The room was clean and comfortable, except for the temperature. The room was at 78 when I checked in, and there weren't instructions on how to use the thermostat. The young man at the front desk in the evening was terrible. Condescending, one-word answers, acted as if I were stupid for asking questions. He just couldn't be bothered to help with anything. You know who was GREAT? The valet. He stepped in to help each time Mr. couldn't-be-bothered brushed me off. He was more attentive from OUTSIDE the building than the desk guy was. Plus the valet took extraordinary care of my car while it was in the hotel's possession. Not likely I'll choose the same hotel next time I'm in San Diego. Too many other options.

I'm never the one to leave a review but I had to on this one because when im booking a hotel I am one to go based off reviews and some of the reviews are not accurate at all. The location was central to most things about 10 to 15 minute drive max. The hotel itself was not as nice as the pictures or what the reviews described. Let me say when you walk out it was nothing but homeless people/camps on every sidewalk every corner around the hotel. We saw homeless people doing drugs mind you we had our kids with us during this trip and they had to see that. At night it really gets bad literally across the street its a large group of homeless people that gather to sleep there. The self parking garage is terrible you have to park from the 5th floor up and its not easy getting in and out of the garage the turns going up and down are tight and small. The hotel lobby air must have not been working because it was hot. The hotel didn't look like it was complete or unfinished renovations. The floor our room was on had a leak or something they had big fans going and it smelled like mildew. I would not recommend this hotel and I would never booked this hotel again It was not worth the money paid.

El Hotel estaba muy deteriorado a pesar que los cuartos estaban remodelados, los pasillos de los cuartos olían a Podrido viejo, las alfombras sucias y mucho olor a cigarro a pesar de que no se puede fumar, solo servía un elevador, NO hicieron el servicio de cuarto a pesar que se le solícitos dos veces y el Servio de Valet Parking con espera de 30 min. No volvería a llegar ni gratos No tiene Personal para atencion
