The hot tubs were green with so much chlorine in them that we had to get out because it was burning our skin, they were leaking. Orange juice machine was broken. there was a blood stain on my sheets. Will not stay there again!!

The website said that they offer shuttle service to and from the airport. However, they wouldn’t answer their phone - even after I had called the day before and talked to the desk clerk who promised that he would be there until 11:00. He was there, but we called for 40 minutes and finally paid a shuttle service $22 each to take us there. The next morning he was away from the desk all through our breakfast. We finally asked another hotel guest to take us the short distance to the airport. Very frustrating. Also the place has 2 stories, but no elevator!

One hot tub did not work and the other was so filthy that it was probably a health hazard. The chair in the room was broken causing you to sit tilted forward. The plate rotator in the microwave was broken. Much of the furniture was marred or broken. The room was in overall poor condition. I did not like having to check in with a virtual attendant and would not stay here again because of this one issue. The masked required signs should be removed or the cleaning staff should where masks.

There was a metal piece of the bed frame sticking out from under the bed that cut my child. The water when showering was ice cold. It took a long time to be helped by staff to be checked in and out. The staff were not helpful and acted inconvenienced when having to help customers. The vending machine was completely empty. Trash cans were overflowing. There were holes in the carpets in the room and in the hallways. There is no elevator so everything has to be carried upstairs to the rooms.

Booked a king and got two queens. The place is a little run down and older, so noise from adjacent rooms was louder. Maid service was good. No elevator, had to carry luggage up the steps.

clock-(radio?)_non functional security clip(sliding bar) broken (ball part on door missing mattress - way too soft - automatically roill into center - hard time to get back out of inter-net. can do 90% of stuff online can receive e-mail can not sent e-mail. server can not be foiund message several times - other times error occurred tried mhy normal 3-mail - tried domcast.net login e-mail - tried yahoo.com e-mail. none woked all receive - none will send. (macintosh laptop) vending machine - sodas-snaks etc broken - (??emopty??) took money for purchase told to make another selection - none of which worked kept money inserted too room fridge over effective -froze everything overnight

Excellent value for the price! Stayed here two weekends in a row as an affordable option to pricey in-town Crested Butte. Loved the hot tubs!! Great water pressure and all the TV channels. Bring ear plugs due to the very rare airport noise. Beds are really firm. Some rooms are cleaner than others. Hotel in disrepair in places and not the cleaneat carpets but what do you expect for $70 per night. We will definitely stay here again.. can't beat the price, the free hot breakfast and the hot tubs!!!

It's difficult to get hold a person at front desk, but very friendly. No elevators, stairs would be quite inconvenient for elderly folks. lobby is very small, join next to a small\r crowded breakfast room. breakfast is acceptable for the price of the hotel. The rooms could use a update.

The sheets and bed were clean, but unfortunately the bathroom had a very strong chemical smell. We initially assumed it was some sort of disinfectant, but lasted the whole stay and the bathroom was not well cleaned. The shower and sink had not been cleaned and hair was covering the shower wall. The walls are thin and I was clearly able to hear someone in the next room snoring all night. It had a cheap motel feel, but for a more expensive price. There are better value places to stay

We woke up on the last morning of our 2 night stay with bug bites. After searching for what could have caused them, we found bed bugs in the room. We took a picture of the bugs and showed it to the front desk. Gentleman at the front desk said we must have taken that picture from another hotel. Then he proceeded to blame the bugs on us for having takeout food containers in the room overnight. He initially refused to give us any sort of refund but after a call to Expedia he reluctantly refunded one of the nights. This was the second stay at this hotel after a long hiatus due to bugs and unsanitary conditions the last time we stayed there. We gave it a second chance hoping conditions would be better but that just doesn't seem to be the case. We would suggest sleeping in a tent versus staying at this hotel again.

We actually didn't stay. There were bedbugs and stains all over the beds. We got a refund and cancelled our reservation and left.

