Motel 6 Vallejo, CA - Napa Valley

Nice room for the price. Very clean. The enclosed parking lot seemed to always be watched. The 24-hour fast food across the street ended up being useful.

I felt unsafe that the main door to the room where in the back, but then I noticed that it was gated so we felt at ease.

The room is clean. It is next to grocery store. The hotel has the self-laundry with the price reasonable. Breakfast just has muffins and coffee.

Clean, as others say. There is a pool. Breakfast 6-10 coffee and prepackaged muffins, or mini donuts. Friendly staff

The managers are nice and the rooms are clean. And on the motel side you either geta porch or balcony but on the studio side you just get a nice room.

When arrived, front door was locked and had to ring to open. I found out because it is crime hazard area. There is trash all over, homeless walking throughout the property, people smoking, parking lots open in sketch place. Did not feel safe. The sink and the toilet move whenever you need to use it. Did not come with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, iron, ironing board, basic hotel amenities! The sliding door did not have another screen for protection, did not feel safe. Went to swim on day 2, and all of our towels were taken, we were staying for 3 days. My husband and son went to swim with the towels WE had to bring and I stayed to take a nap. But, that was interrupted when a made knocked at 3:00 PM to try to open the door and I answered and they asked if we need anything and I said yes towels and that’s when they finally brought some towels. The door does not come with “do not disturb” signs to put on the outside. Again, did not feel safe at this place at all.

Nicest motel 6 I have ever stayed at - private patio, pool, clean, majorly convenient to everything, exceptionally nice spa type shower.

We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting Six Flags - an ideal base. Comfortable room and beds, room size was good. Nice pool and was nice having the grocery store next door too.

Thought I'd made a horrible mistake when I first arrived - the area around the hotel felt pretty dodgy & unsafe and the hotel itself looked a bit rundown. Thankfully my room was a pleasant surprise - it was a good size, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was great. Only real complaint was the layout of the hotel - the pool's position made getting to my room a lot more difficult & convoluted than necessary and reduced the amount of available parking.

It was not exactly as shown the pictures, broken signage and damaged to exterior visible upon arrival. Neighborhood looks sketchy, but wasn’t as bad as it seemed. However still I wasn’t truly relaxed and was alert to any sounds. Room appeared clean. Towels clean adequate. Sheets clean pillows ok. Mattress wasn’t most comfortable but reasonable. Daily service ok inconsistent not predictable. No detail cleaning during stay I had to request the areas I needed addressed for my comfort. I did attempt to change hotels mid trip but it wasn’t an easy switch so I stayed. By far the staff was the best feature of this location, the service was excellent and staff friendly and accommodating. Coffee and a muffin was the only complimentary offering. More updating needed ie there was a huge gap under the room door the open to the outside and draft of cold air was present. Fridge and microwave in room was excellent condition.

Pretty decent for a Motel 6. Nice modern updates and the fridge/freezer was awesome. Just more attention needed to cleanliness. Dirty hand towel left on the sink when we walked in, one of the bath towels had something “red” on it and the floors were really dirty. Our socks were black after walking around. There was a suspicious bug in bathroom, probably came in from the gap under the door. Still one of the better Motel 6 we have stayed at. Loved Grocery store right behind hotel and Jack in the Box and coffee across the street

Stay away! Cockroaches everywhere.

As Motel 6 goes, this one is quite good. Decor is updated, rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are reasonably comfortable. The parking lot for the rooms on the back side is mildly sketchy, but not terrible. That is the main reason I'm not giving it 5 stars.

The hotel itself was quiet and felt safe, however, the people spray painting a truck in the parking lot behind the hotel made it feel a bit sketchy. Staff was fantastic! Welcoming and kind. The room was cleanish, but the bed was broken and sagged. It also smelled like cigarettes because of people smoking on the terraces. Overall, we slept well, but probably would not stay again.

Recently renovated and room was clean and convenient. However shower would not drain properly and tv reception was terrible.

The room is great , clean room , clean sheets and towels comfortable bed . Also has microwave and refrigerator. Great WiFi . The only thing is the neighboring rooms are smoking and some are smoking weed which we can smell it on the hallways and seeping thru the air vents

For the price or was a nice little motel. Clean rooms, beds were pretty hard, 6 out of 10 for comfort. Make sure you bring a sound machine or ear plugs, ther tons of outside noise and people walking the hallways at all hours.

Room was like an Echo Chamber, Mini Fridge didn’t work Given the Location, Room Darkening Curtains might be better to Block some of the Excessive Noise from Freeway Entrance

The stay was fine. Hotel was as expected. Gap in the bottom of the door allowed for outside noise, that was the only ‘issue’

AC worked very well. Asked for hair dryer since none in room. No breakfast, only coffee and sweet rolls. Conveniently located next to Grocery Outlet (walk over). An ok room for the price. Room had a refrigerator and microwave.

