One drawback is the hotel not having an elevator.

Only thing bad about the hotel was that they didn’t have an elevator to go up to the 3rd floor.

Good location pool was dirty i did not swim the entire stay due that.

My room was nice, clean and comfortable. My only problem was the parking, as a single 75 yr old female I was somewhat uncomfortable walking such a distance from my vehicle to the front entrance, the back entrance was blocked off. Thank you

Arrived at 1:30pm. Asked for the possibility of an early check in and was only possible for a "convenient" fee of $50. Back at 3:45pm for check in and room type was only available on the 3rd floor. Property has NO elevator. Although it was before 4pm, hotel manager had left for the day. ONLY available from 8am-4pm and won't accept calls thereafter. Experience at check in wasn't pleasant, therefore won't return to this property.

No elevator! Had to trek up 2 flights of stairs with a 16 month old and luggage. I specifically asked about the pool at check in since we were there for a baseball tournament and wanted to be able to cool off after the games only to be told the next morning that the pool was down for an uncertain amount of time. My 17 year old niece trekked downstairs with her 16 month old sister just to have to go back upstairs to our room because it was down! $100 deposit at check in that was not listed when I booked the room. The deposit isn’t the issue, but the lack of transparency is. There are plenty of better and nicer hotels in this area to stay at. We checked out after the games that day and went to another hotel that was literally right down the road!!

3 story hotel with no elevator

No elevator if you are on third floor. It is a nice place to sleep with a nice price. The staff was very helpful! The room was clean and the bathroom big.

This was the WORST hotel that I have ever stayed at! While the staff were all pleasant, the accommodations were terrible - when I walked in the room it smelled like bug spray, there were hairs on the sink and in the shower, the floors were sticky and there was no caulking around the air conditioner which would probably explain the two cockroaches that visited me. The security bar on the door hardly worked as it looked like it was a replacement for one that had been forced open! I checked in late as my flight into Gainesville was late so I had to spend the night but I checked out the next day and found another hotel. To the management - please do something with this hotel so that staff and guests can feel safe and comfortable! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

The stay was ok. Sheets were not clean and AC was very noisy

The room was dirty. The sheets had hair on them and dirty, bathroom sink.It was clogged. We were very disappointed.

Bed bugs in room. Was in room for total of 5-10 minutes, they refused to refund.

The curtains had a large amount of blood on them. The dehumidifier had not been emptied and it was full of mold. The air filter in the A/C unit looked like it had never been changed.

The only issues I had was how far the closest parking was to the front entrance. I had to make several long trips back and forth to the car for my things! The other issue was that the A/C ,in the room, was very noisy and I had to keep turning the volume up and down on the TV to hear it! That was most annoying!

Don’t let the price fool you… this is a nice little hotel that is nicely upkept with a helpful staff. The room was very clean… If you’re in Gainesville and you don’t want to spend a fortune on lodging but still want a hotel that is clean and modern … this is the place.

From the exterior I could see it was an older building so I was pleasantly surprised that the room had recently been updated. Very clean, friendly staff.

A/C very noisy, came on every 10 minutes. Some broken tiles and old fix near tub border. Over powering disinfectant odor in halls and room. Better than average breakfast compared to most 2-star accommodations. "You get what you pay for". Lots of highway noise, small rooms, poor overall quality. Will go back to more expensive units.

It was good for the money. I just needed a clean. Safe place ro stay over a ling trip. Only complaint is I could not get on the wifi and needed it to work on my laptop.

Room was updated and price was very good thru Hotels.com. Tell them you want the top floor. I had a 5:00am tap dancer above me

Rooms need remodeling. Had to lift the mirror in the bathroom to use the power outlet. Very noise.

The room was nice enough, and I guess there really isn't anything bad to say about the hotel. But...the guests were very noisy. Car alarm going off right outside my window twice in the middle of the night, moms yelling at kids in the hallway, doors slamming, etc. Guess the walls could be a bit thicker.

Checked in online day before with pictures of license and credit card. Shower up at hotel next day and they said they had no record of my pre checkin so I had to Checkin again with same info. Check in time was 3pm and we were there at 3:05. They had to check to see if room was even available. After waiting for her to physically check the room she came back down and gave us the room key. We went up and door was open with a guy in our bathroom still cleaning. He promptly left. Later we realized after using the restroom that there was no hand soap in the bathroom and even the body gel in the shower was empty. There was a different bottle of bath gel on the floor of the shower which we ended up using for hand soap and bath gel. The fridge in room was not cold. Tried using temperature dial in fridge and it just spun and spun. Had to guess which was colder. Light by one side of bed was not plugged in and there was no other nearby so it was unusable. Coffee maker was not plugged in and had to move it to the sitting bench across the room because that was only usable outlet. Room had no closet and no drawers to put any clothes away. There were three hooks on wall for hangars and a couple open slots to put clothes. Pulled sheets down to get ready for bed and a spider crawled across bed. Killed it with a tissue. Pulled sheets down further and there was dirt in bed. Went down just after 6 to check out and he took room key. Got email after 8am to checkout online. Unacceptable!