Ruined and filthy carpet, shower faucet was a coming out of the wall, the safety dead bolt on the door was broken off, the ceiling was wet with a water leak, the window screen was broken and hanging off the window. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

The property was old and rundown. The rooms were also very dated and not very clean. Or is a lot of hair in the bathtub drain. The property managers were nice and helpful, but they are definitely better places to stay in Gunnison.

We found bedbugs in our bed when we woke up the next morning. Check in and check out were annoying because there is an automated system rather than somebody staffing the front desk. On check out, it wouldn't connect, so I had to call the hotel, then somebody came out so I could report the bedbugs.

This Days Inn was not so good. The conditions were poor. The room had holes in the walls. The window locks were broken off and you could not lock the windows. The bathroom fixtures were loose. The worst part was the smell. The room was overly scented with a chemical flower smell as if trying to hide something. It may have been the room heater. When I turned it on, it smelled very bad so I left it off for the night.

Check in seemed to take a while, the WiFi is not good, the channels/tv are outdated, the walls are thin and I had to listen to an hour of my next door neighbors conversation. The rest of the hotel seems pretty empty, so I don’t know why I have to share a wall with anyone. I did appreciate having a mini fridge and microwave in the room but no vending machine or anything to drink or snacks whatsoever. If I was staying for more than one night, I would go somewhere else.

There was urine in the toilet, and a smelly bathroom until we had run the fan for awhile. I have never seen such a bad bathroom in a hotel before. The tub had a lot of soap scum, and the sink had a chip out if it. On the plus side, the person who checked us in was very friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Older property near industrial area and airport. No elevator! Ask for a first floor room if you don't like climbing stairs. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I slept well with earplugs in - necessary because the walls are thin. Having said all that, the price was right for the property and the staff was friendly. All in all, a good hotel to sleep in but not much else.

Basic hotel but very clean and friendly staff. Needs a little bit of upkeep and perhaps some sound proofing (e.g doors between rooms and to hall) to make it more comfortable.

Hotel was a little rundown. The room was clean but small. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was a problem - it kept turning off and on during the night disturbing our sleep. Breakfast was sparse. Hotel grounds were weedy and trashy. The whole bottom floor was rented out to construction workers. For the price it was a disappointment.

A start of the year stay for family event. The hotel was quiet this time of year. There was excellent wi-fi service and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast one morning was good with hot food available, the other day there were microwavable breakfast sandwiches available. First off, theu charged 193 for one night. Its was a single queen rm that had just enough room to walk around the bed. The bathroom was so small that for me, a skinny white dude, was shoulder to shoulder with the door and shower. I felt like i was packed in there like a sardine.

We found bedbugs in our bed when we woke up the next morning. Check in and check out were annoying because there is an automated system rather than somebody staffing the front desk. On check out, it wouldn't connect, so I had to call the hotel, then somebody came out so I could report the bedbugs.

I paid $210 for a terrible experience. I was put into a handicapped room next to the lobby, it was loud and we heard everything going on outside our room. The man working the front desk wasn't at all friendly at check in and the same man was down right rude at check out. Our tv didnt work and our shower head didnf work.

I told the front desk clerk that I was a retired disabled vet and I had my service dog with me. He asked me for "proof" that she was a service dog and I informed him that hotels and other places of business are not to ask. I told him I would like a top floor room (only 2 levels anyway) because I have "issues" with noises above me, especially at night. He said pets were only allowed on the first floor. I pointed out that my Golden was not a pet, but a service animal. He refused to accommodate my request so we stayed on the first floor and was bothered several times during the night. We left after one night even though we had paid for two nights. He was quite rude.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Always kind. The place is kept immaculate, it is clean, quiet and comfortable. Only negative is breakfast food is mediocre but that seems to be common in most inclusive motels.

It's difficult to get hold a person at front desk, but very friendly. No elevators, stairs would be quite inconvenient for elderly folks. lobby is very small, join next to a small\r crowded breakfast room. breakfast is acceptable for the price of the hotel. The rooms could use a update.

