The location is great but property otherwise was disappointing. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review. I The check in service was not friendly, our room was freezing & although we tried multiple times to adjust it, the room remained very cold for the duration of our stay. The fitness room was the worst we’ve experienced anywhere. One old bike, 1 treadmill, no space to stretch, no water, no towels. People waited outside to enter the “gym” bc lack of space for more than 3 people max & the 3rd person inside essentially was just waiting against the wall for one of the other 2 to leave. We were granted 1 hour late check out but then were locked out of our room & had to go to front desk to be given new keys. Overall, there is so much room for improvement. This is the first time I’ve written a negative review like this.

We have stayed here many times but this time, the lobby was completely under construction. They set up a makeshift check-in area on the second floor, which was impossible to get to due to the locking elevators. No hotel should put its guests through this level of hassle and squalor without at least informing guests, and should not charge more than $50 for staying with the entrance in this condition.

I was attending an event at Georgetown U and the Georgetown Inn is the perfect location. Right on metro line as well which allowed for a day of DC tourism. My only disappointment was that there were no refrigerators or microwaves in room. The picture online shows a fridge so I packed a whole weeks of dinners. No fridge was disappointing. But overall great staff, friendly, great location.

Absolutely loved this hotel. More of a boutique hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Perfect location and everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was surprisingly spacious. Their bar and restaurant is a must. We had brunch there and it was amazing. Would totally come back!

The Georgetown Inn was a very pleasant surprise - the accommodations were more than acceptable - spacious and attractive -the front desk personnel were efficient and personable - we were close to the Kennedy Center where our event was scheduled Unfortunately the hotel's restaurant closed early so no opportunity for dinner before the show - we had lunch the next day before leaving and was very please with the meal and the ambiance It is not close to Union Train Station but it is located in a lovely part of Georgetown - My sister-in -law and I agreed that if ever in the area again this would be our choice for a stay

The hotel was very nice but had its drawbacks. My bathroom was cleaned and resupplied with fresh towels every day, but my sheets were not changed the entire week that I stayed there, even though I requested a change after 4 days. There are innumerable excellent restaurants within walking distance, but the on-site restaurant is open only for breakfast and lunch. There's a full bar, but it closes at 2:00pm after lunch and is open only on Friday and Saturday nights. There is no parking available, even though the sign out front says that there is. Hotel guests are charged $40 per day for their own car, but no allowance is made for a family member's vehicle for visiting. The morning front desk staff is friendly and helpful, but the evening staff is inconvenienced by any request for information or assistance - they're usually in a back room watching TV.

Can't beat the location in the heart of Georgetown, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Still, my carpet had a large soiled circle near the door that should be cleaned up or replaced, and the hotel "Fitness Room" has only 1 treadmill and 1 stationary bike.

Hotel is nice. Great location, puts you right in the heart of Georgetown. Room was clean and the hotel is well maintained. Be aware that parking is not included. Overnight valet was and additional $59. Might have made a difference in where we picked to stay had we been aware upfront. All and all a good stay and would consider staying there again.

We booked this location as it was in our favorable place of Georgetown. Also, the main drive was the VIP Access or perk, flag that was posted for this hotel. However the place had cockroach babies inside the plastic packaging of the bathroom slides and the Keurig coffee maker was moldy. We only realized aboit the dirty coffee maker after having a couple of cups :( Felt disgusted and it got worse after we saw the cockroach babies in the bag holding the bath slippers 😞 A total let down. Now, we will not trust the VIP perk flag on the hotels, blindly.

We have stayed here before. Quite pricey but the location is great. I have to say that the walls are very thin. We could actually hear the guy in the room next to us coughing all night. For the price, I don't think ill be back.

The desk clerk and bellman were pleasant and friendly without being formal or unctuous. They also knew what they were doing and wanted to be helpful to guests. The rooms and halls are not the very highest standard of clean or kept up, but still very good. The furnishings are a stodgy style, but in good shape, and unlike many hotels, even more expensive ones, the lighting in the halls and rooms is quite good, as is the Wi-Fi. It's in the heart of Georgetown so there is lots to do a few steps away .. plus we spotted Nancy Pelosi and her 3 black Suburban entourage at a restaurant a block from the hotel.

The property is centrally located in Georgetown with lots of excellent dining options. It is a walking distance to all the hustle and bustle of Georgetown, as well as to Georgetown University. The hotel has a historic vibe to it, and with the recent lobby renovation it looks very modern and clean. I just wish they would update their bathrooms in the rooms because they look and feel dated.

The front desk person was rude and seemed to not care about guests, nor knew her job. After conveying the fact that a dirty tray of food was in the corridor for hours, she merely said to into the dining room to Repot, rather than do it herself. The same happened when asked about water in the bedroom. Go fetch h in the gym was her answer.

