Motel 6-Santa Nella, CA - Los Banos

They need to post signs to where the ice machine was. I couldn't find it. Also instructions for remotes are necessary. There is a Dish remote and TV remote. If wrong button pressed and you don't know how to change the "source" it will be hard to watch tv.

Advertised pool; pool was closed. Advertised spa; spa was closed Advertised internet; had to be rebooted by front desk, and then was so slow it was impossible to work. If you’re only going to sleep or watch TV, then ok; for anything more, go next door. Last time I’ll ever use a Motel 6.

Need to cleannthe bottom of the pool and hot tub

Loved that it had a pool however it could be cleaned. And the hot tub was cold. ( but in summer whos complaining) dog freidnly was a plus but need more public garbages for trash. Rooms were clean, grrat for the price and staff was kind and helpful. There was quite a bit of less polite looking gueats and loud neighbors. Not aure if that is common for this area. But all in all great for price and staff services.

Cleaner than the other Motel 6 in Santa Nella (this one is just outside, on 33 & 152 vs. 33 & 5). They allow dogs, just know they have no dog poo bags nor outside trash cans. I gave them this feedback as no one wants to keep dog poo in their room (it took three of their trash bags to containt he smell); it explained why so many there don't clean up after their dogs.

It was a good stay, unfortunately the area is not very good. I was sad to see the pool and hot tub was closed. But overall good.

Staff were friendly, polite, the room and parking lot were clean and safe.

With a pool and hot tub, This South Santa Nella, CA. location is just off Interstate 5 freeway enough to not be too noisy, I didn't have an insect problem in my room, and is one of the best Motel 6 examples I have stayed at. Thank you.

No restroom in lobby! Drive for hours and get told to go to gas station! California sucks with restrooms use

Easy to find, good parking.

Last minute booking on our drive north before our stay in Redding. Original room smelled of animal urine. Desk clerk was apologetic and gave us another room. The second room smell of marijuana, but was tolerable. Comforters had burn holes though it a non-smoking room. Discovered a mouse in the room in the morning. Plus side is the ac worked well in the hotter weather. Was the cheapest we could find within reason and reviews.

Check in was great, gentleman was kind and helpful. The room was the issue. My expectations were realistic- I know it’s a budget friendly hotel, but our experience was unacceptable. There were dead bugs (3 dead flies and dead moths) in the bathroom sink area. The bathroom trash can had a wrapped up feminine product left in it. There was crusty stuff stuck to the counters. We didn’t even consider the shower- it looked gross. Bedding had cigarette burns all over it, all in plain view. Housekeeping obviously saw the holes, so why use this bedding? There were no blankets. Thank goodness we had our own pillows and blankets in the car. The beds were CHEAP, as in a cot wound have been equally as comfortable. The room REEKED of cigarette smoke and chemical cleaner. The windows were so thin, they rattled every time a car drove by. We could hear EVERYTHING outside. The door didn’t seal well so it was drafty. The door itself was filthy. The tv didn’t work. The bedside outlets didn’t work. We arrived at 10pm after driving for 13 hours and unloaded our entire car (suitcases, snowboard gear etc) before realizing the condition of the room. At that point it was easier to strip the bedding, use our own, light a candle (that I had in the car) and just deal with it, rather than have to try and move ALL our stuff to a new room. Checkout was easy and agent was nice enough, but the lobby REEKED of chemical cleaner to the degree it made me nauseous. NEVER AGAIN.

The room did not have basic amenities like a coffee maker, shampoo, condition, or lotion. While it smelled clean, the room was not. The bed cover had hair all over it, and the room appeared to only have a surface clean - the floors were gross.

This motel 6 is far better than I expected. Very clean, interior looks recently renovated. Nice bedding too.

There were a good amount of bugs in the room, and then there were two spots of huge cobwebs in the bathroom.