Second time staying here and for the intention it was fine but this last time we extended our stay past our original reservation to be accused the next day of not checking out on time. This resulted in personal items being touched, moved and removed… after countering the accusation thru the phone and restating repeatedly that it had been paid for the night before the employee found the new reservation. For clean-ish rooms in a questionable neighborhood with rooms with messed up locks, I don’t think there’ll be a third time if it can be helped.

The room was clean and comfortable. Horace, at the front desk, was great at check in and everyday that we saw him he waved and said hello. The staff did an excellent job in our room, clean towels and clean floor. Thank you!

We have stayed at this Motel 6 several times while visiting Discovery Kingdom. The rooms have always been nice, clean, and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and professional. After our last stay, there was a delay in getting our refund back, but GM Horace was great about getting the refund processed. Unfortunately, this part of Vallejo is in decline (way beyond the motel's control), but if you're OK with that, this place is still a good value.

Staff was excellent. Room was clean and great. First couple nights we stayed in a room too close to street noise but they happily moved us and it was much quieter. Very nice stay but avoid rooms at very front that face the street.

Best Motel 6 I've ever stayed at, friendly management Horace is amazing! Safe quiet and well managed they keep a close eye on everything there's no sketchy Behavior going on at this place. They make every guest feel at home during their stay. Even the housekeeping crew are all very friendly and make sure that they keep your room clean, neat and tidy.

The hotel was ok, but the location was scary.

This my second stay at this location. I had not stayed at a Motel 6 in years and years prior, but because it was remodeled I thought I give it a try as I only needed a place to lay my head overnight and want to economize. It served that purpose and the customer service is great. I did ask for a room close to the office as I was traveling alone - their idea of "close to the office" wasn't met as I was around the corner facing the lot of the liquor store and market, and on the first floor - but overall it was okay.

I liked the location of this Motel 6 because of the proximity to some of the places we were going in the area, however this location is also in a little sketchy of an area. At check in, my daughter came limping in from a severe burn and the attendant at the desk inquired if she was with us, I said yes and explained she was in a lot pain. Still, we got put on the second floor - and there isn’t an elevator. Three directions he gave us to our room were on the opposite side of where it was located. Later I went back down and moved my car next to the stairs that were just outside of our room. To no fault of the motel, this area is super noisy- just off the freeway and the parking lot between the motel and the grocery store seems to be a hang out for some nefarious looking folks. Also to no fault of the motel, we happened to get neighbors that literally yelled at each other ALL NIGHT. It was crazy. My daughter woke up crying because she heard the man threaten to shoot the women and the woman was crying and begging him not to. Oh, the room was okay, it looked very nice and was pretty clean and spacious but it had a really unique smell to it. My kids described it as when someone poops in the bathroom and then sprays a deodorizer that only masks the smell. And that didn’t go away. But it was a good enough room for the price.

It was better than your usual motel 6. Easy access off highway and an ok place to just stop for some sleep on your way somewhere although traffic and parking lot was loud.

Good location for Sonoma raceway but remember the traffic CA37 can get heavy. The heater display was missing tabs so, was having to go by 'trial and error' whether it was heating cooling or just the fan.

One of the nicer Motel 6’s I’ve been to in the past year - not so much the property itself, which is in a semi-sketchy area, but the room was modern, clean & comfortable. Would stay here again & would recommend it if you’re in the area.

Staff was nice. Easy, affordable place to stay the night. Right next to grocery store and a coffee stand across the street.

A really comfortable, stylish and safe stay. The refurbished room beats many others we have paid more for . Friendly and helpful staff , nice muffins for breakfast and very convenient for San Francisco ! The pool is a great way to relax after sightseeing.

The office and room were clean and welcoming. There was a sweet little balcony, fridge and microwave. I would have liked in-room coffee and shampoo and conditioner.

Horace was awesome! He is pleasant & made the check-in process easy. Front desk staff throughout our stay were nice. Our studio w/two queens were clean. The location is convenient - grocery store and places to eat are within walking distance (the adjacent Filipino/Hawaiian restaurant has delicious food!) Darkening curtains would be nice to have in the room. Otherwise, our first stay at a Motel 6 was a good experience. Thank you, Horace and staff!

Great stay. Pretty clean, and super convenient with a store in the parking lot and an amazing taco truck that comes in and out of the lot some nights.

For a motel six we were very pleasantly surprised. The recent rating that were good were right on target. A full fridge was awesome and the microwave and toaster and coffee pot were all a plus. The beds were good. I slept very well. The water was hot. I would stay again and recommend. They even had some nice muffins in the lobby for breakfast.