The staff make the place! It’s a lovely hotel but the people, from the valet and front desk, to the restaurant inside, were all so friendly, respectful, helpful, and effortlessly efficient. Looking forward to staying again soon. Thanks

The location and restaurant (including the servers) were great. The rooms were fine and they were clean. The front desk overall was not particularly helpful or friendly. I had called ahead of time to let them know we would be arriving late, between 2-3 am, due to a late flight. They said they noted that on our reservation so we wouldn’t be marked as a no-show. When we arrived at 2:30 am, the desk clerk told us we were lucky that she didn’t cancel our reservation - huh? We were also supposed to get free valet parking through Expedia and we notified the clerk about that on check-in, but ion check-out, the desk clerk insisted on charging us for overnight valet parking because she didn’t believe we had free parking from Expedia. So now I get to go sort that out. The desk clerk suggested we not use a third-party platform like Expedia in the future, but booking through Expedia saved us over $200. Also, if the hotel doesn’t want guests to book through Expedia, then they should not offer reservations through that platform. Nice hotel but it was too much of an administrative pain to stay there when it shouldn’t have been.

When we arrived at 2:30 am, the desk clerk told us we were lucky that she didn’t cancel our reservation - huh? We were also supposed to get free valet parking through Expedia and we notified the clerk about that on check-in, but ion check-out, the desk clerk insisted on charging us for overnight valet parking because she didn’t believe we had free parking from Expedia. So now I get to go sort that out. The desk clerk suggested we not use a third-party platform like Expedia in the future, but booking through Expedia saved us over $200. Also, if the hotel doesn’t want guests to book through Expedia, then they should not offer reservations through that platform. Nice hotel but it was too much of an administrative pain to stay there when it shouldn’t have been.

The hotel was very nice but had its drawbacks. My bathroom was cleaned and resupplied with fresh towels every day, but my sheets were not changed the entire week that I stayed there, even though I requested a change after 4 days. There are innumerable excellent restaurants within walking distance, but the on-site restaurant is open only for breakfast and lunch. There's a full bar, but it closes at 2:00pm after lunch and is open only on Friday and Saturday nights. There is no parking available, even though the sign out front says that there is. Hotel guests are charged $40 per day for their own car, but no allowance is made for a family member's vehicle for visiting. The morning front desk staff is friendly and helpful, but the evening staff is inconvenienced by any request for information or assistance - they're usually in a back room watching TV.

Can walk to all restaurants and shops in Georgetown. Overall, we had a very relaxed and enjoyable stay at Georgetown Inn. I recommend it strongly to anyone who wants to stay in Georgetown. Note that the nearest metro is ~20-25 minutes away, but there are plenty of buses.

Really fun and convenient place to stay when visiting the area. Best shopping in the area with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bakery, brunch, ice cream, etc. 5-15 minute ride to most popular monuments and museums.

Hotel is nice. Great location, puts you right in the heart of Georgetown. Room was clean and the hotel is well maintained. Be aware that parking is not included. Overnight valet was and additional $59. Might have made a difference in where we picked to stay had we been aware upfront. All and all a good stay and would consider staying there again.

Absolutely loved this hotel. More of a boutique hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Perfect location and everyone was so kind and helpful. The room was surprisingly spacious. Their bar and restaurant is a must. We had brunch there and it was amazing. Would totally come back!

The Georgetown Inn was a very pleasant surprise - the accommodations were more than acceptable - spacious and attractive -the front desk personnel were efficient and personable - we were close to the Kennedy Center where our event was scheduled Unfortunately the hotel's restaurant closed early so no opportunity for dinner before the show - we had lunch the next day before leaving and was very please with the meal and the ambiance It is not close to Union Train Station but it is located in a lovely part of Georgetown - My sister-in -law and I agreed that if ever in the area again this would be our choice for a stay

Location is perfect. Smack in the middle of Georgetown. Loved the water filtration unit in the lobby. However, this hotel is dated, our room did not have a refrigerator, the AC didn’t work well and the lighting is fluorescent even in the bedside lamps. I’m very mold sensitive and there was definitely mold in our room. The bathroom is tiny with very low ceilings which is saying a lot because I’m only 5’4”.

We loved our stay at the Georgetown Inn. It is conveniently located near M Street with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. It is a short Uber ride to the museums and monuments. The room and bathroom are both spacious and comfortable with extra amenities such as a cozy bathrobe and slippers. We arrived well before check-in and they had a room ready, which worked great! They held our luggage for us on our last day there as we did more sightseeing before our flight departure. Highly recommended!

The hallway and bedroom smelled very musty. There was chipped paint along the baseboards. The bathroom was teeny tiny and only a small weak stream of water came out of the sink faucet.