The price was reasonable for March, but if I paid more than $75 for this place I would be outraged by it's condition. Front desk staff were rarely present. Keep this in mind if you're expecting to b able to talk to someone if you need anything. The overall condition of the hotel is very worn down and depressing. My room was mostly clean, with the exception of the windows, air conditioning unit, toilet, and carpet. Airplanes literally taxi right behind the hotel. Something to consider if you need silence in order to sleep. I literally could have hit an airplane with a football from my window. The breakfast was fine but the food was very low quality. Don't expect to get decent food to start your day. Again, that's fine for $75 a night but if I had paid much more I'd be ticked. Given the overall state of the hotel I do not want to know what the food prep area looks like.

Just a nice and clean hotel. I made a last minute reservation when I couldn’t find lodging in Crested Butte. It’s an easy 30 minute drive to Crested Butte from Gunnison.

Room was ok and comfortable. Actually the nice room was a surprise based on the condition of the outside. Overgrown weeds and in an inconvenient location. Plus the hall had a strong chemical smell the entire time we were there. Also , not walkable! I would skip this one there are many other hotels in this cute town.

The place is very run down. Breakfast was terrible, the pancakes were hard as a rock all three mornings, coffee was so weak it looked more like tea, I had to renew my room key every morning. The place is a dump.

Everything was fine except for the promise of free breakfast. Yes they had some food to eat but it was very limited: two kinds of cereals, some mini-yogurts, some bread and a toaster (but I didn’t see anything to put on the toast) and apple juice (the orange juice was out).

The property is an older hotel that needs some TLC. The room was clean but is aging from the carpet and furniture to the mattress. The water was hot and the wall heater worked good. The breakfast was a tray of 4” pancakes and a tray of 3” egg patties. No meat. There was also some cereal. The coffee was good. We brought out own coffee and breakfast and used the room microwave as we normally do if we are not staying at a higher end hotel. This hotel is great for the value if you just need a room to sleep and shower and are not looking for a home away from home or to be pampered. We were there to ski and hit the town so we were not in the room much. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that isn’t a complainer about little things. You want fancy you pay for fancy. I give it a 6 out of 10 With No complaints.

Bed was comfy but the room has a lot of dings and sloppy repairs. The carpet looked very worn out. Breakfast was absolutely horrible, everything tasted like cardboard. Everything was heated microwave food, I understand if you don't have a cook but at least get higher quality premade food. Even hot pockets make for a better breakfast.

Overnight stay. Hotel was clean and quiet. Only one wash cloth provided. Breakfast was okay. No juice and no water and no one anywhere to ask for water refill. The chair in the room was odd, very low to ground, not for older people. The curtain was hanging. It needed more clips. It was adequate for an one night stay.

Front desk reception was very unfriendly and not helpful when asked any question. Also there were 6 in our group, when wr came down for breakfast there were only 2 eggs and 3 pancakes and the coffee machine did not work. Looked for staff for about 10 min and finally just left.

The Days Inn in Gunnison was in very poor condition. Broken sockets, fixtures, doors, secure lock, shower head, no screens in windows. Everything was old and hard to clean... so that explains why there were bugs and flys in the room. Of course, we were woken many times because the room did not dampen outside noise. All the furnishings were worn and needed replacement. The room needed a complete do-over because of the terrible condition it was in.

The staff was very helpful when I told the the a/c unit was frozen. I turned the a/c up to 85 degrees and tried to use the in room hair dryer to defrost the a/c unit. The hair dryer was broken so the staff gave me a new one. I worked on the a/c unit with the heater going and using the hair dryer to defrost the unit. I finally gave up and turned the unit off. Unfortunately the unit wasn’t completely off and refroze over night. The staff offered me a discount for the inconvenience it it was not their fault for a faulty a/c unit. It’s a hotel you go to if you want a no thrills hotel. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure for the shower was excellent, and the staff was friendly.
