Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 5 nootti. La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta, nel Gaslamp quarter che è quello dei locali ma a una strada di distanza, quindi fuori dalla zona della movida che comunque si raggiunge in un paio di minuti di cammino. L'hotel è bello, la camera era al terzo piano con vista piscina ma era estremamente silenziosa. Abbiamo avuto solo un piccolo problema con l'aria condizionata ma è stato risolto abbastanza alla svelta. Se dovessi tornare a San Diego, lo sceglierei di nuovo.

If you are a parrot head looking for Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville experience, this is not the hotel for you. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very conveniently located but as far as a Margaritaville goes, this felt like the “Temu” version. There was no Volcano Nachos, No Cheeseburger In Paradise, none of the same signature drinks you expect from Margaritaville, in fact we stayed 5days/4nights and couldn’t once get a Landshark beer. There was rarely a Jimmy Buffett song on the radio and the pool felt like visiting a nursing home. In my opinion, there are many other less expensive options in Gaslamp that will fit your needs and not leave you feeling like you paid for something you didn’t get. This one just missed the mark,

The hotel was okay overall, but unfortunately, I don’t think we would stay here again especially with kids. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work properly, so the room stayed uncomfortably hot throughout our stay. There also isn’t room service, and if you forget something or need something simple like silverware, you have to go down to the restaurant to get it. The restaurant staff, however, were absolutely wonderful and easily one of the highlights of our stay. We also rented a cabana, which I felt was disappointing for the $250 minimum spend. There were items left behind from the previous guests, and the chairs could definitely use some reupholstering. The pool itself is also quite small, especially when you have kids who want to swim and play. I will say that the property looks much more resort-like in the photos than it feels in person, so I found the pictures to be a little deceiving. If traveling without kids, it may be a different experience, but with a family, I would personally choose a more traditional resort-style property next time. It was great to be in walking distance of everything and have an awesome view of Petco park.

Convenient location for Padres game and Gaslamp. Check-in took longer than a busy Vegas weekend. Pool was gross w film from all the obese Boomers. Room and on-site food were both average. Front desk took ownership for a terrible check-in experience and comp’d some resort fees + on-site dining/coffee shop credit.

The worst check in and check out process I’ve ever experience. I was told multiple times to come back and my room would be ready but was not. I wasted time waiting around to check in. If they would have been up front with me in the first place I would have went exploded instead of sticking around. I was not the only person in this situation but I believe others had it worse. People were in the lobby with suitcases open trying to get ready for their event. I understand they were booked so it had taken extra time to clean all the rooms but for the price people pay to stay there, you would think planning ahead in those situations with more staff would be a reasonable ask. The stay went fine after all of that but at check out I was told to “hold on” by the front desk clerk in the middle of talking so she could call someone on her cell. I let her do her thing and was just brushed off and told they have my card so they will just charge it. It would have taken a minute to just finish with me and proceed on what she needed to do. I would like to mentions that the maintenance guy that came to fix out tv was the only pleasant and prompt staff I came in contact with my whole stay. First and last time I will stay at a margaritaville.
