Extended Stay America Select Suites - Denver - Tech Center South

I got mean mugged by the front desk attendant when I came in the building. Harassed multiple times about cleaning the room before my checkout time. Dirty bathroom in the room. Unpainted drywall patches all throughout the room Pool looked permanently closed. And that was the only reason I chose to stay here.

This was a family trip and kids wanted a outdoor pool. The pool hadnt been touched all summer, leaves collecting at the bottom. The tub in the bath tub looked like a mop bucket was emptied and never cleaned out. We had no bedding for the pull out couch. The mattress was torn and stained. When we asked for bedding we were given a sheet. We asked a 2nd night and was told "people steal the blankets and they have no extra bedding." The 3rd night a different employee Eric was working and he gave us a blanket. It was a place to sleep and overall I did feel safe, but thats about it very disappointed that hotels.com would have this as 6/10. I contected hotels.com about getting a refund and going somewhere else but they never got back to me either. False advertisement the pool hasnt been running all year and thats the main reason we booked this hotel.

This property advertises full kitchens but when you get to your room there is nothing in the kitchen….no cookware, no plates, no glasses…every drawer and cabinet is empty. When you turn on the tv, the hotel channel says if you need kitchenware, it’s free just ask at the front desk. At the front desk they will sell you all that for around $100. Skip this property unless you like the smell of smoke and pot.

Hotel was clean. They do not provide any dishes/utensils/pots and pans in the kitchenette. They also do not provide housekeeping without an additional fee, and charge you $30 to take out your trash. Provided 2 towels for 3 guests and seemed annoyed when I asked for extra.

Before I begin I realize we are in a staffing shortage now and it\'s hard to find committed and competent staff. Training must be an issue as well and language with customers may be part of it as well. But our experience was tough at best. I was informed there would be no breakfast, the pool wasn\'t available and the desk would not be manned. The room had no dishes but we could BUY the use of them at the time of needed. The kitchenette there were no knobs on the doors to open them. The couch was in terrible shape and there were no accent tables to set anything on (maybe theft was an issue of concern. The furniture was poor quality and rocked so setting things down like a glass (which was also not available) was not an option. The toilet paper availability was another issue and since no one was available at the front desk we were forced to go to Walgreens and buy toilet paper, soap, and shampoo and rinse and plastic silverware. I might suggest leaving some of these supplies at the front desk and someone available to supply these or a sign "be back in 5-10 minutes. The last straw was the final day we were there when we were loading our car and the "key card" would not let us back in the room. The nice young man tried 3 times to try to reload the card and asked us if we were sure this was our room (???). Finally opening the door for us. At this point we propped the room open and I stayed there while my husband loaded the rest of our things. We won\'t use this chain.

Nothing special and practically no amenities. (no silverware, cups, Make sure to bring your own soap and shampoo/conditioner. No Breakfast either.)

Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Stove in room was not working, reported it to 3 different staff members. On day 4 of 4 we finally got moved to a different room, then the microwave did not work.

One and done Supposef to be nonsmoking but room had that odor. One bar of soap to wash with. Cabinets are cheap with paper coverage peeling off. No coffee maker in room. I guess this is what you get for around one hundred dollars in Denver. Tjought at least there would be a vial for shampoo and a coffee maker. Spend a little more and be more comfortable. Probably wont have a bunch of cigarette buuts around the entry.

Room was nasty, kitchen sink had some black mess in it. I was scared to take a shower or use the sink. Room and sheets had a weird smell to it. Carpet had stains, and it was just a mess.

The Extended Stay is a great hotel. Everything here is great. The staff is wonderful. They make sure you get taken care of and the hotel is always clean. Thank you Extended Stay for your stay and I love this hotel. Everyone should come to this hotel and visit.

This is a very good extended stay option. Staff was very good, friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Nice layout. Easy access from I-25. I would stay again.

Room was dirty, old shoes left in the room under the bed from previous occupant. The door lock on the inside was broken. The tub didn’t drain and the smoke detector was taken apart.

Everything is outstanding I recommend everyone to come to this hotel. It’s a great hotel and the rooms are nice and everything is clean.

I've never been so worried about staying at a hotel in my life. I don't live that far away and I wish I had simply driven home. Noisy A/C, holes in the walls, not 1 mirror in the entire room or bathroom, TV would not work, middle of bed sagged, sheets were badly worn, dusty (carpet was torn up in hallway and dirty was tracking everywhere). I guess I'm lucky there were no bed bugs!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION...EVER!

Was a good stay and the staff was very nice which is always good. Stayed for two nights and nobody bothered us and we enjoyed our time there.

When we arrived in our room it smelled strong of Marijuana. We went to the front desk reported the smell and requested another room. The receptionist acted like he was surprised so he went to investigate himself. He came back and told me I was wrong and that it did not smell like marijuana. I know for a fact what marijuana smells like. He gave us a different room and the TV was so dark we could hardly see the picture. Towels were not changed out (as were requested). In the morning there is no one at the front desk.

This is a very good extended stay option. Staff was very good, friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Nice layout. Easy access from I-25. I would stay again.

AC did not work. WiFi did not connect. Main overhead light did not work. No wastebasket in room. Host could not offer suggestions for dining in area. Wont stay there again.

Friendly employees and front desk, easy to book

The service desk lacked professionalism. Upon arrival I was told there were no rooms available, but could upgrade for a few for an available room. The room was unacceptably dirty and had a foul odor. If I wasn't so exhausted I would have demanded a refund that night.

The nice young man tried 3 times to try to reload the card and asked us if we were sure this was our room (???). Finally opening the door for us. At this point we propped the room open and I stayed there while my husband loaded the rest of our things. We won\'t use this chain.

I love this hotel staff here is wonderful. They make sure you’re very much taken care of and everything around. The hotel is easy to get to thank you Extended Stay. The rooms are nice and the property is always clean.
