Area looks okay. Pool and jacuzzi was closed, I called a day before to verify it was open. Tv in living room did not work. I had to go downstairs 4 because the phone to call front desk didn't work either. Really disappointed!

First of all, we didn't expect to pay parking fees, and the bathtub is in very bad condition, so we didn't even bother to use it. The walk-in shower is quite all right, good thing is that they have two bedrooms to offer to a small family.

Choose this hotel for extended stays, because room setup and size here were good. Shower heads need to be upgraded or cleaned for buildup effecting water. Pool and hot tub were out of service, which would have resulted in us staying somewhere else had we known ahead time. We were on our 28th anniversary trip so that was a major drawback for us and seriously effected the quality of our stay, Staff (both front desk and housekeeping) are incredibly polite and welcoming…hope management knows this, because their people are this hotel’s shining beacon.

Hotel is not like Residence Inns I've stayed before. Charge $100.00 non refundable deposit for my dog. Then $12.00 for parking. Walls were thin so heard walking above me, like pounding. And walking outside room. For these reasons I will not be back.

Our room literally had a wet carpet and smelled like mold. The windows were open when we checked in and it was like they were trying to air out the horrible smell. The room was run down and the bathrooms were gross. The guy checking us in was good but other than that, there's not much good to say about this hotel.

Nice room. Just alot of noise upstairs. Needs some updating. Bathtub was rusted and wall paper coming off the walls. Kitchen was great but not enough supplies for coffee. No tea variety. And we got NO room cleaning. So we had no fresh towels. Free Breakfast was nice! Overall great! Staff was very nice! Grounds were clean.

Sheets and carpets smell so bad. We moved to another room for the second night. Sheets and carpets smell the same. Pullout bed mattress was literally stained with all over and extremely dirty. Roosters were crowing so loud and cars were racing in neighborhoods in the middle of the night. Phone was missing and kitchenwares were missing (no pans and pots only lids). Our family used to stay at this property often and we loved it, but it is sad to see that the quality control is not there anymore. But the staffs were nice and trying to accommodate.

Sewage backed up onto sinks and shower floor pan, and thermostat malfunctioned and couldn’t keep the temperature at a set point. Had to constantly turn the heater or AC on and off to keep the temp reasonable. Nice room though and kind, helpful staff though.

Room was really cramped. Bed was comfortable but the pull out mattress of the couch was not - I was glad my 4yo was sleeping on it and not me. Lots of furnishings were showing age and were clearly not cleaned regularly or taken care of. Breakfast items were not put out all at the same time. At one point, there was no coffee at breakfast for the 30 minutes that we were there. Overall the feeling was "ho hum".

Love the layout of the room. Definitely a place you can stay at for a longer stretch of time since there's a small kitchen with fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher. The room is spacious with plenty of areas to sit, stretch out, and work besides the bed itself. Roomy. Great place.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and had a great surprise in learning that each room had its own bathroom! We loved having that extra restroom, it truly gave a sense of comfort and privacy. The couch was okay, it could have been more comfortable. The beds were okay as well.

Staff at check in were very nice. However, Room had a not so clean smell. Bed in bedroom was okay. The pull out bed was awful I felt sorry that my son had to sleep on it. We liked the size of our rooms and the kitchenette! It was perfect and met all our needs with a refrigerator, microwave, small stove, dishes, silverware, and a couple of pans. We choose this hotel every time. Plus they have free breakfast in the mornings!

One person comes to mind... HANNAH. Hannah was very welcoming. Traveling with kids is never easy, and life can become dynamic. We needed to check in early, so I called at about 9:30am to check availability. Hannah and the staff moved mountains to ensure we had a room. This Hotel has is lucky to have personnel like Hannah working for them. My wife and I even put her on our Christmas list :)

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I missed my check-in, and upon arrival, I discovered my reservation was canceled without notice. Despite assurances over the phone from the manager for a next-day refund, I later received notification of their refusal to issue it. This experience was unprofessional and dishonest, and I will not be booking with this establishment again.

ALL the staff was very friendly. We had a problem with the A/C on our 4th day and the general manager brought us a portable A/C within 1/2 hour she was very concerned and very helpful. The rooms were excellent.

It was over 100 degree and our room air condition was not working. Our 1yr old child was not able to sleep until and cried until mid night. The front desk didn't tell us about the air condition until we found out later. They told us there is no room to swap and you can talk to the manager in the morning. The manager was not there when we checkout. Front desk left a note and said someone will call us and give us discount the same day. It has been 2 days now and no one called. We are extremely frustrated about the poor service and wish someone can call us back to say at least they are sorry.

I had a terrible experience, i lost my wallet on my way to my trip to Salinas, and the receptionist wasnt able to help me check in becouse i did not have a physical ID, but i had a Picture of my ID and work ID on me. i went through expedia to change my name reservation but when i went back to check in their system was updated, i went to my event, without showering or changing, then after my event at 1 am, i went back to be told that it was to late to check in because the system was already checking in for the next day, i had to drive around Salinas for 2 hours until i found a place to rest,

Perfect hotel for a family of five. We had a two bedroom suite with a common area containing a kitchen and living room. Very close to all stores and restaurants. Would stay here again.

This is 2nd time staying. Property loos quite old. Doors, air conditioner, switches, lamps kitchens are required upgrade to remain higher rating hotel. I'd like not to stay this hotel ant more. It was too noisy around hotel by roud audios from cars even around 11 o'clock PM.

Property was very pleasant to stay. We stayed in one of their one bedrooms and loved the kitchenette and how the property is close to grocery stores and dinning. Stayed with my boyfriend and it was very relaxing. Wish the indoor pool was open during our stay but overall I would highly recommend to others.

The stay wasn’t up to the standards we expect of Residence Inn. The TV in our first room wasn’t working properly. We moved to another room in which the phone didn’t work. We were most disappointed with the breakfast and coffee. The coffee in the morning was very watery. The hot food was not hot. The fruit was inedible. One day the bananas were black and the next day they were green. We’ve stayed at several Residence Inn’s, but this was the worst.

Room was really cramped. Bed was comfortable but the pull out mattress of the couch was not - I was glad my 4yo was sleeping on it and not me. Lots of furnishings were showing age and were clearly not cleaned regularly or taken care of. Breakfast items were not put out all at the same time. At one point, there was no coffee at breakfast for the 30 minutes that we were there. Overall the feeling was "ho hum".

Marsha was the most welcoming hotel person I have ever encountered. She was responsive when I reported thatbour heater did not work and early in the morning there ahe was again with a pleasant disposition. Also, breakfast was so good, many delicious options!

I booked it through hotel.com, paid in full. Upon arrival, I was told the site didnot pay yet. But the nice staff resolved and had us stay. After we checked out, a staff came running to tell our card didnot get accepted. When we went in, they said it was fine. Also, breakfast was only eggs for us (no prom eater) 😢

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, room was spacious and clean, the bathtub had a lot of rust in it but otherwise was clean. Wish the pool was available, staff member explained that it had been recently remodeled and they we’re waiting for a city inspector to give the ok to reopen it.

Nice room. Just alot of noise upstairs. Needs some updating. Bathtub was rusted and wall paper coming off the walls. Kitchen was great but not enough supplies for coffee. No tea variety. And we got NO room cleaning. So we had no fresh towels. Free Breakfast was nice! Overall great! Staff was very nice! Grounds were clean.

it was a great place to stay. The front desk was great. My biggest disappointment was that we didn't get the room service that was suppose to happen as we stayed there for 4 days. The place was convince as we were close to Monterey.
