Holiday Inn Express Temecula by IHG

The third floor hallway needs a good carpet scrubbing. The room was very clean.

Room smelled of Smoke and we were blamed for not reporting it to the front desk. Someone came into our room while we were gone and this person said he smelled the Oder.

Unfortunately we arrived to a hotel under renovation! I had booked 2 rooms for a destination wedding. Both rooms were on the 3rd floor surrounded by construction. There were work carts, construction equipment, paint, draping s etc in the hall out side of 3 rooms being renovated. 2 across from 1 of our rooms and the 3rd directly adjacent to the other room. Early morning drilling and electric sanding woke us. Scraping of spackling and painting equipment were right at our head board. I asked management to help move us and the day manager was less than caring. A smug “I’m sorry” and we are over booked. Corporate or franchise greed is what caused this debacle. If there are renovations going on, close the floor. Your corporation can afford a loss one night to complete your renovations as to not impede your clients’ comfort. The amount I paid to stay at a Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights (3 for one room) was overpriced due to the conditions and non-response from management on site. Never again. I’m shocked by the many reviews that caused me to book here and the reputation of Holiday Inns. This one is not up to par and needs better management that actually cares and tries to make things right.

Nice place too stay. Good breakfast, the rooms on 3 floor vas very nice. The bed was very good.
