This hotel needs a seriously full renovation. It is old & rundown. Elevator didn’t work. Carpets filthy. My original room had mold/water damage everywhere: ceiling, floor & even the lamp shade. I had to ask to change rooms, which they reluctantly did. Then, to top it all off, when I got back home I discovered that the hotel itself had charged me even though I had booked/paid through Hotels.com. Hotels.com quickly investigated the situation & had the hotel issue a credit within 48 hours.

I requested the 4th floor with a king size bed. When I got there I was told they were under renovation. I opted for a second floor room. No king size beds available. They were painting during my stay. Elevator broken hot tub broken phone in room out of service shower without handrail. Hotel not clean. Horrible experience. I was there on vacation for a week. Horrible experience.

Looking at the pictures, you could see there was mold all over the ceiling, smoke alarm, and bathtub. Rust on the lamps and the metal ring around the drain had a big chip it in where my young child could cut her foot or other part of her body, if she was taking a bath. The pool area had dirty towels, plastic coverings, and garbage lying around. Hot tub didn’t work and was full of garbage. Elevator didn’t work. I asked for a refund and she said I should receive it on my credit card in a couple days. It’s been a week and I have not received a credit. I called the manager and he says 10 days, still nothing. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau tomorrow.

I normally don't complain but this hotel was just awful. The hotel looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed for a week. The couches in the lobby were horrifying! No bed skirts on the bed. The box springs were showing and had stains. Gross! A bed skirt would have done wonders. The pool water level was low so the water was not going into the skimmers to be filtered. I cant imagine they are testing the water based on the color of the water. The hot tub was not working and the water was almost black. I booked the hotel because it was close to the airport and we had an early morning flight. I read that there was a shuttle to the airport. There is no shuttle. They state they are renovating but this was just unacceptable. Pick somewhere else to stay.

I called and ask if they have a shuttle to the airport. They told me they did and that I just had to tell them when. So I made a reservation through Expedia. When I got here, the front desk said that they haven't had a shuttle for about 6 months. So I had to make an Uber reservation to go 6 miles. NOT HAPPY.

I specifically chose this hotel, sorted by distance from the Airport and had an available shuttle to the airport. When I got thereto check in, I was told the shuttle wasn't available so i had to get my own transportation to the airport via Uber costing me approx $20. I would have stayed somewhere else had they let me know there was no shuttle to the airport.

The room had an odd smell, like it was moist? Idk how to explain it. The shades on the lamps looked like they had rusted metal under them that had bleed through the white. The chalk in the bathroom looked gross and needed to be redone. And to top it off, the firealarm was going off do about 5sec at a time all morning after 930 or so before I checked out at 11. I think it went off about 10x (wish I was exaggerating)

The first room was not clean and there was no hot water. Room number 103. The second room they moved me to was dirty with torn curtains. The bathtub and shower curtain was filthy. Needless to say I did not stay at the hotel.

The bathroom tub had dark spots around the caulked edges that appear to be mold or mildew. The bed sheet has a spot on it. The paint on the door, handles, and in the bathroom was peeling. The room was stocked with 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth. The girl checking us in was playing a game on her phone while checking me in.

This property is in need of a major renovation. The hot tub was empty and full of garbage. Pool and pool area was filthy. Mold in rooms. Staff was not friendly at all. The only thing good about this hotel is that it’s close to the airport.

This was by far the absolute worst place I have ever stayed. I’m not a person who stays at the Ritz, so I’m not a ridiculously picky person, but we were booked for 6 nights and stayed one (unfortunately). Everything was worn, torn, broken, chipping, peeling …. Just ICK!!!! Room was musty, light bulbs missing, drawers unusable, then to make it even worse, the hot water pressure was so bad that we couldn’t shower. I went down to the desk and told the girl that there was absolutely no way we were staying! We walked across the street to a different venue and they were super accommodating. We should have just demanded a refund for the full 6 nights and moved, but we stayed the one night (one night too long). They refunded us the other 5 without issue. I luckily had a Covid mAsk in my suitcase and slept with it on because the room was so “moldy” smelling. Could not leave soon enough the next morning. Breakfast was mediocre. Wish I could take a picture of the “smelll” for this review. OMG … do NOT stay here.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We had little children with us and their feet were black from the floors. The tub was dirty. The blow dryer didn’t work. Everything was sticky, even the stair rails in the lobby. It was just gross. Do not recommend!!

The lobby was clean and attendant pleasant enough. We got into room and it smelled. Every wall had a different color. The curtain was ripped. We went down and asked for a different room. Showed attendant picture of ripped curtain and got the story how previous owner allowed cats. He offered to refund money but at 7 pm, where were we supposed to go? Got another room. Not much better. Didn't get any sleep with doors banging. $190 for the room. I plan on contacting expedia for compensation.

Hotel’s convenient and cheap for a quick nights stay before your flight at RSW, but other than that not the greatest experience. We weren’t told ahead of time that they only take credit or cash for the deposit (NO DEBIT) so we had to walk across the street to get cash. I’ve never heard of a policy like this. The employees attitude at check in was far from welcoming. We also weren’t given the wifi password so we tried calling the front desk multiple times to no avail. Aside from the strange deposit policy and poor customer service, the room was also in very poor shape. You can tell they haven’t renovated in a very very long time. We stayed in room 316 and the door was either super old or previously kicked in because it didn’t close properly and we were unable to use the deadlock. Luckily we felt we were in a safe enough location to be able to just rely on the latch lock for the couple of hours we stayed. So I guess you could count that as one of this hotels few pros.

