They were resealing bathtubs so it stunk of chemicals and we had to move to three different rooms before one didn't stink terribly. Hot tub was out of order and the pool was super cold. Would not recommend.

Paint was peeling off the walls in bathroom. Place needs a maintenance person. Toilet handle fell off after one use. Pool was 45° and not circulating. Pump room door has no lock and was open, unattended and I popped my head in. Pool pump was off, pool and hot tub chemicals were completely off. No information or noticed the pool was not in use and key car worked to get in. I had mentioned it to the front staff and was told over so sorry thank you for letting us know, again no closure of the pool continue to let guest use, which I do not think anyone else wanted to use at the time because was cold as ice and murky. My 7yr old son said “dad, let’s not come back” breakfast was good, grate service. Food was hot and fresh.

We were coming out of the mountains after a few days of camping. I chose this location because it was the only one showing a hot tub and pool, my husband a I both have back issues. On arrival the pool was closed and when we used the hot tub the jets wouldnt function. The reviews for this location were good but it is not accurate as there are several areas where maintenance is lacking. The staff was friendly, helpful and apologetic.

Good clean older hotel. Had a few things that needed attention but they weren’t detrimental. Just a toilet lever was a little temperamental and the heater unit knobs were temperamental as well. Overall pleased with the stay. It was clean the pool and spa where a good as well.

Guest laundry facilities broken. Had to go to laundromat at night with no outside lighting and spent $27.00 out-of-pocket to wash and dry clothes. Was never reimbursed. Room was not cleaned during stay. Trash bags received from front desk did not fit trash cans in room.

Staff, as always, are lovely. However, the room was a disappointment. Firstly, gnat type flies emerged from the sink drain each time the water was run in said sink. Secondly, the toilet did not want to flush; holding the handle down for a count of 15 was the minimum to achieve flush. The dresser cabinet handle was broken and dangling. One of the bedside table lamps flickered wildly. While the bathroom appeared to have been cleaned, there was a used bath towel and used wash cloth hanging over the shower curtain rod. Finally, the bed in the room was incredibly hard and uncomfortable. This was a stark difference from my previous experience. Breakfast was still good and, as previously stated, the staff is, truly, lovely.

Older hotel located conveniently for hospital access. Wouldn't have minded hotel age but the carpet in our room was very stained. Bathroom floor still had hair on it and even a penny which you'd think would be noticeable to housekeeping. Also had a dirty towel hanging on the back of bathroom door.

Not a place to stay! Very worn with big lack of maintenance. Window in room was cracked. Door security latch was missing. Outlet did not have a plate. Food found behind bed. Sheet stsined. Breakfast was fine. Bathroom clean.reported all issues to front desk.

The hotel is clean and quiet. The staff we came in contact with were courteous and friendly, The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The negatives are mostly minor and aesthetic: The carpet in the hallway and stairs needs replacement ; it’s worn and stained in some places. The shower curtain in our bathroom also needs replacing, the once-white fabric is dinghy and yellowed. The faucet over the sink has come loose from the countertop and needs to be resealed. The toilet needs a new handle and/or flushing mechanism; it keeps running unless you keep jiggling the handle. Little refreshes that would go a long way.

It is shocking to me that this hotel has been rated as high as it is. There was something crusty and white on the bedskirt, the furniture was broken with handles hanging off, walls were marked up, stains on the carpet, curtain broken and hanging from bracket. Giving two stars for clean sheets, hot water, and the woman at the desk moved us to another room when I reported the state of the first room. Second room still had stains on the floor and walls were dirty. This stay for one night came to $125 with fees and I wouldn’t pay half that to stay at this place. Very disappointed.

This place could use a little updating/good cleaning. The beds were ok. Breakfast was great! The staff member who worked the breakfast on 6/26/2025 kept the breakfast area spotless, cleaner than the rest of the hotel. She was also friendly and attentive to breakfast buffet. The best part of the stay for us was breakfast.

Very moderate hotel. Dated, worn in places. Carpet needs replacing. Furniture worn, curtains were ripped and broken- in both rooms- and we moved from one to another the second night to try and get a quieter spot. Needs an overhaul for sure. Loud door slamming and you can hear people above you. We stayed here because it’s convenient to our son’s place, but i don't think we will do so again. It’s just not that nice. Woman at desk accommodated our desire to live but was also somewhat argument which was unnecessary.betas wasn’t overly friendly. It all could be much better.

We got to the hotel and the pool was closed, which wasn’t noted on the Expedia website. Then we got to our room and the air conditioning control unit was broken. It was probably 80 degrees in the room. It’s small and dingy. Fine if you are a hiker just going to sleep and shower.

Our television did not work. We called the front desk to ask for help, and they hung up on us. So my daughter went to the front desk to ask for help. A nice man came, but was unable to fix our TV. We were looking forward to watching a show before bed. We also wanted to watch the news in the morning.

Pool area was not accessible due to maintenance and bathroom was small, also there was no thermostat to control the temperature of the room during our stay and house keeping kept trying to come in even when we had our do not disturb sign on the door. Luckily we were up getting ready to head downstairs for breakfast already when we noticed someone was trying to open our door. We did not care for this and let the front desk know , after that we were not bothered by housekeeping anymore.

Room was clean and in order. Great front desk staff. Polite, friendly and professional. Complimentary lobby coffee fresh and hot. Shuttle service right on time as requested. Eateries nearby within walking distance as well as major grocery and Walmart. Bathroom shower getting tired and can patch only so many times.

The front desk employee was not very welcoming. You were lucky to get three words out of them. They never greeted you when you come in or even look up at you. They were also inconsistent with information. I asked if it was possible for a late check out and one employee immediately said they do not do that. I thought that was weird that they do not even consider it, because most hotels will see how many new guests were going to check in. So i asked another desk employee, on a different shift and they said that we could have a late check out. The property was convenient and close to everything and the breakfast was good. There were several different options. Overall the stay was pleasant but the front desk could be a little better.

For what I had paid for the property I was not entirely impressed. Room wasn’t ready when we arrived and the hotel itself is a bit outdated as well as musky. The front desk person was not very hospitable but it was very easy to see she was also the only staff and trying to juggle many things at once. The area around is safe and beautiful. The small town of gunnison has a small downtown shopping area and locals were very welcoming and fun too. The breakfast at this hotel was phenomenal. The hotel felt very safe.

We were promptly move to a different room on check in when the AC was not functioning in the first room. However, the controls on the AC Unit in the second unit were broken as well. The staff skipped our room service after the 3rd night of our stay. No bath linins and beds weren't made. We left early and came in late that day so there was not good reason. Bed linins didn't matter becuase they had been changed the day before.

Had to wait over 45 minutes to check in because the front desk person was doing the airport shuttle. After a long day and being 9 at night this was totally unacceptable. The hotel is in need of repairs for sure. The bathroom light squeaked so loud you couldn’t have it on. Carpet completely wore out. Continental breakfast was good
