Very friendly and welcoming staff. Some deferred maintenance noted on the grounds ( broken Spa, outside fountain, patio string lights on 24 hrs.). We have stayed here before more activities available. Few of the local businesses open during the day during our stay?

I really liked your staff and the way we were treated. Everything went smoothly from that perspective. Also we valued that you have parking lot nearby and easy accessible. Also the pool area was super nice, clean and nearby our hotel room. Thanks for taking care of us.

Stayed during 4th of July so the pool area was busy but enjoyable. The pool was heated and there was a hot tub that I enjoyed the following morning. The staff were friendly. The king patio room was nice. The restaurant was good - both service and food. Location and parking were great.

The hotel is a little older, but rooms are spacious and clean. The outdoor space was extra nice with a heated pool and hot tub, firepit, and lots of lounge chairs. I was disappointed there wasn’t a microwave in the room. There was one in the lobby.

Shame. Spent over $300 a night - place is dirty and dated. Beds pretty bad as are pillows. If you are under someone every footstep is heard so loud! When we arrived, they didn’t even have the air on in the room so the rooms were hot and stuffy. Unfortunately, one of our rooms didn’t even have water and said it came with two bottles. Larry when we checked in was very accommodating and let us get a different room because the bed sucks so bad in the first room. He should’ve told us about the footsteps above our heads however we would’ve stayed on the third floor. In such a cute little town it’s just a bummer to spend that kind of money and be in a room that was that lame rest in the shower spiderweb in my bathroom with a spider in it hair on the floor just not worth it.

The room had a mildew smell that made us cough all night long. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, The shower looked like one at a campground. Small and dark stall shower with a curtain. We had paid more for a balcony room but got one on ground level with a patio facing the common walkway- very noisy. The back door backed up to the parking lot with cars going by all night. Seemed like a Motel 6. We had to check out early due to the smell making us sick

Check-in was seamless, can’t beat the location, room was clean, however, both of our rooms smelled awful, it smelled like turpentine, trying to cover up must. We had to leave the windows open and spray a bunch of perfume to tolerate it. I am also not a fan of Towels, stacked on the toilet, that’s not sanitary. That being said, because of the location, we would probably stay there again.

Room smelled moldy and musty to the point that it was hard to sleep. The room appeared clean but there was damage to the sick area and it smelled very strongly of mold/mustiness. The property itself was okay with a good restaurant attached but overall I would never stay again because the smell was overwhelming.

The Lodge is nice, but overrated and overpriced. At one point, I had a question. I called the operator, housekeeping, and the front desk, and none were available to answer the phone. The mini-refrigerator in the room and the A/C were very noisy. At night, we had to unplug the fridge (and throw away the food inside) and turn off the A/C. For 4 days, our view from the window faced a truck filled with plant debris. Also, we had a family with a child next door that woke us up several times crying. On the up side, it was clean and well-located for food options.

We have stayed here a few times while visiting family. We bring our dog since it is very dog friendly. Don’t stay on the first floor since it gets pretty loud at night with guests walking etc. The internet and TV has not been working intermittently as well. Nice place, close to everything but a couple of inconveniences

This place definitely feels more like a motel. Clean but very out dated. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. It was also very noisy. We could hear everything going on in the room next to us. Will pay more for an upgraded hotel next time.

My upstairs neighbor kept me up at night for two nights, and even in the morning, with noises apparently coming from a dog that wouldn't stop jumping and barking. We told reception, and they said they'd do something, but they didn't. They didn't even answer the phone the second night, in the early morning. I'm very dissatisfied with the hotel's quiet hours. The service is poor in that regard.

The staff was very accommodating, especially the manager (Dean). He even called a few vineyards for me to set up a same day wine tasting. Our 1st room was a King with a pull-out bed but that was extremely uncomfortable for the 3rd person, so they changed us to 2 Queens with no problem and helped us with our luggage. Unfortunately, none of the Double Queen rooms face the river which is why we were in the King Room with the pull-out bed in the 1st place. It is very peaceful by the river to sit out on the patio and have a drink. I wish the restaurant had more food options, though.

Horrible service! Front desk person, Jeff, was outside on skateboard & smoking just outside the door when we arrived. He told us he needed to have a cigarette so we would need to wait a few minutes to check in because he was “dying for a break”. Being allergic to smoke, this was a huge turn off already & the lack of hospitality was astonishing! This was a surprise trip for my husband. I had been to this hotel a few years ago & was mentioning some changes to my husband when Jeff started telling us nothing has changed there in years. I mentioned that the hotel website says it was updated in 2022. Jeff proceeded to tell us that it’s a lie & nothing has been updated in over 10 years & that the new owners don’t believe in maintenance so nothing is maintained & how much he hates it. Within our first 10 min there, my surprise moment was completely ruined& I was left feeling like I had just been ripped off as even the “welcoming” staff was telling me the reasons that we shouldn’t be there. So embarrassing! I was not given the bottle of wine for VIP. Jeff said he knew nothing about that. If the hotel isn’t actually going to give the listed VIP perks, it should be removed from the listing. Throughout our sat-mon stay, Jeff was either out on his skateboard & smoking or he was LAYING back behind the front desk looking at his cell & could not be seen. Lobby wreaked like cigarettes nonstop. Sparking electrical socket in room that burnt our charger. No offer to replace or even apologize

Lovely quiet room with ample free parking. Ideal position in this safe and pretty area. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again especially as it’s not too much of a drive after landing at the airport .

