Do not book this place! Before I arrived I received a check-in link and it asked me to submit my ID and Credit Card information to pay for the $20 pet fee and incidentals. When I arrived the front desk clerk demanded I give her my credit card again, I told her I checked in online and had already paid the fee. She became short and rude as she explained that it didn’t actually charge me, it just placed a hold. Completely understandable. She handed me the key to the room and it was for the 2nd floor. I asked if there was anything on the ground floor since I had also requested that during booking. She said no and also informed me that there are no elevators either. When I walked into my room I was hit with a wall of cigarette stench. A visible ashtray on the side table. I rang downstairs and told them I didn’t book a smoking room, the clerk insisted I picked a smoking room. If I now wanted a non-smoking room, I would need to pay an additional $30. I thought it was outrageous, especially since I didn’t book a smoking room. Since I booked with Expedia, she told me to take it up with them. Expedia took zero accountability even though they confirm that I didn’t select a smoking room. They tell me the hotel will not budge & I have to pay. Only after escalating the call did they agree to cover the $30 in the form of a credit! The clerk called the owner and they were also unwilling to help even though it was midnight on Easter. I left & forfeited $80 because I couldn’t justify $50 more.

Unfortunately they had no hot water, an issue with the pipes that were being worked on but wouldn't be back on until the next day. Not a problem, but I think they should have offered me a cancellation, if I could have found another place to stay. The staff were very nice & apologetic..

My room was dirty, moldy, and very uncomfortable. The only reason I stayed was the price was very reasonable. The parking was good and the staff was very friendly, but the condition of the hotel overall was very very bad.

My husband had a terrible rash from the bed sheets when we talked to the front desk they said it was just the detergent that they get alot of complaints about it. Also the people who use the hotel as extended stay are very loud and they were drunk with big dogs in the pool area could not even enjoy the facilities. When we checked in and went to the room there were dead bugs on the floor asked for a broom and it never came.

The place is dirty. It is pretty far from the city, theres nothing to eat around you, you have to travel 20 minutes away from the hotel to get something! The roads are dark and scary. It’s a motel more than a hotel! Poor breakfast. Shower was dirty and it smelled in the room. Pillows are small and bed is not comfortable at all. Also there Is mold in the room. Toilet seat was moving and was broken. We didn’t enjoy the stay at all.

Our room was absolutely the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. You could see under the door, hair all over the bathroom, rusted our mini fridge. Bugs all over the bathroom sink tub and walls. Walls had smashed bugs on them.

I actually made reservations here by accident and yes I regret it. The toilet leaked out onto the floor so they moved us which was good but the tub was grey and the covers were burned. Office lady said she would speak to her boss about me being compensated. Never got back with me. After a long day my key did not work and myself and my two kids in tow also had their hands full. Our room was upstairs and we had to come back down and go up to the office. No apology from the lady at the front desk. We could not connect any of our devices to the Wi-Fi as well. I travel with my own rags and towels thank God, because all of theirs were grey or grey and brown. I would NEVER stay here ever again.

We walked into our room and it was extremely hot. No AC was going. Notified the front desk, she went to move us rooms and the other room did not have ac. She then was going to put us in a room on the bottom floor but could not because the cleaning crew advised none of the rooms with ac were clean. Very uncomfortable and not pleasant.

Room was clean and the sleep area looked recently updated with new flooring and paint. Bath area in need of help. Bath fan not working and hot water temp DANGEROUSLY hot. Fridge did not work. Told the front desk, hopefully issues will be addressed. Breakfast was a joke. All in all, not a bad place for an overnight stay, but that's about all.

Upon check-in was greeted by the clerk. Very friendly and polite. Was given a room, but unfortunately it did smell like smoke went back up was immediately given a new room with an upgrade. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful.

So the overall room wasn’t bad but the office staff ( Kelly ) was terrible. They only gave us 3 towels and 2 washcloths for 4 people for a 3 night stay and when I asked for me she was very nasty and said they didn’t have anymore. Then I actually went to the office and she found 2 more towels to give me but we very rude.