Deposits don't get back to you timely

I had booked this room after midnight for what I thought was the night of but since it was after midnight it went to the next night. Honest mistake. I showed up at this property at 2 am and found out my reservation was made for the next night. I was very tired and the nice young clerk told me all I had to do was contact Expedia and they would contact them to discuss and I would be reimbursed for the night I reserved. He then rebooked me for the night I was there at the same rate. He was very helpful. The next morning I contacted Expedia to tell them the situation so they contacted the property as I was told to have them do. The property told them that it was their policy for no refunds within 24 hours. This is not was I was told by the property when I checked in. I went to the desk and explained what I was told and they stated I should not have been told that. I know from past experiences that this is possible but the day clerk would not help or accommodate. I still paid for a room for 6 hours of sleep that would not have been reserved otherwise. This property was not out anything due to my mistake and their lack of consideration to my honest mistake due to exhaustion will not be forgotten. Not good business!

Had a small issue with the air conditioner in our room, but was quickly moved to another room with working air conditioner! Excellent service and very pleasant staff! Would definitely recommend it!

It was an amazing stay. The manager was great trying to accommodate me. The desk personnel and maids were always polite and professional. The maintenance man worked hard to get my tv up and running, always trying with a great attitude. I can't say enough positive things. The place was very clean, and the staff did everything to make sure I was taken care of. Definitely would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff and clean. This property was recently remodeled and the room had some nice upgraded furniture, flooring, bathroom, etc. However, half of the outlets in the room didn’t work and the ones that did had issues (such as the tv randomly turning off & back on). Also got slapped with a $100 room deposit at check in that wasn’t disclosed in the fees.

Check-in & check-out were quick and easy. Desk clerk was friendly and helpful in giving directions.

Enjoyed the stay very much. Would stay again. Young man at front desk went we checked in was extremely nice. Would stay again.

The access to the hotel is not convenient

Our stop when driving through Gainesville. Plenty of food choices nearby and right off the Interstate.

Nice place to stay for a game (though price may be high game weekends). Staff was friendly but may want to get more info on transportation/parking areas for games. Place was clean, roomy, and good location-10 min drive to the college.

I liked best the bathroom, clean, spacious, shower with handle bar and seat for older people, enough soap and towels. My parking spot was close to the door. But even in first floor there are a few steps. The area around this and 3 other hotels is inhabited by homeless people. I didn’t like this, but had no problem. The breakfast is very poor.

Literally right off I-75 highway. Clean hotel rooms. Breakfast is very minimum selection. However, walk outsideaybw a few yards to the light and you have every restaurant available. You can walked to seafood spot Called Mr. &, Mrs. Crab. This hotel is AWESOME

Breakfast was poor - no waffles or cereal. Pretty much limited to coffee, juice, and packaged bagels.

It was just OK they advertise continental breakfast, but all there was the waffle maker.

The staff was friendly and pleasant to deal with. The hotel was a little older and showed signs of wear and tear, especially in the bathroom. There was a hint of an odor in the room, but it didn’t permeate clothing or anything, and after a few minutes wasn’t noticeable. It was otherwise clean. The breakfast lacked substance. This hotel owner kept it cheap as possible.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at this Super 8. The room was clean and quiet and conveniently close to parking. Breakfast was very adequate with boiling water provided for tea, coffee and fruit, waffles, yogurt toast and cereal.

No elevator. Staff not very hospitable. I went down to breakfast (open until 9AM) at 8:45 and waited for someone making waffles. Waffles being the only thing offered other than oatmeal. When I went to get the batter, it was out. I asked if anymore and was told breakfast was now closed. It was 8:55.

I specifically chose this hotel because it said they serve breakfast. Their idea of breakfast does not match mine. There was no breakfast meat. There were no eggs. There was very little variety of anything else. The only thing that I could see that would be acceptable is waffles and coffee. Service was great. The room was okay. It got the job done for me to rest and revive for a long drive the followong day.

great stay except for the breakfast, most of the food seamed to be gone by 8:30. The waffle batter ran out and a lady came and got it but never returned, No bread for toast. Kind of ruined a nice stay,

The description said the hotel had breakfast, but all they had was coffee, juice, and some muffins and bagels I asked why they didn’t have the waffle maker on or why there weren’t any other items out and the employee said they were out. Some of the other guests were also complaining because there was nothing there. They didn't even have creamer for the coffee.

There wasn't really a breakfast. Just one waffle maker.
