Very helpful the min you come in you can also use the other properties amenities and they are all in walking distance the rooms are spacious and nice the outside area is beautiful especially at the property with the hot tub love it def would come back clean and simple but beautiful

The room was clean but very outdated. The bathroom sink was clogged and water came almost to the top of the sink. No elevator and we had big suitcases as we were staying before a cruise. The front desk staff however readily carried our suitcases to and from the third floor.

The staff at this location was very helpful everyone was nice and respectful and help me with my bags. My only downfall were there were a lot of ants in our room I did not say anything to front desk so they probably would have changed our room. Also the property does not have an elevator which makes it difficult when having a suitcase to take up the stairs. Overall the place was clean and very spacious.

Overall this hotel is very clean and quiet. It is older, but fully functional. The person at the front desk when we checked in was not very pleasent, however the staff that was there on the last evening were very nice. The pool was crystal clear and the grounds around the hotel/motel are very clean, but dated. It’s a great value, $75-$200 cheaper than hotels just steps away. There are many shopping opportunities, and restaurants within walking distance and the ocean is only 200 yards away from the front gate.

Perfect hotel stay! Came for one night with my husband for the Tortuga music festival. Very clean. It is outdated in some sense but didn’t bother us at all. Comfy bed and pillows. Office ppl were very nice. Pool was nice. We will definitely stay there again

Older motel style building but extremely well kept and very clean. 3 minute walk to the beach. Great staff. Nice pool. Full sized fridge, microwave, small stove, pots, pans, dishes. They had beach towels to borrow. Great staff. On the quiet side of Ft. Lauderdale. Walking distance to Bonnet house and Birch Park. Parking is only $10 a day. Highly recommend!

The check in process was very quick and they accompany you to your room to ensure everything meets your needs. I love how clean the hotel is because I didn't have to worry about not being able to unpack. The staff is very nice. The beach is less than 2 minutes away.

TropiRock was a quick walk to Fort Lauderdale beach and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. At first glance, the room appeared clean, but the floors were quite dirty in areas. The hotel is vintage Florida and with that comes some drawbacks such as paper thin walls- In the rooms adjacent to us were children dribbling a basket ball at 8:30 AM and a person on the other side of our room having hacking/congestion problems for over an hour. This made the room sound more like a gymnasium or hospital wing. But, I suppose this was the bad luck of being placed in between disturbingly noisy guests. The hotel itself is on a side street so there wasn't much outside noise, just the noise from the adjacent rooms. If you need peace and quiet, this might not be the place for you. I did like the location, price and staff. So this is a mixed review...not terrible, but not great.

Our glass crank window was broken and stuck open all weekend. It did not close. Our white bed sheets were dirty. There was no working ice machine on the property.not worth the price of the hotel at all. Our room had no power for a few hours. Filling a cup of water from the sink to brush our teeth with and it was full of black floaties from the sink.

Average hotel near the beach and some restaurants and bakeries. The room was clean and spacious. It’s an older motel and definitely needs some updating. Our main and biggest complaint and the reason we will not return is because you can hear EVERYTHING. Outside and in any room next to your room. There is not a single ounce of soundproofing. Don’t expect to get any sleep while at this property.

The young ladybthat checked me in was awesome. The room was clean but the location of my room caused me not to sleep. You can hear people outside. Early morning the cleaning crew was loud and the traffic.

Cute hotel, great staff. Very noisy late into the evening and partiers out until 1 am. AC was great, bed and pillows too firm for me but I laid on the blankets and had my own pillow

Overall, not a great place to stay. it was difficult to locate, parking was off site, and the rooms were dirty. The shower did not work properly, it was either scolding hot or freezing cold. the knobs did not work properly. It was also loud, people were out very late and everything could be heard. Not worth the money

I was ok with this place. The dead cockroaches in the kitchen didn’t help their cause or complete lack of a dresser. Other empty rooms had them.

