Fairfield Inn and Suites Jacksonville Beach

Very nice staff, clean, a minute walk to the sand, and the free breakfast was great! Not just donuts and croissants, but scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, waffles and a variety of other things. The hot tub was wonderful! No complaints.

This was a short weekend trip.So I spent a lot of time researching to make sure that I would eliminate any surprises.And that the property would meet our needs. Based on the reviews, I went with this one. And honestly very disappointed in the overall experience. The primary issues were some of the staff, the room amenities, on the last day at checkout time, the elevator not working and we were on the third floor. The front desk associate on Saturday was a calamity. She was rude about pool towels and was clearly struggling on managing front end duties. Our first night our room had a tv and phone that were not working. The tv was fixed after a second request. We gave up on the phone issue once we saw how the front desk was handling other guests. Other guests complained about her as well. I bit my tongue and gladly checked out as planned on sunday. So dont make same mistakes i did and go off of misleading reviews.

The continental breakfast could be improved. Gross folded eggs and watered down oatmeal weren't great. And the kitchen person was rude.