Expedia took zero accountability even though they confirm that I didn’t select a smoking room. They tell me the hotel will not budge & I have to pay. Only after escalating the call did they agree to cover the $30 in the form of a credit! The clerk called the owner and they were also unwilling to help even though it was midnight on Easter. I left & forfeited $80 because I couldn’t justify $50 more.

Do not book this place! Before I arrived I received a check-in link and it asked me to submit my ID and Credit Card information to pay for the $20 pet fee and incidentals. When I arrived the front desk clerk demanded I give her my credit card again, I told her I checked in online and had already paid the fee. She became short and rude as she explained that it didn’t actually charge me, it just placed a hold. Completely understandable. She handed me the key to the room and it was for the 2nd floor. I asked if there was anything on the ground floor since I had also requested that during booking. She said no and also informed me that there are no elevators either. When I walked into my room I was hit with a wall of cigarette stench. A visible ashtray on the side table. I rang downstairs and told them I didn’t book a smoking room, the clerk insisted I picked a smoking room. If I now wanted a non-smoking room, I would need to pay an additional $30. I thought it was outrageous, especially since I didn’t book a smoking room. Since I booked with Expedia, she told me to take it up with them. The place is dirty. It is pretty far from the city, theres nothing to eat around you, you have to travel 20 minutes away from the hotel to get something! The roads are dark and scary. It’s a motel more than a hotel! Poor breakfast. Shower was dirty and it smelled in the room. Pillows are small and bed is not comfortable at all. Also there Is mold in the room. Toilet seat was moving and was broken. We didn’t enjoy the stay at all.

Tractor trailers across the parking lot running their generators all night. Front desk staff dressed very slovenly. Breakfast was non-existant, had no coffee prepared. It appeared that prostitutes we're working out of a few of the rooms. Not a facility to take a family too.

Selected this hotel because it was close to highway 10. We were staying overnight, and staying close to the highway would allow us to get an earlier start. Hotel is located away from the rest of Lake City. No place to eat or shop without driving 15 minutes. For that reason would not stay there again

Its a basic room. Theres nothing exciting about the room. You go, sleep, leave. Its beside a semi truck parking lot, and a Huddle House. The location is rural. Its not strategically located anywhere. If you need a last minute room, this it it. Nothings more.

This is a very shady neighborhood. The workers were friendly and nice but also told us that the room we were staying in was broken into several times. This was disconcerting to say the least. The very best part of this stay was the local restaurant we went to. Marion Street was by far the coolest spot in town

Lake City has the nicest people! Greeted in the a.m. is always nice. That coffee is soecial! Limited food options but my muffin was very fresh. Not a chocolate person at breakfast, but staff makes you feel like a Princess! Economu meets taste. Excellent.

AC unit was noisy, the shower head didn’t spray water properly, and the biggest issue was the “continental breakfast” - the offerings for breakfast were bread (toaster was broken) and lukewarm oatmeal. There was a small refrigerator for yogurt and fruit but it was empty

Check in was great and the receptionist was so sweet. Got to the room and it seemed clean until I got to the bathroom and found a dirty washcloth and the bathtub had slimy stuff by the clean out. I will say the linens were clean (minus that one) and the bed was relatively comfy. It was nice and peaceful in the surrounding areas. The breakfast was a joke. Two kinds of cereal and oatmeal. There were more breads for toasting but that was pretty much it. I’m thankful this was just a stopover on the way home and I MAY stay again if I had to but if I have a choice I will go elsewhere

The full breakfast was not. It only consists of toast, coffee, cold cereal, oatmeal and yogurt. No eggs, meat, rolls, muffins anything pictured on the web site. I choose hotels/motels on this criteria and others. If I knew I would have gone elsewhere.

When we checked in, where should a room that clearly been stayed in and not cleaned bed unmade sheet truffled garbage in the can towels on the floor we went to the office and requested a different room attendant was rude and acted like we were in an inconvenience, we were issued a second room. This one was worse than the first one. There was actual food on the table, like someone was still staying there beds are made, etc.. I went back to the office for the third time. Apologize to come back and ask for a third room even though I should not have been the one apologizing the attendee was nice. The third time around she seems to be frustrated with the staff. We issued a third room thankfully, this one was clean the room. I guess they say they’re done, but I was very frustrated. it was raining outside.
