The property was lovely, but the amenities are wide-spread over the property. They do provide golf cart rides to get to the lake, aquatic center, and gym, but it’s not convenient to call and wait for a ride to and from. We were very busy with all our planned activities and didn’t spend much time on property, so we did not get to enjoy the amenities much. The $40/room/night was a bit steep considering we only got to swim once for an hour. The indoor pool closes at 8pm, which is early when you’re touring the area all day.

Beautiful resort and in golf course property. Enjoyed our stay so much. We extended a couple days and it was easy with management adding to our stay.Had a room at the Mountain View and it was gorgeous. Enjoyed the athletic Center with the adult only pool and hot tub.. Will stay here again.

Beautiful property overlooking the Broadmoor valley. We played at the aquatic center pools with the grandkids and had fun on the diving platforms and slides. In the morning we picked up lattes in the lobby. The beds were particularly comfy!

The resort was a great location of south Colorado Springs area and the location is around a lot of attractions within a 10 to 20 minute drive. Restaurant options are limited however there’s a lot of great places to dine and coffee shops within just a mile of the resort, so plenty to choose from. The aquatic center by the golf course clubhouse is really great. They have an adult pool and hot tub only. They also have a beach area to walk on and to enjoy the day. Definitely will go back.

The property was clean and well kept but there are hidden fees that aren’t disclosed until check in. They now charge $25 for early check in- anything before 4pm. They also charge $20/ day for parking. The outdoor pool is not heated so if you are going outside the summer months the only pool option for kids is the aquatic center down the hill that was not impressive. The resort staff was incredibly polite and always willing to assist. If you have the option to include the breakfast buffet when booking- I highly encourage it. Ours was an additional $32 add on. If we paid at the resort it would have been $85 for 2 adults and 2 kids. They had a ton of options and the food was good. The wait staff was excellent. Overall I think we would have been just as happy with a middle/ high end hotel vs. the resort and saved some $$$.

The amenities were great. We enjoyed all of the water activities. The views from the room were fantastic. The only down side was they didn’t have enough staff to clean to rooms so towels, trash, coffee mugs etc weren’t replenished daily. This did not meet our expectations for a high end hotel resort. Beyond that it was very family friendly with lots to do and plenty of places to lounge in the shade by the pool.

Beautiful views from the main lobby/restaurant area. Our room (275) had a beautiful view but it was very dirty. Stains on carpet, balcony door hasn’t been cleaned in a long while, the blackout curtain didn't work, our bathroom was very dirty, some questionable stuff smeared on the walls, the tub wasn’t draining properly, the toilet didn’t flush well. Upon check in they failed to inform us that there will be an event going on that and that entire resort will be blocked by secret agents/police. After long time out doing activities we drove to the resort and couldn’t get to our room, finally a nice officer directed us to where to go and told us what was going on. The aquatic center was a long walk and it was dirty especially the outdoor one.

We were put in the Clear Creek. I'm not sure how old the building is, but it was wood framing which was fine. The problem was we were on the first floor and the room above's floor system squeaked like crazy. I'm not sure why the occupants moved around so much, but the floor was constantly squeaking everywhere they walked. My wife also found bugs and spiders in the bathroom area.

Good location. Room and bathroom could have been a little cleaner. We had a few issues with the staff while we were there, but nothing that ruined our stay. Seemed like they were short handed and had poor communication. Great place for kids of all ages.

We liked the staff and they were very nice and professional. We ate at Elevation the first day and were not impressed so we ate else where the rest of the stay. Our room was not cleaned well the first two days but they cleaned well after we called and complained.

The bed sheets and the curtains were dirty and stained A/C did not blow cold air. Room 192 felt like they just didn’t care so the through you in the side. Overall everything was perfect especially the workers in the buffet area. I will come back but not stay in that room something more luxury

The pool and breakfast areas are nice. This is an older hotel that might have had some remodel but rooms are older, ac doesn't work by control so it was hot and cold and our bed sheets were dirty (blood stains) so I don't even know how they can say it was clean. We did tell the front desk and they gave us a credit to use at the resort but I would not stay there again.

