Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean. Room has all is needed for an extended stay. My stay was short, so I didn't use any of that. Pool was available from 8am to 8pm. Complimentary breakfast buffet with a large amount of items to choose from. Great! A

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay @ The Residence Inn by Mariott Sunnyvale Silicon Valley II. The lady that checked us in was very polite and helpful. Our room had a FULL kitchen with an ice maker in the freezer. Real plates, drinkware and silverware to use. Also a counter with stools to sit. The TV only had local channels but had apps available and you can sign in on uour accounts. Central, quiet air/ heat. Not the usual dinosaur contraption @ most other hotels that are loud and rarely work. It was a brisk mid January weekend, so we were thankful for the great heat! The breakfast was 3/5. Plentiful and free but just ok. We slept well as it was quiet and the bed was comfy. There was also a good size couch to sit up and watch tv. Bathroon with shower/ tub, separate vanity/sink area. Also,3 closets if you're staying awile. Located off the main roads on a cute coldasack. Clean, big property. We paid >$200 for Fri/Sat, not bad at all! Also ~10 minutes to the Murphy Street district that has great food and drink options. We will be back again! My only dislike was the $19/night parking fee. I was aware from other reviews but it was not mentioned @ checkin. However, it was nice to have our car safe and not be stolen or broken into.

The only complaint is that there was an open, half drank corona on the kitchen counter when we arrived. Thankfully we saw it before the small kids did. Other than that service was great. They were super busy being New Years eve, however they were all relaxed and quickly moving everyone through check in. We had the two story, 2 bedroom unit and it was large and perfect for us. The breakfast was awesome as well, especially for being included in the cost. The rates were really good for that size room and the area. There was a pool and basketball/tennis courts. Highly recommend to anyone, especially travelers with kids.

Breakfast was excellent. Very good bathroom and easy to use. One disappointment was the $17 daily parking fee. Most guests arrived by driving themselves, and the daily parking fees don’t make sense at all.

From start to finish everything was exceptional! The room was great, the pool was clean amd refreshing. We were able to do our laundry onsite. Special shout out to Bridgette that works in the kitchen. She goes out of her way to acknowledge every guest she sees. She got my daughter waffles one morning when they didnt have the batter to make them. My daughter loves waffles and looks forward to them whenever we travel.

The only problem I had and I stayed there before but never had this issue was that. Late I was in my phone seating on the side of the bed when on my right I see something small moving, when I look it was a “cockroach” yes a “cockroach” a big one in my bed! I was there for one night and I decried it leave at 5am didn’t want to sleep there anymore! Other than that it was ok. But $19 for parking? I never heard that you have to pay for parking now. So a little bit disappointed

Very bad was so disappointed and disgusted that we had to find out there was a rat in our room! We noticed our fruit was bitten in with a hole and all the creamers in the kitchen was gone over night found them underneath the couch chewed up and bit into pieces about 4 creamers noticed while I was looking for my Tylenol bottle and moved the couch and all the stuff was bitten and my Tylenol as well all chewed up! Then they moved us into a new room and come to find out there was a locked door seemed like it there was a machine in there, don’t know what was in there made these load! Noice all night non stop just a horrible and disgusted experience I hope I can get my money back

They do not tell you that you have to pay for parking until you’re there. The door to the room wouldn’t open easily with the key card, it was jammed. The bathroom was covered in makeup stains from the walls to the sink.

Reserved 2 rooms. Upon arrival 1 was ready so we dropped our luggage in that room and went to the mall. Received a call about 30 mins later saying 2nd room was available. Headed back after dinner at the same time I received an email sayimg 2nd room had been cancelled due to "unforseen circumstances" and the reservation jad beem changed to a sister location about 45 mins way. Staff was rude and unaccomodatig. Basically said "youre screwed and we cant help". Also, cockroach found in room!

Overall the room was nice- good for families. The negative is that if you are downstairs you will hear all the steps/walking. The guest that was up above was up throughout the night, a kept waking us up. Additionally the AC units are loud. If you are a light sleeper you might not like this. My other issue is parking fee. I think my concerns are similar to other comments I read prior to booking. I'd probably stay there again due to safety and located near the freeway.

I can’t recommend this Residence Inn enough. From the moment I checked in, the team was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The property itself is well-maintained and clean, but the vibe is what made it 5 stars for me, just very chill and stress-free. The suite was spacious and clean, and having the extra living space was a game-changer. Thanks for a great few days!

Appliances are a bit outdated. Dishwasher wouldn’t stay closed. Door was tricky to get in and out, deadbolt would get stuck and door couldn’t close properly. Book through Expedia for this location, they have the best rates out of all the sites. I stayed here for 3 weeks and extended several times. The rate on Expedia was by far cheapest.

Clean beds and towels. Very good breakfast, they even have a ramen bar. There are TVs in every room of the suite. Free WiFi is slow, if you pay $5 daily for enhanced service is probably faster. The property is old. We stayed at the 2 bedrooms suite. One of these bedrooms was more like a mezzanine. The A/C wasn’t working in the bedrooms, we didn’t report it because we got there late at night and left the next morning. The outside of the building look abandoned.

The room was updated and spacious. Buffet breakfast is ok but very few selection. I would give this place 4 star but minus 1 after the toilet got clogged. Maintenance was quick but it seems they need to check their sewer line since even the shower tub is slow draining.

