I wish I wouldn’t j ow the condition of the hotel before booking the room. My room smelled musty and felt damp. After looking around the metal in the lamp shades was rusting and staining the shade. The curtains were torn. There were stains through the room and hallways from water damage. The shower curtain rod was falling. The tub was painted and chipping. I ended up buying air fresheners and damp rid. The side security door was broke and anyone could just walk in. There is a sign in the room talking about a 250 charge for smoking or vaping in the room. However. Just outside the security door was an ashtray that reeked. The ice machine area looked dirty and a my few can sat on top of it for 3 days. While in my room on Wednesday. Now I was there since Monday. Maintenance tried to get in. When I opened the door he was surprised and said his list showed this room was empty. Thursday they cleaned my room l, took all the towels and made the bed. But never left new towels. Breakfast is basic. Scrambled eggs sausage, gravy, and biscuit toast muffins cereal. The toaster squeaks so loud you can hear it in the main lobby. Now Thursday is when I realized that the upper floors were being worked on and maybe they are actually cleaning this place up. This travel was for work and I will stay at a different place next trip

When we first arrived, the manager on duty was nice and helpful. We got into our room and immediately noticed a odor. Upon checking the room out, we noticed spots on the couch to realize it was mold all over the couch. We had walked into our room and back out in less then 5 min. Went down to the desk and asked for a new room. We got a new room, no problem, besides the floors felt gross. I couldn't walk around barefoot there. It stormed that afternoon and as we left for dinner, we noticed the end of hall were blocked off, like the last 5 rooms, with a trash can and caution tape. We went leave the next morning for check out, and the humidity was so high, we felt sticky skin and there was moisture on the hallway floor. The jacuzzi was taped off and not open for use. The place needs some attention and TLC. But staff was polite!

Very old property. Rooms were basically clean, but in desperate need of some updating. The bathrooms have a tub with a shower in it, but with no safety features such as nonslip strips on the floor or a safety bar to grasp onto as you’re getting in and out. The two ladies who took care of the breakfast bar area were excellent and kept everything immaculate, constantly cleaning up any crumbs or other things. The breakfast bar offerings were very limited, but will say that the sausage gravy was very good. The morning desk clerk. Was very nice and did a great job. Convenient location.
