When we arrived an hour after check-in time, the front desk staff wasn’t sure if there was a room available that was clean and ready to check-in to. Eventually, we were able to check in after waiting a bit. During one of the nights of our stay, we noticed there was a ceiling leak above our shower as another shower was being used in the room above. An employee came to check out the room. They offered us a 2 queen bed room as another king bedroom wasn’t available. No care for mentioning any kind of refund nor offered to credit us for the poor condition of the room prior to checking in. They also did not have an emergency maintenance staff to come check on the leak during the night. The morning we checked out, there was no knowledge about our leak from the front desk (meaning lack of communication to management nor the person on duty). No apology from any staff while checking out. The hotel was apparently renovated a year earlier but there was still the problem with our king room. For the condition of this hotel, breakfast also should have been free instead of charging. The hotel is in prime location to the Air Force Academy and the Promenade shops so this is a positive and the check-in/check-out process is simple so there are a few pros. Other than that, would not recommend.

A few maintenance issues were noted. A loose hand rail in the pool A leaky ac unit in the room When reported to staff, they said they would take care of it.. Staff was very friendly and check in was easy. I reserved last minute and reserved an incorrect date but the girl handled it without hesitation

We have stayed at just about every property near USAFA. Just found this one - best one. Large, clean area for gathering downstairs. Rooms were a nice size. Bar/restaurant/snacks downstairs. Two thumbs up.
