The elevator did not work. The pool was not very clean. The bathtub in my room, number 216, was filthy. The staff was great! Very helpful and professional!

We enjoyed the location and the pool. We were happy with the microwave and fridge. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was okay. There was no shelter for my husband and brother to smoke. There wasn’t a washer and dryer on site.

The people where all very nice, the place just needs to updated. The toilet had to be flushed multiple times to work and the sink is very small, no room to do anything in the bathroom. The elevator was a little sketchy at times… took a long time to go up 1 floor.. place wasn’t worth the $300 it cost me for 2 days. Had the price been lower it would have been appropriate.

The rooms smelled like mildew, the elevator didn’t work, had to walk up & down 3 flights of stairs that hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Breakfast was absolutely pitiful ( not even enough to call it breakfast) and they didn’t have any plates on the morning of day two. We stayed here a year ago and it was all good, place has really good downhill since then.

This hotel is an old one that they brought back to life. I stayed in a suite. I could tell a lot of time and expense was put into that. New modern TV and microwave. The bathroom was remodeled with a new vanity, faucet, toilet, shower and shelving. The bed was likely new. It was comportable and zero noise. The ac/heating unit worked great with no out of the ordinary noises. During my stay to visit my sick dad, I caught Covid-19. I let them know and that I was quarantining to my room. They understandably let me know they wouldn't be cleaning the room but offered any assistance during my stay. All the staff where kind and courteous. I can't comment on the breakfast since I didn’t utilize it, other than it looked clean and appetizing. Cerials, pancake maker, coffee... On the outside, I didnt use the outside pool but they had just redone the parking lot pavement, painted line and plenty of lighting. Overall my stay was very nice and definitely would stay again. My 4 star rating is only because its an older hotel that still has some minor fixes need, which I feel at some point will be addressed. The elevator is likely original and could use some TLC. It was safe though and worked fine. The faucet and drain stop in the shower needed to be replaced. Lastly, there was a bad smell to the room and not as strong in the hallway. I hesitated adding this since its possible it was from the freshly paved parking lot tar smell mixed w/ hotel smell.

Room was very small. Service was spotty. Elevator was broken and we were on the 3rd floor. Won't stay here again.

The place was dirty. It smelled like a dog had stayed in the room and no one cleaned up after the dog. A random shock was under the AC. Attention to detail was not there. It was like no one cleaned the room in months. There was food in the freezer along with caked up ice everywhere. I thought the bathroom was cleaned until I checked the toilet. I had to make the best of it with Clorox wipes and Lysol. I slept with my blanket on top of the sheets after I Lysol it and another blanket on top of me. I slept with my clothes on and was unable to feel comfortable enough to do anything. I also saw roaches in the bathroom on the walls and floor. The solution will be someone actually cleaning and ensuring housekeeping staff is held accountable for not doing there job. But when there is an independent owner of a major company, this is what you get. No effort. I didn't check out the breakfast or anything else. I do not recommend this hotel unless cleaning is improved and an exterminator is called. Great location however with so much potential.

When we checked in on friday the 418 room she gave us smelled like dog urine so BAD. I walked straight back down and asked for another room. Got room 309. Walked in it and smelled like weed and cigarette so BAD. The smoke detector was coveredup with a piece of plastic. I speayed half a can of smell goods. Left window open all weeks and still smells. Worst experience i had. I paid $325 for two nights. Will not be back.

Staff was very nice and super accommodating. The hotel is older. Our room was small and not clean. Dog hair in the corner on carpet. That room hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. We did not complain or ask to be moved. As we only slept for a short time and headed out early.

Breakfast menu is a complete disgrace some of the few slices of bread had mold. Had fecal stains on my pillow cases and and bed sheets. Asked the cleaning lady if she would change the sheets an pillow cases and she said "sure" but never showed up.

Continental breakfast very sparse. Our room looked like it had never been vacuumed. Dirty bathroom, clogged sink. Would not stay again.

The first room they gave us ABSOLUTELY STANK with animal smell. They did come up and graciously gave us a new room. The second room was OK until I got in the shower and BLACK water ran out under my feet from the carpet in the room being filthy. The only time I was without shoes on was my walk from the suitcase to the bath room. The breakfast selection was poor, cold cereal, pancakes, yogurt with very little else. I will never stay there again.

The phone in my room did not work. It was never fixed. And the air conditioning heat controls in the room were not easy to operate. Instead of straight up up and down AC on AC off there was a hold wait for it to blink etc.

Best beds ever, best night sleep in a hotel!

Property is in a great location, staff was very friendly and supplied all our needs. However, the walls are very thin & could hear neighbors, hallway traffic, etc. The hallway floors don't get vacuumed and the areas surrounding the outside of building have so much garbage. Just felt the property could be improved

The room was small but ok. The only issue we had was the usb charger didn’t work. The desk clerk loaned me a plug charger

Room was small, but clean and cozy. Regular amenities, but nothing extra. TV would not work and it requires me to go buy ann hdmi cable to hook up my computer instead. I reported this to the front desk and they said it needed to be Reset. No one came to reset it. Stayed for 2 days. A staff member did say they were really short handed and had a big wedding coming in the next day, but I don't see that as a valid reason to let paying guests go without something as basic as a TV. On , y second night it was obvious someone in another room was smoking weed and the entire hallway stank. After 10pm there appeared to be " homeless People" sitting in the lobby

My room had no towels for the shower and the WIFI was so slow I couldn’t work on my computer

The cover sheet on the bed, covering the comforter, had multiple strands of hair stuck to it. I’m sure this is because it’s a synthetic fabric. It would be better if it was cotton, and it should be washed after every guest stay. The water was dripping out of the shower and could not be turned off. The walls are thin enough that we could hear the television in the room next-door, which played all night. We could also hear the people next-door arguing before they went to bed. The room is quite small. The breakfast was OK.

