Motel 6-Ukiah, CA - North

I stayed at this motel because they had the accommodations I was looking for. It was not comfortable. The step to get into the room was too high for me. I didn't have someone with me I would not have been able to get into the room. After walking around in my white socks, they were dirty. The stuff they used to clean the room was probably that Fabuloso. The smell was not pleasant. The bed was too hard as it hurt my hips and I had to try to find a way to get comfortable. I will not stay here again.

This place is in terrible shape, they charged $80……. $40 would be fair, won’t be back!

No running cold water. Sketchy people loitering. Staff very friendly and good to save on pet fee.

Easy on and off the freeway and plenty of food choices close by. The lady at check in was friendly and the lady at checkout refilled the coffee quickly for us. That’s where any niceties end. The hotel itself could use some serious upgrades. We saw the cleaning crew working on rooms as we left in the morning, but our room didn’t feel clean when we arrived. Stray hairs on the bed and the floor needed swept. Most older hotel rooms have a musty smell, but this was one of the worst and needed a thorough airing out. The walls were thin enough to hear our neighbor loudly stomping around all through the night. The bed was hard as a rock and the hot water in the showered started to cool off after just five minutes. All the other guests we saw in the morning, were hanging around outside and gave the place a homeless shelter vibe. We only needed a place to shower and sleep, this was sufficient, but we hope to never go back.

It was a good stay but too busy all through the night.