Room was amazing and the front desk was awesome! Ronaldo was our greeter and our checking out contact. He help us with getting tickets for Angle Island and made us feel welcomed. We will be encouraging our son to come and visit. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

This hotel was fine. No frills, nothing special, but nothing bad either. The late check in (4pm) was kind of annoying as normally at most hotels it's 3pm. We had nowhere to go as it was a holiday and everything nearby was closed, so we sat in the car and waited. The front desk person said they would call as soon as the room became available, but never got a phone call. I would also rate the front desk service about a C+. Call me old fashioned, but people that work in hospitality don't seem to understand that they should be hospitable to customers. He wasn't rude or anything, just sort of "there to do the job". The room was spacious and clean, but looked much fancier and nicer in the photos. We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that. The pool was filled with lots of frolicking young children, so we did not have a chance to swim as it was overflowing with kids. The room we were on was on the 1st floor, so the "balcony" was just a small space with a tiny table and 2 chairs, but if you sat on it you were basically on the same level as the main walkway. If anyone was going to the pool, they would walk by and basically see in your room (they had curtains, but it was still an odd layout). I would come here again as there are not many choices in Tiburon, but I will know what to expect. I would also try to get a room on the 2nd floor. I'm sure I paid a premium for the "balcony" and it was not private at all.

I used our stay for a composition retreat and the room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and I got a lot done! When I needed a break, it was conveniently located so we could walk downtown or to the marvelous grocery store. We will be back!

While this is not a luxury accommodation, it is an ideal place to stay if you want easy access to San Francisco but don't want to deal with city parking and traffic. Tiburon is charming with great restaurants to relax at after a long day in the city. It's an easy and scenic ferry ride into San Francisco. The property was pleasant and the staff very friendly. We will be back!

Lovely quiet room with ample free parking. Ideal position in this safe and pretty area. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again especially as it’s not too much of a drive after landing at the airport .

We had a 3 night stay here and enjoyed the walkability of the hotel, the pool and the cleanliness. The desk staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. The website is out of date - stating that there were bikes to rent but they had long discontinued that. We would have brought our bikes if we had known. The bed was fine but the pillows were very lumpy and hard. The staff was stingy about providing water for the room - only providing 2 bottles at check in - so we had to use tap water for our coffee in the morning. The hotel could provide more pamphlets and handouts about local activities. We only learned about a spectacular hike with 360 degree views from one of the local shops. The restaurant unfortunately didn’t open early enough for breakfast and closed too early for us to enjoy it.

Well located, walking you can go everywhere, to the ferry and downtown, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the service A1, the restaurant although expensive, the food and drinks delicious, the wings and fajitas 0 recommended. The only thing I recommend is that you don't order takeout. I ordered some Tortellini and when I opened them in the room, there were only 6, really very gourmet. But delicious.

We love the location of this hotel and the wonderful ambience of Barry Lodge. The rooms are in need of a renovation and the beds are old and uncomfortable. We did have the staff add another mattress pad in an effort to help with the comfort however, these mattresses do need to be replaced. The bar/restaurant is fantastic. Great food and beverage as well as the ambience. I would stay there again just for the location.

The Lodge at Tiburon was an average hotel. The room was very basic and not as clean as I would have liked (my son found a cheerio on the floor). The staff I came across were fine but there weren't many lingering about. The best thing about this hotel was the free parking as all other hotels we stayed at on our trip charged for parking. The pool area was small but ok to spend an hour or so at. The photo's on here do not reflect how the hotel actually looks.

⭐️⭐️ 2 Stars — Great Location, But the Rooms Need Serious Attention The only reason I’m giving The Lodge at Tiburon two stars instead of one is because the location is amazing and the outdoor ambience is beautiful. Unfortunately, once you step inside the room, it feels like you’ve traveled back in time—and not in a good way. If you’re looking for an authentic 1970s-themed hotel experience, this might be the place for you. The room felt extremely dated and in serious need of renovation. Even worse, there was mold in the shower and around the bathroom sink, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. It’s disappointing because this property has so much potential. The location and exterior atmosphere are fantastic, but the rooms simply don’t match. A beautiful setting can only carry a hotel so far. Until the rooms are renovated and the bathroom cleanliness issues are addressed, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. ⭐️⭐️ — And honestly, that second star belongs entirely to the location.

We had a really great stay here. Convenient location walking distance to Main Street Tiburon where we had the best dinner at Sam’s and the best breakfast at Salt and Pepper. Both Javier and Rolando at the front desk were super nice, helpful and gave great recommendations! The pool and hot tub were beautiful, loved the little poolside lounge beds. Beautiful property. Only suggestions to improve the guest experience would be to keep the pool area open until 10 and allow room charges from the bar/resraurant.
