Best Western Ptarmigan Lodge

Location can’t be beat, great price for the area. We stay here often, they are pet friendly and can easily walk the dogs around lake. It’s an older property so somewhat dated but the beds are comfy The staff is not the best but if you get past that all is good.

Although this property is dated, as well as the rooms, it was one of the cleanest I have stayed in in a long time. Needs upgrades....no charging stations, just plug ins. also the floors squeak really quite badly, mine as well as the one above me, so assuming they all need an upgrade. Staff friendly, breakfast good for a free one. Beautiful views of Lake Dillon, walkable to the amphitheater.

We stay here evrytime we head to Denver. Great place.

The proximity to the lake was great, but the rooms were freezing, literally 58 and the heaters didn't work. We found a space heater and used that. Said it was non smoking, but the whole hotel smelled of smoke. It's literally a Super 8 by the lake. Not worth the money.
