Loved the shower. The hotel charges a random $60 additional hold on your account. You do get it back but of course it’s 7-10 business days later. They charge $5 for a CAN of soda. That alone is insane. The rooms were great, beds comfortable. Park off site in a parking garage - much cheaper. No snacks or vending machines. Breakfast is subpar - but be prepared to spend $75+ for family of 3 each morning. Cooks are ridiculously loud in the kitchen. No ventilation in bathroom so clothes were getting mildew smell (suitcases were in separate room). Air is either frozen tundra or hot. 2 streets to get in hotel. Not a huge issue unless your room was completely on the other side.

The parking situation was ridiculous. For $50 and having someone meet over there to open the lot and how far it was they should have valet.

The location to the main areas of attraction and the metro was excellent. The desk staff and housekeepers were efficient, polite, and professional. We arrived early, but there was a room available, so we were able to settle in at that time. We booked a king bed without kitchen; we got a double queen with kitchen. That was fine with us. The room was a bit outdated but clean; the shower had some mold but not a deal breaker. The room was located near the front desk, elevator, and stairs, so it was a bit noisy at times, however, we were out most of the day. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and the food was delicious. There aren’t many dine-in restaurants within a half mile walk of the hotel. Circa, near the Foggy Bottom metro, was excellent. We would stay the hotel again.
