I found pubic hairs attached to the sheets in my room. Additionally, I requested an ADA compliant room, ADA parking is not available in front of the rooms. The owners/managers utilize the Ada parking space for a family member living at the property. Other Ada compliant parking is available at the front of the building, but not in front of the rooms that are for handicap customers. Facility does not provide enough condiments for coffee in the rooms.

The staff was fine and check in and out easy; price reasonable for what you get. We did not feel safe in the area and it was also very noisy. Older and run down, in need of lots of repairs and cosmetics. Small parking area, difficult and confusing to access. The pictures on Expedia make it seem much nicer than it is.

A very basic hotel, room is small, but clean and very limited amenities. Breakfast was coffee, juice and packaged rolls in the miniscule lobby. Was quite quiet, though. Easy to get to off Hwy 101

Smoke alarm was removed from room, main light bulbs out, loud music from lower level room, check in thru a window, breakfast (not really). Much better places to stay in San Rafael for similar price.

The property looked great. Room clean and well cared for. Unfortunately this sight is not for people or construction workers who need to stay for the week. No parking. Have to park out on the street. $4000 worth of tools that were locked up on the truck still managed to get stollen out of the work truck

Sketchy people hanging around the property. Went to check in and saw a roach scurry across the room. Followed by a bed bug crawling up the wall. Didn’t unpack thank goodness. Person on the front desk probably knew. Refunded me without hesitation. Avoid at all cost

I noticed black mold in the window seal of my bathroom. The exhaust fan didn't do enough to move the bathroom air out. I enjoyed my stay besides that.

Initially arriving they write down your card information to paper, which is very concerning that it’s not being input to a SureStay system of record online. I have photos of the rooms lack of cleanliness to include a large amount of food splattered across the curtains and large liquid across the wall. Additionally the carpet was very stained and looked . The shower and bath was clean but the room was a 5/10. Paid way too much for the quality

Spend $50 more and skip this place. Carpet and room smell moldy. The facility allows smoking…are you kidding me?? Homeless encampments close by. No table lamps by bed (either side). The room slopes and has uneven places on the floor. Breakfast is served in a 3’ by 3’ area very cramped…the entire lobby is quiet small and stingy appearing. Bottom line: minimal investment and effort made to make this setting comfortable and welcoming. We were here for one night only and it’s definitely a one and done experience. Two good things: the shower works well and the receptionist was meticulous and careful with my credit card and the check in process and also gave us an upstairs room without attitude when I requested this.

When anyone turns on the water shower it echoes very loud including the AC unit as well. If you looking for a quiet place to sleep, this is not the place.

Overall good room. Bed was comfortable. Small breakfast was provided. Front desk took a long time to come to the office. We had to ring the bell twice. The TV in the room didn’t have channels or I couldn’t figure it out. They should provide directions on how to use tv.

The guy that runs this place is definitely an a$$hole.He is rude,not friendly, and will hang up on you while you are talking.Looking for good customer service? Look somewhere else. You won’t get it here. Neighborhood is sketchy too.

The property is clean and works for a quick stay, but the surrounding area is just a little rough. Evidence of prostitution and partying is only 1 street away. I think the property itself is safe enough

The location is very convenient, but just below the elevated freeway. However with the windows closed the noise is not bad at night. The area is not very attractive. We had a glitch with our reservation. Expedia took care of it. Would I stay again- no. I’d pay a bit more to be in a better area.. for just driving thru and needing a good nights stay this will do.

We didn't ended up staying there as when we arrived we noticed it was very unsafe and there were a lot of homeless people in the parking lot, therefore we just drove away !! Not a safe place to Stay!!! So I lost my money $

We literally drove away without getting out of the car. We left when we parked and a prostitute walked up to and past the car. Area already felt suspect but that was enough to flush the prepaid money down the drain.

Very nice for the price. The breakfast was simple, but perfect for us. A bagel with cream cheese, yogurt, fruit and coffee. The location was also nice and centralized for all of our outings. Our room was very comfortable.

It’s very basic. The breakfast doesn’t start until 7:00, which is late by my standards. Breakfast offered was worst I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Very disappointed. No lotion in room.

A very basic hotel, room is small, but clean and very limited amenities. Breakfast was coffee, juice and packaged rolls in the miniscule lobby. Was quite quiet, though. Easy to get to off Hwy 101

Smoke alarm was removed from room, main light bulbs out, loud music from lower level room, check in thru a window, breakfast (not really). Much better places to stay in San Rafael for similar price.

The rooms were clean. The “reception” was tiny and breakfast should be just a coffee bar. This is a motel. Full of people smoking on the porches and balconies

I think they've made some improvements since last time. This is right off the highway so it's never completely quiet but it is clean and service was fast though I booked last minute and arrived very late! The "breakfast" though is really not anything to even mention. The orange juice was "water". There were no tea options. They had plastic wrapped bagels and some sort of danish. But just for a bed, I'd recommend.

The room served our needs for the night. It was able to fit our family of 7. The beds were great, the pull out couch was bent but didn’t bother us. Though there were many stains on the mattress. Other than that the room was clean and what we needed after a long day of travel. The to-go breakfast was great and easy to obtain.

The pull out couch bed was broken and had sharp metal exposed. I was not told of this before we arrived. The end of the couch bed turned up as well because the metal supports were broken. The front desk said you can still sleep on it. They also could not give us keys to the room because their machine was broken. There was no cancellation policy once the property was booked, probably because if people research the property more they would cancel. The balcony walkway was dirty and not level. They did eventually give us another room after much discussion because I said the broken pull out couch was dangerous and unacceptable. I was traveling with small children and did not want them getting cut on the metal. They initially offered a roll away bed to replace the sofa bed but that would not have accommodating two people and there really wasn’t room for it in the room.
