My kids were pretty disappointed when we got there to find the pool was empty. That was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. They should have said something about that on their site. Also the web site shows a much bigger breakfast then there really is. The room was clean and pretty comfortable. The AC worked but wouldn't shut off so I had to wake up a turn it off then back on when it got too hot.

Had a sun facing room. Air conditioning was not turned on until we got into the room. Super hot and uncomfortable. Took hours to cool down. Pool was closed. We were on the 2nd floor. When you got to the top of the steps you felt like you were going to go through the old plywood to the concrete ground. Should not be open until they are done renovating.

Dirtiest parking lot I’ve been in for years. Laundry facilities also dirty. Room was for a person in a wheelchair, so carpet outside the bathroom was always wet. Carpet smelled distinctly, if faintly of cigarette smoke. Bed was ok.

Pros: check in was quick and easy, clean enough to sleep and shower in, affordable, ice machine worked, and centrally located. Cons: bed was rock hard, there was nowhere to put the soap while showering except on the floor, AC unit was very loud, the pool was filled in with dirt and there was no mention of this on their website, continental breakfast was a huge let down, and the exterior of the property itself needs to be thoroughly picked up and cleaned of all trash.

I can not give even one star for this hotel. Housekeepers didn't even clean the diarrhea from the previous customer. Linens not clean, you can see stains and hairs on the bedsheets, pillowcases. So we requested to change the room. Then they took us to another room. That room was clean, but someone smoked in that room ( supposedto be smoke free). When we requested another room, they said that they can only refund. Next day morning we got cigarette smell on our clothes. Breakfast so simple ...dirty sugar conainer & creamer container

We arrived an hour earlier than check-in time and were able to check in. Room was spacious but the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned well. Still dirty shoe prints. The AC was a nightmare. It was so noisy, we had to shut it off to be able to sleep. Sounded like a mixture of hail, popcorn popping and aluminum foil being crumbled. Some WD-40 will go a long way. Breakfast was good.

For the price you really can't beat what this place has to offer. Location is perfect, the fact you get a full room and breakfast and parking in front of rooms is great. Fridge in my room hummed loudly at night so bring ear plugs. Staff was super nice - for drive through trips you can't beat this price.

We were not able to check in to the hotel because of the bad management and rude front desk person. The man at the front desk was the rudest person I have ever encountered in the my past forty years of staying in hotels. The hotel cancelled breakfast and did not offer any compensation for this. The facilities were not those pictured and describe on the Expedia page. It was in much worse shape and the amenities were much more limited than described. The hotel's page amounts to fail advertising which is far below the Expedia standard. The man working the front desk cussed me out multiple times when I complained about the situation. Finally, he did cancel my two reservations. I hope Expedia will refund my money. The man working the front desk should be fired immediately and this hotel should be removed from Expedia.

It was a perfect location to spend a night after visiting the snow covered Mesa Verde national Park. Well located in the town of Cortez and walkable to some dining options, Safeway and Walgreens. The receptionists were kind and helpful. Though it was Thanksgiving morning they were attentive to our needs and gave us pointers about the area. Facilities are a bit dated but functional, plenty of amenities, very quiet despite being on the main highway. Wifi connection was good all night. Breakfast was continental plus eggs, nicer than just pastries. The only negative to mention is a few hairs from the previous occupants left stuck to the bathtub.

Worst experience. First of all, it mentioned that breakfast included when I am booking on Expedia. When I was checking in guy said no breakfast and we don’t know why Expedia mentioned that. The room was terrible. Blankets smells bad. Door stopper broken. There is exhaust in bathroom. You get cold air( I stayed in winter time) and traffic noise because of door gaps.Motels are far better that this.

Make sure to check that they actually have the complimentary breakfast available. It was one of the reasons we booked here. But when we went down to get breakfast, they said they only serve breakfast in the busier Summer months. Make sure to check that they actually have the complimentary breakfast available. It was one of the reasons we booked here. But when we went down to get breakfast, they said they only serve breakfast in the busier Summer months. The hotel is conveniently located on the main road across the street from Walmart and other shops. The hotel was clean but older. They advertised “free breakfast” but it was just toast and coffee.

checked in at 1am, had to wait outside over 5 mins for the night audit guy to show up. Check out time is 10am, couldn’t get a late check out, no breakfast (even though it’s advertised with breakfast included) carpet in room is full of stains, bathroom is outdated.

First, I arrived shortly after 10:00 pm and discovered the office was closed, so I was forced to use an electronic kiosk talking virtually to people most likely from India and all they could tell me is that my reservation could not be found. After confirmation emails, numbers, names, etc., they could do nothing for me. They wanted me to cancel the reservation they could not find and charged me approximately $80 more than my original reservation. Finally, an employee walked by and said they would help. After multiple searches, it was discovered that another employee had checked someone else in under my name. I was almost given the keys to open their door to get to the room that I had booked. Thankfully, the employee caught it and reassigned us rooms that had two full beds instead of the king beds that I had booked. The floors and baseboards were all filthy. It took over an hour to check in after long frustrations. I will never book with Econolodge again because they do not hire people to help check people in after 10:00 pm, rather they pay people in foreign countries to deal with checking people into a motel on the other side of the world! They were useless to problem solve. It's crazy!

The check-in process was great. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was too small. (Had to open the shower and step into it to get the bathroom door closed). With that said…the shower was great! Very noisy property. 2 vehicles alarms going off didn’t help. The TV in our room did not work - however, as we are not much on watching TV it didn’t matter. This was an OK overnight stay. I would not stay here for multiple nights.