This hotel needs updating- carpet had a smell, bathroom needed updated fixtures due to rusting. Walls needed painting.

Very nice small hotel, very clean, everything worked right, staff friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that it was very loud in the room. You can hear every conversation and TV in rooms next door, and hear all road noise from outside.

The young lady that was at the front desk the night I checked in was more than helpful very friendly hard working. The rest of the staff was also helpful. I was skeptical at first due to other reviews but was pleasantly surprised with everything I would definitely stay again. 5 out of 5 stars.

The service was awesome! The staff was profesional and very polite! The staff ran out to tell me I left my pillows and brought them to me before I drove off! They were all so nice and friendly that morning. Only recommendation I have is to do some renovations. The place is looking old. But overall great stay

The entire staff is great! They are friendly, accommodating, respectful, and the hotel is clean. I would not recommend any of the other hotels in the area.

Although I didn’t like the conjoined door thing, the staff gave me a different room when I had an issue with a loud room next door, the staff obviously cared a lot which was refreshing. It was clean. My 2nd room was quiet

The cleaning staff left the lock slide open so my door was wedged open all day while I was gone. I spoke to the manager when I arrived that evening, he said that it’s human error. Sorry. They were supposed to keep my belongings safe and secure. They did not and offered no explanation. In addition, I purchased and I spent the first 2 hours cleaning with Clorox wipes because of filth. There was a very musty odor in the room. I had to also purchase Lysol to help with that stench.

The staff was always very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Will stay here again in the future.

Had a great visit planned with family but the Microtel staff made it much better. Ricky, the desk clerk, made sure we had everything we needed and allowed use to spend many hours in the lobby where all of us could sit together. Hotel was always clean and in a great location.

Front Desk attendant very courteous, accommodating, and friendly. Hotel was clean and well-maintained. The front desk met all our needs without even without having been asked. Would recommend to anyone. 10/10

Location was convenient for where we needed to be and breakfast was good. Parts of the hotel are outdated and old, and cleaning could be a bit more thorough, but overall an adequate place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night while visiting my family in Bushnell. This is the 4th time I’ve stayed here over the years and by far this was the worst stay. The room smelled like a cat or dog had urinated all over the carpet. We came in around 9:30pm after a long day and wanted to just go to sleep and not change rooms. So my husband went across the street and bought some Febreze and sprayed the carpet to control the stench while we slept. We were out of the room by 9am the next morning, but if we were there longer I would have complained. Please clean the carpets because this was not ok. Positive: the beds are always comfortable and it appears the hotel installed new AC units. It was a Wednesday night and the behavior from the patrons at Beef O’Brady’s was loud and obnoxious in the parking lot. Other than that hotel was quiet.

This hotel was a good value for the price. Great location right off of I-75, good parking and helpful staff. We heard little traffic noise. On the downside, the in-room coffeemaker did not work (why bother staff when there was coffee in the lobby) and muffled coughs, sneezes and talking next door were heard but things quieted down by evening and we slept well. The bathroom was inadequate and whoever designed the remodel should be out of a job. This should be the most well-lit room but had only soft fluorescent lighting that surrounded a large mirror. It was significantly inadequate for applying makeup, contacts, shaving, etc. There was no hall entry light or light over the tub to help compensate for this. The vanity was tiny, with 5" sides, barely enough for a toothbrush and paste. Eyeglasses would fall to the floor or in the sink unless folded, as would a hand towel. A 2-shelf unit mounted near the shower and over the TP holder also had 3 hooks (painted in primary colors) to hold towels. It looked as tho it was designed for a child's play room, which would be ok if they served their purpose well however the shelves were tiny and each held little more than a small cosmetic bag. At least there were 2 shelves. Larger towels on the hooks covered the TP and slipped off hooks. The toilet tank was the only place to set anything and they also are not very large these days.

Clean. Good restaurants that are walkable. Good coffee. Beds are comfortable.

Nice place, close to Interstate

Hotel was convenient for us location wise. It was an older hotel where a lot of construction workers stayed. It found it noisy. And musty

The entire place felt dated. Scuffs and paint missing on walls everywhere. Foul smell in hallways. Water pressure and shower cleanliness was mediocre. To call it “breakfast” is being generous. Some plastic wrapped bagels and cereal were lackluster.

If you can do carbs and sugar for breakfast, it's all you're getting. In room hot tub jets were disgustingly dirty. Staff very friendly

The breakfast was one of the worse we have ever encountered on our travels. Otherwise, the property was acceptable.

When we entered our room we were met with a very foul odor coming from room we went out and got air freshener to spray all surfaces including the carpet and bedding with no success. Also the refrigerator was not working and when opened up the freezer portion was filled with water and pouring all over cabinet and carpet. We switched rooms . Same odor in different room even after spraying with air freshener. Would not stay that location again and management gave no conssessions for inconvenience

Easy to get in & out, & nice breakfast.

Clean with nice linens. Property was relatively updated for the price. Breakfast included juices, cereal, oatmeal packets, yogurt, apples, pastries and a pancake maker.