This unit, with 2 floors, including one closed bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen, was perfect for our little family. The breakfast is delicious and can accommodate all types of diets. There are plenty of parking spaces and the area is very quiet. The best place we had.

We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in the area. Every year we stay near Great America, room was clean. Housekeepers were on top of everything. Size of room was perfect. Location and entry was alright but the worst part was front desk. The gentleman that check me in was so rude, he was bothered by questions and every phone call that came in was enough to trigger him. Even to the point to disrespect and degrade every person staying that night, even in front of me and my wife. Name calling and even hanging up on ppl. I have never in my life witness something so rude. But hey we are in 2024. This comment section isn’t enough space to tell you how rude and unprofessional he and another women were. Countless Scenarios I witness. Also this is my first ever feedback/rating I have ever done.

I can’t recommend this Residence Inn enough. From the moment I checked in, the team was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The property itself is well-maintained and clean, but the vibe is what made it 5 stars for me, just very chill and stress-free. The suite was spacious and clean, and having the extra living space was a game-changer. Thanks for a great few days!

Great place to stay. The staff is extremely attentive to your needs and very friendly. The room was very clean and quiet. I will definitely stay again in the future. I cant stress enough how great the customer service is here. Oh and the breakfast is good as well

Stay was okay. Breakfast was 6/10 Staff at front desk 5/10 Room was 6/10 AC was not working. Had to move to different room. Front desk receptionist was there just for the paycheck. No answer when I attempted to call (multiple times) to let them know about the AC. Drove to other side of building to get his attention and advise of issues. I wouldn’t stay at this residence inn again.

The room and hotel were nice and spacious as pictured in the advertisement, everything was clean and comfy. Most staff was friendly EXCEPT For one girl at the front desk (Danielle or Daniella) I can’t remember her exact name, when I went to the check in lobby to pay for a over night parking pass she was EXTREMELY rude. She seemed flustered and irritated while helping me, which left a very bad impression on me unfortunately. I am a very nice/happy person all around but once she came at me in such a rude way I was extremely upset and not happy with her behavior. If you are working at the front desk expect to have to help your guests and be polite! Her attitude was unnecessary!

From start to finish everything was exceptional! The room was great, the pool was clean amd refreshing. We were able to do our laundry onsite. Special shout out to Bridgette that works in the kitchen. She goes out of her way to acknowledge every guest she sees. She got my daughter waffles one morning when they didnt have the batter to make them. My daughter loves waffles and looks forward to them whenever we travel.

We went for a Metallica concert. Location was a bit far from the stadium but still walkable at a hour walk home. It was a grueling walk but doable and still better than fighting traffic. My suggestion would be to bring a bike. We would have been set up great to bike to the stadium. Great location for family overall. Property was very clean and staff was friendly. We went on many walks. Not a ton of places to walk to but the location felt safe. Our room was amazing with a loft for the kids. The kids had more fun in theory room than anything else. Hoping at best to be comfortable we didn’t expect that the property was one of the highlights of our family trip

My daughter and family can to visit us. We reserved Residence Inn for them. They enjoyed their stay and included breakfast very much. And they also liked the convenient location that’s minutes from the freeway, good restaurants, and her parents’s home.

Overall the stay was very pleasant. I came for a funeral and didn’t expect much. The room was excellent as a home away from home for a short time. The only downside was that there are no eating options within walking distance that I was aware of.

Property is very run down and it is not easy to get luggage up and down their stairs to the units. Door handles were very hard to push down to open the doors on both my unit and my friend’s. Housekeepers showed up twice between 9:30-11am even though check out is at 11. They really should have a system to only go to rooms that have been checked out or Do Not Disturb hangers. They also do not have ice machines, you have to take your ice tray in your freezer down to the front desk to have them fill or wait for the ice to be made in your freezer. The TV wouldn’t work until we set the time and date on it. The bases on the lamps on the night stands take up most of the room on them so it makes it hard to put stuff there if the phone is on that side too. Other than that the staff was very friendly, they have full sized frig/freezers in the room which was great. It was 15 minutes from the Shoreline and Ubers were easy to get to and from, but realistically it would have been nicer to have been a little closer.

Great area, near a college campus. Has a little kitchenette and pretty clean. Parking kinda sucks if you don’t come back early. Checkout time is noon which is also a plus. Friendly staff as well.

We always love staying at this hotel. 2 things that I could complain about. They charge you to park your car at the hotel a day. I drove 2 hours to visit family and to be charged for parking isnt ok. And lastly they're breakfast wasn't good plus the ladies working in the kitchen were very rude. We asked for more ketchup and the lady seemed bothered we said thank you and she just walked away. Will definitely stay there again love their rooms very clean and comfortable

The room was updated and spacious. Buffet breakfast is ok but very few selection. I would give this place 4 star but minus 1 after the toilet got clogged. Maintenance was quick but it seems they need to check their sewer line since even the shower tub is slow draining.

This seems to be an apartment complex that was transformed into a Residence Inn. Very appropriate. I've stayed her 3 times in the last 3 or 4 years. The first time was a 2 bedroom. It had a real bedroom downstairs and a loft bedroom with it's own bathroom upstairs, There's plenty of parking near the perimeter and some building are not on the perimeter. The last two times i got a studio on the ground floor and they have full kitchens also. I always like their breakfast, upstairs from the lobby. Everything you want including a waffle iron. A mile or two from Costco with a gas station restaurants and just about anything you'd want. On Lawrence Express Way near US101.
