Renovations only allow a certain amount of grace on these reviews. No amenities at all (except crappy coffee), cranky unhappy staff, room locks that didn’t work, and filthy floors. Sorry, I can’t understand why red roof would want them open at all.

My 1st impression was that the outside looked like they were renovating, but that wasn't the case. There were no locks or safety features upon entrance. The door lock was missing and the front lobby looked un-inviting. The door to our room didn't close automatically so if you didn't pay attention, it remained open. The door to the bathroom stuck so hard from the layers of paint it created a very loud pop when opening it that could be heard anywhere. The paint job of the bathroom was so terrible that it gave you an unclean feeling. We stayed more than 1 night and only had two towels, 1 wash cloth and one hand towel. There were 2 of us. There was a very tiny bottle of shampoo which was enough for one person (thankfully we brought our own). When we asked for more towels on the 2nd and 3rd mornings, we were asked if we had used what we had with disbelief. My other half doesn't get offended & he was utterly shocked with this treatment but the worst part of our visit was upon checkout where I had to stand and listen to the lady yell at 2 housekeeping staff about how careless they were with cleaning, throwing her arms up and berating them in front of me and other guests. How disrespectful. This is clearly a hostile working environment. She knew I was there and was doing it for show and telling them how nasty they were for not cleaning a room properly. During checkout told me she notices because she is a woman. Horrible Management.