The room was outdated and had poorly repaired/fixed items such as picture frames in the bathroom. The repaired seals around the towel racks were cracking and the bathroom door had rusting hinges. The stairs to our room were not level and created an uncomfortable feeling of unsteadiness. There were two tiny trash cans for a room with two Queen beds. That said, the beds were reasonably comfortable, and the room was cleanish. The biggest issue was the noise. There was a dog that continued to bark and children were screaming outside on the balcony about very inappropriate bodily functions. As a result, I called guest services and no one answered so I had to drive back up to the front desk to ask them to address the problem. Being an outdated room, the noise was not buffered so late into the evening we could hear a lot of walking/stomping above and outside the door as people came and left. The "thin walls" also made us uncomfortable when we could hear the intimate nature of our neighbors' activities. As a rule, if we can hear clearly then our neighbors can hear clearly. During our weekend stay there was also a consistent noise that sounded like someone was attempting to open our door with the wrong key. As we were packing up to check out, we discovered this noise was the freezer of the mini fridge. I chose this resort for our anniversary weekend because of its reputation. I was highly disappointed and even considered leaving early for other accommodations.

The property is really nice. It is hard to beat the view, however for the price I would just expect a little bit more from the room. It was very basic, the beds were adequate but nothing you wouldn't expect from any hotel, and nothing that you'd say beats a Holiday Inn Express.

Hyatt review This is a resort pretending to be something it isn’t. Look, complaining about an expensive hotel while people struggle to feed their families feels extremely disingenuous. However I don’t pretend to be anything that I am not, and this hotel does not subscribe to the same philosophy. And I absolutely, positively, hate wasting money when people insist that I’m receiving good value for that money. The staff, while friendly, knows nothing about the resort they work on without the help of a manager. The bar staff disappears without warning and, after waiting 30 minutes, I have yet to find out when they return. Ordered a drink (old fashioned), got a really bad drink (idk what it was) from a manager who had nothing to do with food and bev, and then they argued with me when I said they served me a drink I did not order. The management is too busy to deal with complaints, and they never returned my call to the front desk describing my complaints. Nor did they respond to my complaints on Facebook messenger which is absurd. Why have the page if you don’t monitor it? It takes 45 minutes to receive a bottle of wine from room service when you are a 5 minute trip from the hotel bar, and you might just get a nice room temperature white with no ice. They will however, describe to you where to find and how to procure said ice. The air conditioning is dated and extremely noisy, although I suppose you could just shut it off for a more pleasant view of the nearby Range Rovers drivi

I was most impressed by the staff, especially Housekeeping as they texted to me that I left the do not disturb sign on the door and they were wondering if I wanted the room made up which I did of course. Check in people were friendly and helpful and the checkout person at 5 o’clock in the morning was cheerful and very helpful. All in all a marvelous resort hotel.

Hyatt has done an acceptable job of updating many of the facilities at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. However, one does wonder when the next step of updating staff at this facility will happen, and the characteristic uniformity associated with Hyatt quality will be employed. Whether from laziness or general negligence, from the front desk staff to housekeeping there is a general sense of disorder/failure in management and training. No one knows protocol/no one is providing employees with consistent answers to questions/and the resort can feel a bit like it’s being maintained for the land value later (clean towels in the bathrooms, but six different patterns… fresh paint, but aged facilities.) Hyatt has its work cut out, old staff of Cheyenne resort need to be let go and new/seasoned employees of Hyatt need to be employed… consistency in everything from linens to hours of operation to communication standards between staff and guests would be nice. There also seems to be a substantial disconnect between the staff and third-party booking agencies, such as Expedia. When you book with Expedia, you provided a rather lengthy list of additional charges that can be levied at the property, but I have never had a resort attempt to maximize on this potential by charging us nearly $200 more than our expected on site premium. The manager was somewhat off base explaining this attempt, but a refund of additional charges was issued. I will probably stay again, but Hyatt needs to step up.

Check in was so easy and the room was comfortable, clean and had nice furnishings. The entire property was clean including the pool and hot tub. We tried to get dinner onsite, but not one staff that we made eye-contact with would seat us after 10 minutes of waiting, so we left and went somewhere off site.

Service was amazing. Food at elements was ok.. definitely price. My salmon was dry and overcooked. My friends rib sandwich was very overlooked. The breakfast buffet was not good. If i were the chef i would never have put the gravy for the biscuits and gravy out that way. It was expensive and sub par. The server also did not know what screwdriver was and said they couldn't make it. But was able to put together a mimosa? Otherwise the service was wonderful. Just dont eat at the hotel.

I booked this property although there were some bad reviews. After the stay, I was glad we decided to stay here. It is a charming resort with nice facilities and pools. The room was spacious, the staff was helpful and friendly. The brekfast options were amazing and in a restaurant with beautiful views. The lady who served us remembered us every morning and knew exactly what we like. We would come back here any time...