Decent place for the price, little details like not working coffe maker or not able or not able to watch cable channels. My review it's mostly about the poor empathy for the girl at the front desk. When I booked the rooms, I requested that it was wheelchair accessible. When I'm checking in I was told that the rooms were in 2nd and 3rd floor. No elevator. I told her that my mom won't be able to make it to the 2nd floor( the stairs are outdoor and it was raining so it was very slippery. She told me that I was giving those rooms by Hotels.com and that's it. I understand that maybe was out of her control. But her attitude of not caring at all that a 90 years old lady have to climb the stairs to 2nd floor was very upsetting. I felt like I was talking to a wall. Please anyone that has disability don't book in this hotel.

Overall this hotel is very clean and quiet. It is older, but fully functional. The person at the front desk when we checked in was not very pleasent, however the staff that was there on the last evening were very nice. The pool was crystal clear and the grounds around the hotel/motel are very clean, but dated. It’s a great value, $75-$200 cheaper than hotels just steps away. There are many shopping opportunities, and restaurants within walking distance and the ocean is only 200 yards away from the front gate.

We enjoyed our stay! Great location for beach and nearby restaurants. Hotel is worth the money, and for what you pay was very nice. Overall clean, smelled nice. The staff was super sweet and helpful! Only downside is we were staying on first floor and could clearly hear others outside and was woken up several times. Overall would recommend!

Overall, not a great place to stay. it was difficult to locate, parking was off site, and the rooms were dirty. The shower did not work properly, it was either scolding hot or freezing cold. the knobs did not work properly. It was also loud, people were out very late and everything could be heard. Not worth the money

Went for the Stanley Cup parade and we loved the hotel. Clean, friendly, accommodating, and close to the beach. The mini kitchen had everything we needed.

Had a great time. The rooms are cozy, plenty of hot water, good ac, and they have a bar around the corner that has some of the best bartenders I have met.

This was a great option for our stay, near friends. The hotel is quiet, beautiful mature tropical foliage, and excellent customer service. We loved learning about the "North Village", multiple boutique hotels (affordable), and walkable coffe shop, food truck, cafe, and more. Great concept directly behind the waterfront luxury hotels, and 2 blocks from the beach.

This was a great option for our stay, near friends. The hotel is quiet, beautiful mature tropical foliage, and excellent customer service. The hotel is not the most updated but it was clean and comfortable. The surroundings and amenities were pleasing and relaxing. Gave a tropical feel to the vacation. Convenient Location with walking distance to Restaurants, Bakeries, Food truck and the beach.

Older motel style building but extremely well kept and very clean. 3 minute walk to the beach. Great staff. Nice pool. Full sized fridge, microwave, small stove, pots, pans, dishes. They had beach towels to borrow. Great staff. On the quiet side of Ft. Lauderdale. Walking distance to Bonnet house and Birch Park. Parking is only $10 a day. Highly recommend!

The place needs to update. But the service was very good. They were very polite. I sugest to review the rules of the hotel. In our stay there were a group of guest that were smoking weed to much. The odor got trouhg our doors and it was discusting. Remember that not all guest smoke... My recomendation is to update the rules of the place and a little bit of love for the mantaince of the place.

We arrived at 9am exhausted from the heat after our cruise expecting to just store our bags while we waited a few hours to check in. The front desk worker offered to let us check in early for a small fee so that we could cool off and rest. That was a great surprise! She also helped us carry our heavy luggage to the 3rd floor and communicated via text which was so easy and convenient! If I ever find myself in Fort Lauderdale in the future , I would definitely stay there again!

This was a nostalgic return trip from 14 years ago. We had remembered the hotel as a highlight stay of our trip and couldn’t wait to relive it. There were some updates not necessarily ideal and failure to update items that should have been updated. Staff was very helpful. Had a room with terrible bed. Staff moved us to another room. Room was ok, floors need serious scrubbing and cleaning as well as under bed (the sock below was not ours) Pool was beautiful as we remembered. But with less trees and real plants. The rooms are white, everything, white. We missed the individuality of each room. Loved little restaurants and shops in neighborhood. Unfortunately we agreed we won’t be back a third time.
