Rustic Villa Fragola with heated pool

It was amazing!!

Villa Rustia was the most beautiful and serene property I’ve ever stayed at. The home is gorgeously crafted. The pool is perfect and private. It had all of the amenities I expect. The garden and pool area made me feel like I was staying at my own personal high-end resort. My only regret was not scheduling more nights here. Best place I’ve ever stayed.

Fantastic stay and Dolores was so lovely to us Croatia is wonderful

Villa Rustica is the most amazing villa - and we have stayed in quite a few rentals over the passed 15 years. Dolores, the owner, is one of the loveliest people you could meet. Nothing is too much trouble and she is always at the end of the phone (text) if you need her. The villa and outside areas are exceptional and spotlessly clean and tidy. The views of the mountains from the pool are amazing. Everything you could need in the kitchen and bathrooms is there. And there is plenty of hot water for a lovely, powerful shower. What sets this villa apart is the location. You can easily do a day trip to Split and Dubrovnik - we even did a trip over the border to Mostar in Bosnia. The Makarska Riviera is just half an hour drive away, with plenty of things to do and see. But the icing on the cake is a wonderful restaurant (Konoba Argentina), which is just a 3 minute walk from the villa. It's rare to find a perfect villa, in such a peaceful, picturesque location and have somewhere to eat and drink without anybody having to drive. Having said that, the BBQ at the villa is great too!! If you want to relax in a little piece of heaven, Villa Rustica is definitely for you.

We had the pleasure of staying at this home recently as a family including two kids. It truly was magical, surrounded by so much beauty of the area - incredibly private, and the most stunning view of the mountains. It's breathtaking - waking up to the sound of birds and nature all around you. The smell of lavender greets you from the minute you enter the property. The home is close to major attractions in the area, and the best part is after spending a day at the beach or visiting many local attractions, you come back a quiet oasis. The pool is spectacular, the outdoor seating is wonderful, and on the inside it's an incredibly comfortable home exactly as pictured. We felt at home immediately. As hosts, Dolores and her husband set the standard for what it means to be a host - from communication before we arrived, and during the stay, they were always a message away. Our flight was extremely delayed, and when we arrived at the home, we were greeted with the biggest smile and a fridge with goodies to get us started. We miss the home already, and can't wait to come back in the very near future!