Room was very clean and tidy,was skeptical because of a following motel 6 we stayed at was horrible but this one was absolutely fantastic from the awesome staff at the front desk to the maids that clean the room I was very impressed and will definitely stay again

Their was alot of roaches

The floor in the room was sticky and had a film on it. Also the bathroom had dark hairs around the toilet. I was a little disappointed they don't offer body wash or shampoo and when I asked the front desk for some they said they were out. There were dogs barking next door to us which I don't mind too much, just could tell how thin the walls were, and light from the pool outside our room came in on all sides of the door. The towels were extremely rough and scratchy and the mattress pad on the bed didn't cover the mattress, looked like it was the wrong size. The mattress was aged and hurt my back after one night. The one thing I appreciated was that the AC worked although it was loud. And there was hot water. Other than that, it was about what you'd expect for the price.

Room 105 was clean, spacious, and had a refrigerator and microwave oven. The desk person put me in a downstairs room when I asked for this. She was pleasant. My only complaints are that I could not figure out how to use the television (two controllers is one too many for me) and the door security chain was inoperable. I would stay here again, especially when the pool is open.

Was skeptical about a Motel 6 but this was the perfect resting stop for an exhaustingly long drive from SoCal. My room had a brand new flat screen tv, new flooring, fresh beds. The staff was extremely professional, friendly and welcoming. Surrounding area felt safe as well.

Walls and ceiling were thin. Nice stay for the price.

Clean room, AC works great. No shampoo/conditioner, power outage for over 2 hours, and remote to the tv did not work. We had to watch one channel the entire stay. Also, went to leave a review on the comment card that was on the dresser and what do you know? No pen to use to leave my comments....

A typical Motel 6, flat pillows, hard beds, noisy AC, two bars of soap and 2 towels. Convenient and relatively cheap

Friendly staff up front

The staff that checked us in was efficient & accommodating. No frills hotel (no swimming pool or breakfast offered) but it was close to the highway, cheap & convenient for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable & the room appeared clean & smelled heavily of cleaning spray. We arrived kind of late & went to sleep quickly but I woke up congested & noticed that the smell of disinfectant spray had dissolved & the room now smelled heavily of cigarettes. My wife & I both have bad allergies to cigarette smoke so this was a problem for us. It was a rough way to start our vacation. Probably not the hotels fault someone went against the no smoking policy (probably not just one from the smell) but we most likely wouldn’t stay again.

The housekeeprs denied in giving us 2 extra towels because they didnt have any more clean ones and because "they were too busy." But the whole time we were there, the housekeepers were on their phone not doing their services or anything. We asked for toilet paper and they also denied giving us any, we had to go to the receptionest. I told them i didnt want any room service but if they could please take our trash away, and they just left the trash outside our room door. Its the second and last time in staying in this hotel... because the First time was fine..But the personal,the housekeepers were very disrespectful and rude to me and my kids.

Got in late with my sister due to family emergency. Upon checking into hotel, by all means we were tired and hungry it was 1:30am. 1. Got questioned as to where we got the discounted rate and that the hotel charges $99 (Well we booked the room thru hotels.com) 2nd! He gave us our room key, to find out someone was sleeping in the room. very scary and dangerous to say the least!

Someone stole a thousand dollar hydraulic cylinder out of my truck. Otherwise, it was a nice clean place. Better than motel six used to be

Nothing special or nothing bad. It's a room for the night at a fair price. The area it's in is pretty bad but that's not the motels fault. It's a good midway point in a trip to Oregon and that's pretty cool. Would stay again

A quiet, clean, and affordable place to stay not far from I-5.

Clean modern room and all the needed amenities. The pool looked nice. This hotel is four miles from Santa Nella, sepparate from the other hotels and restaurants.

A little confusion when I tried to check in because there are two hotels with the same name in the same town. I stayed at the one on Gonzaga and it was very very nice. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating about finding my correct reservation Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room though. Will stay there again.

That area did not feel safe. There seem to be a lot of people in and out of rooms very run down. Probably why the price was the way it was. We had to drive to A Area That Seemed Out in the Country. No food other than gas stations, and a lot of people that seem to be living In their cars.

More quiet than the other Motel 6 near Hwy 15. This one is privately owned and 3 miles from highway. Very friendly staff, clean, has microwave and fridge. No coffee maker in room but available in lobby.