Requested a late check out before arriving at the inn. The following day I got a text 40min after the standard check out time that my late check out request has been denied. Had to haggle the staff to not get billed a late checkout fee. Will not be returning to a Baymont Inn anytime soon.

Did not stay at this hotel! I had reserved 4 separate rooms for me and my staff, I have confirmation from Hotel.com When we arrived to check in around 5pm, the front desk clerk informed me they only had 2 rooms available and not 4. She said their reservation system only showed 2 rooms booked, I showed her all my documents and confirmation numbers. She did not care to help, said they were booked and had no extra rooms. She said we’ll have to room together or go somewhere else. I called Marriott Bonvoy and got 4 rooms at another hotel. Either the hotel messed up or Hotel.com messed up, regardless nobody was willing or able to assist us and rectify the their errors. We will never use this company again.

When checking in found the front desk empty with a sign up saying "Away, be back in a few". We waited for over 15 minutes and while walking the halls trying to find someone the front desk employee came out of the women's room.

Hotel’s convenient and cheap for a quick nights stay before your flight at RSW, but other than that not the greatest experience. We weren’t told ahead of time that they only take credit or cash for the deposit (NO DEBIT) so we had to walk across the street to get cash. I’ve never heard of a policy like this. The employees attitude at check in was far from welcoming. We also weren’t given the wifi password so we tried calling the front desk multiple times to no avail. Aside from the strange deposit policy and poor customer service, the room was also in very poor shape. You can tell they haven’t renovated in a very very long time. We stayed in room 316 and the door was either super old or previously kicked in because it didn’t close properly and we were unable to use the deadlock. Luckily we felt we were in a safe enough location to be able to just rely on the latch lock for the couple of hours we stayed. So I guess you could count that as one of this hotels few pros.

We have a whole list. No hot water. Sewer smell back in all water included drinking water. Toilet plugged. No working lamps, iron, fans, phone. Plumbing not code, etc. STAFF DIDN'T CARE I WANT A REFUND

Front desk gave us key to room that was already occupied (embarrassed to walk in on someone.) didn’t tell us pool was closed. Work on new laminate floor going on 2- doors down was loud power saw…. Until 6 pm. Never will we stay there again!

Front desk clerks on my nights were above average helping multiple ppl on phone, directing guests to vending, etc. I needed tickets printed & computers shut down, when I returned she saw me coming & handed me my envelope. Breakfast was sufficient, sausages & eggs for hot plates made a good bagel sandwich for FREE. Very convenient location for I-75 and beaches 20-30 minutes without beach hotel cost

Hotel is run down needs repairs and good paint job. No hot water. Had to run water for awhile before it got hot. No coffee pits in room hot watrt in coffee setvice not hot in lobby. Had to use micro wave to have hot water for tea. Food first morning wss empty and then when told serversl times ginally put food out. But was cold. I had to takebit to my room and micro wave it so I could eat it. Muffins were stale. 2nd morning not much better.

This was my first and last time at a Baymont Hotel. It appears that Wyndham is just syphoning money from the hotel without putting anything back into the hotel. The bathroom fixtures needed replacement and the shower curtain was moldy. The breakfast was good as long as you were early.

Comfortable room, just a little bit rough around the edges. It needs some attention, E.g the button for the elevator was broken on the 3rd floor meaning you'd have to take the stairs down or call reception. Breakfast was good.

pretty worn down property. We stayed at the beginning and end of our trip as a close option to airport. First night the air conditioner didn't work. Everything else just OK. Breakfast, however, was excellent for a continental.

I wish I wouldn’t j ow the condition of the hotel before booking the room. My room smelled musty and felt damp. After looking around the metal in the lamp shades was rusting and staining the shade. The curtains were torn. There were stains through the room and hallways from water damage. The shower curtain rod was falling. The tub was painted and chipping. I ended up buying air fresheners and damp rid. The side security door was broke and anyone could just walk in. There is a sign in the room talking about a 250 charge for smoking or vaping in the room. However. Just outside the security door was an ashtray that reeked. The ice machine area looked dirty and a my few can sat on top of it for 3 days. While in my room on Wednesday. Now I was there since Monday. Maintenance tried to get in. When I opened the door he was surprised and said his list showed this room was empty. Thursday they cleaned my room l, took all the towels and made the bed. But never left new towels. Breakfast is basic. Scrambled eggs sausage, gravy, and biscuit toast muffins cereal. The toaster squeaks so loud you can hear it in the main lobby. Now Thursday is when I realized that the upper floors were being worked on and maybe they are actually cleaning this place up. This travel was for work and I will stay at a different place next trip

When we first arrived, the manager on duty was nice and helpful. We got into our room and immediately noticed a odor. Upon checking the room out, we noticed spots on the couch to realize it was mold all over the couch. We had walked into our room and back out in less then 5 min. Went down to the desk and asked for a new room. We got a new room, no problem, besides the floors felt gross. I couldn't walk around barefoot there. It stormed that afternoon and as we left for dinner, we noticed the end of hall were blocked off, like the last 5 rooms, with a trash can and caution tape. We went leave the next morning for check out, and the humidity was so high, we felt sticky skin and there was moisture on the hallway floor. The jacuzzi was taped off and not open for use. The place needs some attention and TLC. But staff was polite!
