The Foggy Bottom area is nice to stay in, and the Metro was only 4 minutes walk away. The beds and pillows were pretty stiff and dated, but everything was clean. The complimentary breakfast was great! There were lots of hot options and they changed things up every day. I recommend using spot hero to find parking offsite, as we were able to pay around $40 a day versus the $60 a day that the hotel charges.

The staff were friendly and professional. My only complaint was a constant high pitch beep in the 5th floor hall. Like an alarm giving a low battery warning. It was awful and CONSTANT. Also, hearing the elevator machinations while trying to sleep. My room was 504 right behind the elevator.

We were very disappointed that three of our five mornings were accompanied by drilling and hammering. The first morning, we had arrived very late and had hoped to sleep in. The drilling began about 9:00 which means we only had gotten a few hours of sleep. I mentioned it to the front desk. He assured me that it would only be intermittent. It was intermittent all day! The next morning I called from the room so they could hear how loud it was. I literally had to stop talking half a dozen times during the conversation as she couldn’t hear me over the drilling. The last morning we could hear it, not as loudly, but we were leaving anyway. I understand it is challenging to maintain a building when there are always guest. However, when you have scheduled maintenance in an area, I think it would be wise to not put people in those rooms! Otherwise, the hotel is well situated, the breakfast was terrific, and the staff were very nice.

We traveled to Georgetown for a concert at the JFK Center and decided to spend the night at the Residence Inn Washington DC/Foggy Bottom. This hotel is in a convenient location - a quick drive to Georgetown, the Smithsonian, Capitol, Zoo - and walkable to the JFK Center and Washington Harbor. The hotel was comfortable, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the breakfast was decent. Onsite parking is very limited and is $60 per night, but they let us park there until the concert was over the next day.

Flew MCO to DCA to attend a Kennedy Center performance starring a family member. Our stay at Residence Inn was GREAT! The entire staff was cordial ,helpful and supportive. The room was spotless, the complementary breakfast had options for every palate and we could walk to the Kennedy Center.

Perfect neighborhood for sightseeing in DC. Every place we wanted to visit was walkable or close to metro. Nice restaurants, drug store, market nearby. Large suite. Smallish bathroom but normal for the age of the hotel. Very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet. Comfy bed. Priced ok for what you get and the location. Excellent customer service.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing, we had hiccup with the room that wasn’t clean but were able to get a free upgrade. Just an all around great experience, everyone was happy to be at work which in todays society isn’t always the case. I will come and stay here again

This property has a great location, close to Metro Station, the rooms are great, very good equipped. The only issue is that the AC wasn't working properly. However I really recommend this place.

They wouldnt let me cancel when i was in middle of storm with small kids instead i had to book a night at closer hotel and push my stay the next day. The rooms channels never worked kept freezing. Breakfast was good. The sofa bed mattress was terrible to sleep on, the linens were clean.

Overall wonderful hotel for families with spacious rooms and plenty of beds. Hotel is a bit outdated however and breakfast was super crowded at 9am. Good price and good area to be in between the National Mall, Downtown, and Georgetown.

The property is under renovation which was well communicated prior to my checking in, and was not a problem. The room was clean and well appointed, the kitchen had everything I could want. The staff were wonderful. I cannot think of another hotel where I was treated with such warmth and every question, request and need was promptly and efficiently addressed. Breakfast was fantastic. What was an extremely stressful trip was made much more bearable by the fine people at this hotel!

We’ve been there before to go to the Kennedy Center. Location is perfect to walk to. The room was fine. On the night of the Kennedy Honors…a Sunday night at 10pm….our key didn’t work to get into the front door of the Hotel!!! We were knocking on the door…the intercom didn’t work and it was cold and scary to be alone at night in DC at the Hotel we paid for and not be able to get anyone to open the door. There was no one in the lobby Or front desk. We were in shock!!! This should NEVER EVER HAPPEN TO ANYONE!!!!! I feel we should be compensated for the horrible inconvenience and awful experience.

The check in was really easy. Though we got there 3 hours early, Fred helped with parking and helped my daughter and I find the bathroom, while my husband parked. Fred and the entire hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet, large and clean. The free breakfast was better than average. Would highly recommend.

Great location in Foggy Bottom. Spacious room with separate living room with TV. Good, hot breakfast. Helpful staff. Easy walk to Kennedy Center. Reasonable walk to Georgetown restaurants.

Everything close in to DC proper is expensive, but I would prefer this hotel, all things being equal. Great location and service from the friendly staff, room was spacious and comfortable. Just a couple blocks from Foggy Bottom Metro station so easy to get to Mall or Reagan Airport or even Eastern Market. If weather is good, it's a 15-20 minute walk to Georgetown, through a lovely area.

6 night stay to tour DC. Fantastic location near Metro and Whole Foods grocery store. I highly recommend this location due to ease of access to DC mall / museum area via Metro. Purchase your DC Metro SmarTrip card and add it to your Apple Wallet before leaving home. Good morning hotel breakfast with employee Ruben keeping the area spotless. Our room had a kitchen with frig/freezer, stovetop (no oven), microwave, basic dishes, and dishwasher. We stopped by Whole Foods after a busy tour day for their ready-made dinners and saved a lot of money and hassle by eating in.

Flew MCO to DCA to attend a Kennedy Center performance starring a family member. Our stay at Residence Inn was GREAT! The entire staff was cordial ,helpful and supportive. The room was spotless, the complementary breakfast had options for every palate and we could walk to the Kennedy Center.

Overall wonderful hotel for families with spacious rooms and plenty of beds. Hotel is a bit outdated however and breakfast was super crowded at 9am. Good price and good area to be in between the National Mall, Downtown, and Georgetown.

The check in was really easy. Though we got there 3 hours early, Fred helped with parking and helped my daughter and I find the bathroom, while my husband parked. Fred and the entire hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet, large and clean. The free breakfast was better than average. Would highly recommend.

Good hotel for larger family/group. Hotel location was good with easy Metro access. Property was well maintained and clean. Breakfast was good but ends early and gets super busy. Parking is insane $71/night after taxes and limited number of spots.

Hotel was great. Staff were great. Room was roomy. The parking is very limited although we never had a problem when we left and returned. The parking garage is really the basement where laundry is done and garbage is kept. Needless to say the area around the trash bins was quite stinky. Very close and walkable to the to the Mall.

Eric was awesome. Location is great. Very close to Metro and 15-20 minute walk to White House or mall. Watergate hotel is not even 5 minutes walking. Full kitchen and separate living room a plus. Wife loved the breakfast. Chill neighborhood. I’d stay here again.
