Pool not open

They have pictures of a pool in the ad but the pool was empty with yellow police tape around it. The beach entrance was closed and had yellow tape around the broken stairs. We ended up staying at another hotel.

No pool and over priced for a small room

There was absolutely no communication in any way shape or form. There was construction going on with concrete starting at 8 AM which caused all of the walls and floors to vibrate in the mornings, which made it impossible to sleep. Not only that we were not warned about this construction, and because of it the amenities such as the pool area was unavailable to us. When we called the number provided to get some sort of solution, it was ignored several times and we have gotten no answer back. We are beyond disappointed. Do not recommend at all.

When I made the reservation there were lovely photos of the pool and the beach. Everything is under construction. No pool and no access to the beach. When I contacted the contact it was pretty much who cares. The pool was not listed in the amenities yet is the prominent photo showcasing the property. It clearly states walk to beach. We couldn't enjoy our television because the unit next to us had theirs blasting. The bed is obviously so used that when you go to sit it literally sinks several inches. I travel quite a bit and I have never left a bad review. My needs were minimal, just a place to stay while work was being done at our home. Even the Keurig didn't work!!! I think if my concerns would have been addressed in a professional manner I would have let it go. There should be compensation due to the misrepresentation of the property. I would never recommend this property. As stated in the previous sentence I should be compensated for no pool and no beach access which were clearly depicted in the photos. Expedia should be ashamed.

The unit owner wasn't great. When i brought preexisting damage to their attention, they quickly tried blaming us. I took pictures of everything with a tune stamp attached. The property was decent but unfortunately no.beach access due to hurricane damage.

The place was very nice but they were in the middle of construction to rebuild after a storm currently has no beach access or pool. Great accommodations otherwise.

Good place to book if you’re looking for a bargain. Beachfront property. No bugs or pests seen. Just don’t expect a large luxurious room on a small budget and you’ll be pleased. Having to use a key each time you want to come up from the beach (instead of a gate with a code) was a huge inconvenience for us, especially when they only provide one key. If half only want to go to the beach and other half wants to go out to dinner…only one group will have a key to get back in. Only half of the messages I sent to the host was answered. Keurig didn’t work, was told replacement would be brought to us but that never happened. Overall it was a pleasant stay with a beautiful view from our balcony

Location was good and convenient. The room could have been a little cleaner.

The only problem I had was coming to the hotel with the bathtub dirty but 2 days later someone came to clean it the building and pool was overall in good conditions there was high tide so we didn’t get much beach time but the pool was in great condition very clean everyone is nice here the bed was very stiff but I would recommend the staff was beyond understanding and I would definitely come here again in the near future

BUT although it should have been a smoke free area, some folks were smoking in their rooms and the air was transported to our room via A/C. Furthermore, the ground floor was dusty and not well cleaned. Thin windows didn't keep the street noise outside of the building.

We enjoyed our stay . It was really clean and comfortable. We love the view of beach. The only thing I could suggest it to have a mop and broom. Thanks for allowing us to stay looking forward to booking in the future

Place was filthy. Misleading , no pool and not safe to stay at, we arrived at the facility and all blood at the towels , room was a messed,basically it’s a nightmare so we decided not to stay and just booked a decent

The room was not cleaned when I checked in. I had to text the owner. There was no remote for the tv,so it was useless for the first few days until it was replaced. the extra resort fee was not 69 dollars like posted but double that.

for the price that i paid this was an awesome place. it had a great view of the ocean, a big bed and a small kitchen which is very nice and hard to find for that price. a couple things tho, it was not very clean, looked like they hadn’t swept, there were crumbs in the couch, the remote to the tv barely worked along with the wifi. other than those few small things it was an awesome experience

The only problem I had is no TV for now 4 days upon check in the 10th TV not coming on the said cuz you never notified them soon enough the can't replace TV they won't compensate or extend stay they gave a new Roku remote it proven screen does not come the licenced electrician even said the TV blew could been all the storms maybe lighten hit it idk but new remote works old remote send it signal no picture no sound

THE BED WAS DEFINETLY WORN OUT NEED NEW ONE. THEY SAID NO SMOKING BUT EVERYONE AROUND SMOKED AND THE SMELL WAS HEAVY IN THE WALKWAY. WE HAD TO TAKE OUR OWN TRASH OUT, AS ADVISED. ITS A HOTEL THAT WAS CONVERTED TO A CONDO. IT WAS COZY ENVIRONMENT THE PEOPLE THAT WERE AT THE F RONT DESK WAS VERY SWEET.

giving my review based off of the condition when i stayed. (under construction) staff was great super friendly and very helpful. condo is being remodeled. heard nothing but carpet ripping all day Saturday and a Vacume running all morning Sunday outside my door in the hallway.

owned condos with no way to check in or get a key. Had to rent a different room at another location. This was a scam and a rip off.

Never got the room the room was double booked and I was still charged and never got a response from the owner or hotel.

Check in information was never emailed to me. We needed to contact the property owner/manager to get the information on the way there. Next day, room service tried to come in and asked if we were not supposed to be checked out. But we still had two more nights to stay. Then the second day one couple tried to open our door while we were in the room. They insisted that the room is theirs as if we were not supposed to be in the room. The management assigned them to our room while we still had one night to stay. Check in time is 4 pm but the management leaves the property at 5pm and the property is locked after 5pm. If you want to check in after 5pm, you have to wait outside till some other guests come out the door and you have to ask them to let you in. The check out time is 9am which I find it very early. The property is not dirty but very outdated. There are lots of wear and tear. AC in the room does not work well and very loud. Since it does not work well, it's running all the time and it never stops to keep the room at a decent temperature.

We never got to stay they over booked the room

Castaways screwed us over by not giving us our room.I had reservation number and they said the room was not available,very disappointed and was up till 230 am the day of check in trying to figure things out

This property is no a hotel, I couldn’t stay there because their were anyone at the reception, there is not customer service phone number after hours, this is the worst experience and expedía wash their hands, they only care about your money and they don’t help you

The bad reviews must have been during the rebuild from the hurricanes and of course northerners lol. We found the property to be beautiful with a new courtyard and swimming pool. Great amenities like laundry area, game/arcade room and even a breakfast/lunch diner. The staff at the desk is extremely helpful and greeting. Very quiet as well with many of the other people owning their units. Beach access was extremely convenient right from the pool and required a key to come back in for added security to the area. Will definitely visit again and possibly buy a unit(Condotel) as an investment.

Overall stay was wonderful but owner completely stop communicating after check in thought it was a little odd but management was very accommodating and hospitable!!

DO NOT RENT from this property manager. The only reason I’m giving this property 1 star is because 0 is not an option. This property no longer has beach access and the pool in under construction due to damage from the hurricane. I never even stepped foot in our room before we decided we weren’t staying. You have to walk several blocks to get to the beach and right outside our porch was construction equipment. I was denied a refund for the room and cleaning fee even though I never stepped foot in the room. He wouldn’t answer my phone calls or texts and when I reached out to Travelocity I was told there was nothing they could do since I was already denied a refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

It is such a nice place and convenient location. Like a tiny house with everything in one room. Very cozy.
