Nob Hill Motor Inn -Newly Updated Rooms!

Great spot to explore San Francisco and one of the few properties with parking. Parking is tight but very convenient. Room was clean and had all the necessary amenities.

Good rooms. Tiny parking spots though. The staff wasnt there to check me in. But i called the number. And they instructed me to take theh room key from this secret compartment. So everything worked out fine.

The cost was reasonable. The parking was convenient but very very tight, especially if someone doesn't park in their lines. It was in a great location to who we were visiting and what we were doing in the city. It would have been more comfortable with a runner along the sides of the bed so you don't have to touch a cold floor. Thank you.

Very clean and practical designed room. Microwave , coffeemaker, and refrigerator included. Rooms are very quiet to outside noise. Only draw back is the parking. Very tight parking spaces even with a smaller car Good thing we didnt nring our truck.. But it is free parking. Will stay here again.

We were impressed that there was a lift. Carpark was rather tight and Americans with oversize cars seem to think it's acceptable to park across 2 spaces. The room was pleasant enough but the AC unit was very loud overnight.

The room is very spacious. Parking and checking in was easy and quick. Everything was great.

The bed was comfortable enough. It was very basic so don't look for an extra blanket, etc. the cleaning chemicals lingered.

Very pleased with our stay. Had a over night stay for a Doctor appt. the following morning. Room was large, clean, comfortable and affordable! Even had Free Parking! Wished it had better selection of restaurants within a couple of blocks was the only negative. Would definitely stay here again!

Rooms were clean. This isnt a high end hotel, and isnt pretending to be. Great motel to stay in downtown San Francisco when you have a vehicle to deal with. The neighborhood could not be more perfect. Walking distance to most things, and so many good food options

Even though hotel is older rooms have been updated. Comfortable Bed and spacious rooms. Very clean

The room had a terrible chemical smell. The bathroom floor was wet, the shower was too disgusting to use. I was charged a $150 deposit and 24 hours after check-out it still hasn’t been refunded.

The walls were very thin and I could hear next door's music. It was a motel style so the door leads straight to outside. Although the hotel isn't in tenderloin it still felt a bit unsafe outside at night alone. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Room next to an elevator was a little loud from people opening and closing elevator door.

1st time and this was a great motel spot. Pillows are small and there is 3 on a queen bed. 1st car is free and additional cars are $20. Room was clean, updated, smelled fresh. Neighborhood was good, no homeless or sketchy looking areas or people. Great price and will def stay here again in the future.

Not so good. Water drain was so slow in shower room, so I have to stop shower during draining every 2 minutes not to flood.

The room was big and very clean. The lighting was good. The beds were comfortable. Also, it was quiet. There was no water pressure in the bathroom sink. We could not regulate the heat, so when it got chilly, we had to turn the fan on, which was noisy. The location is great, very centric, but has a neighborhood feel to it. We found excellent restaurants within a ten-minute walk.

The good the bad and the you gotta be sh_ _ _ _ _g me Good: was very clean, was able to get in before normal check in time Bad: no dressers or storage area for clothing have to live out of your suite case was there for 4 nights glade it was not a business trip cause your clothes would look like your living out of a car. Water at the sink if you wait long enough will get hot, shower never gets past warm. Has free WiFi however it goes in and out in waves so watching tv was almost impossible and surching the internet takes forever The other: it shows they can store luggage on website THEY DON’T We had questions for the office. No one there during they open hour's have a door bell push it no one ever came, called no voicemail just rings called multiple times 30-45 minutes apart no resolution next morning going to check out still no one in the office door was open with a note leave keys here. So that meant no receipt. Conclusion: If you like wrinkled clothes, warm showers, TV and Internet not very stable and not being able to get your questions answered this is the place for you

there is no isolation in the wall so you can hear everting from other rooms including conversations of other people. they over accommodated the rooms and it's really crazy noisy, the staff that clean the room is yelling from on side to other of the motel and in general not a good place to stay because of all that. every time you go to front desk there is no one there and you need to wait for them to come. didn't enjoy my stay at all.

Like- location, parking, room size Dislike- very weak sink water almost non existent. I had to brush my teeth in the tub. AC weak and dirty, thin walls.

We had a hard time checking in. We arrived at 10:30PM and there was no one in the reception. After 20 minutes calling, knocking the door and the windows finally someone appeared. The room was good, renovated and decent. The bed was ok, pillows could be improved. There is a very limited area for parking, but we could find a spot every day (even tho they were super tiny - a big car would not fit). We could hear a lot of noise from neighbor rooms. The location was great. Walking distance from a lot of attractions.

I was never even able to check-in to the Nob Hill Motor Inn. The front desk clerk was very rude to me and did not allow me to check in and would not give me a reason as to why.

The covered garage was a dry place to wait in while we called the desk clerk before midnight to request entry to our reserved room. The hotel voicemail answered within a reasonable time and I’m sure the room we had reserved and paid for would have been wonderful.

Been staying here several trips now. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. They’re great. Highly recommend this spot!

Our stay was really great. The room was just as seen online. It was just remodeled. The manager ,Danny and the staff was great. I'll be back.

I stay at this hotel everytime. It has parking underneath and very modern clean rooms. You are within walking distance to the city and the buses can take you anywhere further. Check in is easy and I feel very safe traveling solo or with friends. Highly recommend

Room was clean, nice looking. Needed more than 1 chair. We should have requested a handicap room. Desk clerk was friendly. Will stay again if in the area.

Good location, near commercial corridor - easy walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. Bus lines nearby to take you all over the city as well.

Every time we come back to the city, we stay here. It’s been a family favorite for decades! We never have to drive anywhere because of the convenient location enabling us to walk or take MUNI wherever we go. We love the renovations done on the rooms, which are always spotlessly clean and spacious.

Great location, nice size room with good food options nearby. Would stay here again.

The hotel was perfectly located in a very safe area. (Nob Hill). Restaurants were abundant and within walking distance. The rooms had been renovated, and the Free Parking was a Homerun. We took buses and cable cars within a block of the hotel.If I’m ever back in SF, I’ll be staying there again.

Not a fancy hotel by any means, but it does its job and I'll totally stay here again. Fully remodeled, clean, good customer service and free parking. Is it limited and tight? Live with it, or go a hotel to pay over 50 a night only for parking. Not to ignore, location location location... it really is in a safe and super cool neighborhood. Detail for those afraid of bed bugs, the mattress is protected, I checked.... =)
