Wow, what a fantastic home! THIS property is the perfect example of how good a vacation rental has the potential to be. Jim and his wife have set one of the highest bars for the perfect stay that I’ve experienced, and I’ve been staying in rentals (instead of hotels) for the past fifteen years.The home is spotless. It is clean, bright, smells great, and there were no dirty corners. The bedsheets were clean (no stains) and the bathrooms were also clean and well-kept. The entire home is decorated with charming Teutonic touches. and the best part was the GARAGE. Car lovers pay attention- if you’re in this area and need a property with a nice garage space, THIS IS IT.The entire development is clean, quiet, and safe. It is clearly loved by the people who live there and the charm of the courtyard is wonderful. I was there on a work trip, but I would go out of my way to stay there again, even if it meant a longer drive. Truly a 5-star property and one of the best rental experiences I’ve ever had.

Overall great stay. Place was just as described. Very nice decor. Convenient to everything we were doing. Easy to find and loved that we could pull in the garage especially with the weather rain and wind. None of the stores were open to shop but met some really nice people in the community. Overall woukd definitely recommend and book again. Only recommendations: a better lock on the entry door. Large gap in the door meeting and just didnt seem that secure in my opinion. Deep pocket sheets for the bed. Sheets did not fit well and kept sliding off.

We loved our stay at this property. Check in went off without a flaw. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. You can tell the owner takes great pride in making sure everything was perfect. The location was really cool situated in a classic German village look with shops and restaurants. A must stay if in the area. We’ll definitely be rebooking this property in the future.

What a clean, comfortable stay - appreciate the items in kitchen- area has character and charm, quiet during the week. Owner excellent communication, easy check in! First time to Lancaster County, and staying at VBRO - the bar is set high after four nights April 1-4 2024.

This home was spotless and beautiful. It is located in a quiet village community, making it very relaxing and peaceful. The amenites were great and the host let us know he was available if we needed thing. We got in a little later than we planned on the day of our arrival and he even messaged us to see if we got in okay!! The Park Diner Place restaurant just up the road had great food and service! The servings were huge.The location of this home was away from the hustle and bustle of more populated areas, but only 25-30 minutes away from tourist areas like Kitchen Kettle Village and Sight and Sound. We will definitely try to stay here the next time we visit.

Once again our stay could not be beat. The place is immaculate, comfy, and the location is spot on for antiquing. We love listening to the fountain and the entertainment at the restaurant which is directly across from Gasthof Fretz. The owner is wonderful and so easy to communicate with. This is the only place to stay when pin Adamstown.

We were so delighted to stay in Adamstown at Stoudburg Village. It was such a unique location -- we took several walks through the village's charming streets. The view from every window looked out upon The Plaza and to the streets beyond. We were so happy to be here for the holiday to see all the decorations. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

I booked this beautiful condo because of it’s unique location in an authentic German village! It’s like a mini trip to Europe, complete with some charming shops. The condo did not disappoint- it’s super clean, comfortable with all the amenities that you might need. We loved the whimsical decor and the view from the living room of the gorgeous plaza. James and Olena were fabulous hosts answering all of my questions. I highly recommend this property! So fun!

The home, it's decor, cleanliness, and comfort are superb. What a beautiful village. There was a band playing in the courtyard on Friday, and a flea market on Saturday. I love relaxing to the sound of the fountain. The host is both prompt and gracious. I had to call him and we ended up having lovely conversations. It is so peaceful and relaxing that we hate to leave. Being returning guests I can assure you this is the only place to stay when visiting Adamstown.

This home was spotless and beautiful. It is located in a quiet village community, making it very relaxing and peaceful. The amenites were great and the host let us know he was available if we needed thing. We got in a little later than we planned on the day of our arrival and he even messaged us to see if we got in okay!! The Park Diner Place restaurant just up the road had great food and service! The servings were huge.The location of this home was away from the hustle and bustle of more populated areas, but only 25-30 minutes away from tourist areas like Kitchen Kettle Village and Sight and Sound. We will definitely try to stay here the next time we visit.

My friends and I loved this house, and location. We are all in our 70's, and it was perfect. Close to many sights We wanted to see, and the Village itself, was so lovely. We met many beautiful people! I have recommended it.

The property was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Hosts provided many thoughtful touches to make us feel welcomed! The location was absolutely perfect and the view was gorgeous. The village and home made us feel worlds away, almost like staying in a fairy tale. We really enjoyed the restaurant across the street and found it to be very reasonably priced. Book this property with confidence you will not regret it! We hope to return soon!

Very quaint little village with some dining and shopping within this unique spot. Plus the town of Adamstown is filled with antiques galore. Ahmish country is just a 20 minute drive (if you can do it without stopping a t a roadside stand). So this was a perfect base for what we wanted to do. We had a great time in the evening sitting around in this great home talking about our day. Something we wouldn’t have been able to do as comfortably had we stayed in a hotel.

The location is awesome. We enjoyed our stay immensely. There was lots of room for two couples and house was beautiful. We loved all the small shops and the pub across the street. We are definitely coming back next fall.

We loved our stay at this property. Check in went off without a flaw. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. You can tell the owner takes great pride in making sure everything was perfect. The location was really cool situated in a classic German village look with shops and restaurants. A must stay if in the area. We’ll definitely be rebooking this property in the future.

Once again our stay could not be beat. The place is immaculate, comfy, and the location is spot on for antiquing. We love listening to the fountain and the entertainment at the restaurant which is directly across from Gasthof Fretz. The owner is wonderful and so easy to communicate with. This is the only place to stay when pin Adamstown.

This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. We went to the restaurant across the square every night and got to hear live music on Friday. The townhouse was as advertised and had everything we needed. While here, we went to the Sight and Sound Theater, Shady Maple, and lots of shopping. It was a great place to stay.

The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies, coffees and teas, condiments, even fresh eggs and milk! A bowl of assorted chocolate candies was an extra treat! There were plenty of towels, toiletries, and everything you would need to do laundry or iron an outfit at the last minute. It was cutely decorated to give you a feel of Bavaria. We watched a movie one night on one of the included streaming services. There was a festival going on while we were there, so we also got to enjoy live music, shopping and food trucks. There are several good restaurants just a short distance away. Loved that it had its own garage to park our car in. The host was very communicative. It was a very pleasant stay and we highly recommend it.

Lovely area! The house was very clean and it has a good amount of room. Two car garage was a big plus. It’s a quite calm neighborhood/village. The host was very nice as well. As far as area, lots of farm land. Don’t expect to get ride share drivers. So plan accordingly!
