Best Western Plus Country Park Hotel

Staff at the front desk was so basic and just did his job. The room was was nice, we had two Queen beds, that were very firm and somewhat lumpy but we were tired and slept until the maids started working at 6:45. We were unfortunately in the room next to their storage supply area. The hallway was carpeted, but from the supply area to the lobby, it was tile so we can hear them pushing their wagons. And the back window from our room was next to a gate in garbage area so we kept hearing that. Tehachapi is a really nice area for an overnight stay. We won’t be coming back back to the best Western because it was just a hair better than aTehachapi is a really nice area for an overnight stay. We won’t be coming back back to the Best Western because it was just a hair better than a Motel 6. There are several other good namebrand hotels that we will try instead.

We walked in greeted by what Looked like someone was doing laundry on the table & chairs, the counter had a sign no pets but then the staff had a dog behind the counter who tried to get out and did get out, the surrounding shrubs has Asian drink bottles in the ground. It’s looks like it’s seen better days, stains on carpet and chair, elevator seemed questionable when we left in the morning the breakfast area was dark.

Very adequate, clean, efficient, good amenities. Man at front desk needed some friendliness/hospiltslity training.

We were there on a cold night. We had a ac/heater unit in the room and one in the living room due to the fact we had a suite. Heater in room worked fine. Heater in living room did not even turn on. What a cold night for my kid.
