Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Checkin took more than 45 minutes because staff was slow and seemed confused about everything. Carpet in hallway smelled like cat pee. Carpet in room smelled like dogs. Carpet was dirty and sticky. No garbage can, no coffee maker, no telephone, no comforter on bed. TV didn’t work. Door didn’t lock. Toilet had not been cleaned in weeks. Sink would not drain at all and filled up completely. Cigarette burns all over curtain. Pool was drained and covered with tarp.

Couldn’t get ahold of front desk. No one would answer phone. No one there for check out. Blankets are hard and worse than jail blankets. Place is old and run down. No ice machine anywhere. No cable. Trash bins full on every floor and yes we looked cause we looked for ice everywhere. Gym closed and pool empty.(no water) shampoo was half used. It’s expensive and other hotels with bad reps are way cheaper and better

The Hotel is Horrible,darty,is smells of cigarrette,it has no cable TV in the Room full of cockroaches.The pool water is green. It Shouldn't be Working. Thas was a great Hotel years ago .It's in a spectacular area of Lakeland, a place like that Shouldn't allow such a Nasty Place.

It was basically an indoor Super 8. All amenities are out of order. The pool, both restaurants in the lobby. I would’ve felt better paying Super 8 rates.

Checking in in the weekends is not recommended. That's when the owner should (keyword should) be at the front desk. She changes her story constantly. Don't believe a word she says. And good luck finding her. The lady during the week (Chelsea) is wonderful. The listed amenities are non existant. WiFi is terrible at best. Pool is beyond repair. There are no ice machines or vending machines. Your only option is to get a $2 can of soda from the front desk. And repairs at the hotel would justify it being closed down. Overall: STAY AWAY. STAY FAR FAR AWAY

I had to wait hours to check in due to no one working at the front desk. After finally checking in, the room and hallways smelled like mold. Areas of the wall and ceiling had holes all in them, some areas under construction. Christmas night, there was no hot water in the shower, eliminating the ability for me, my wife, or kids the bath. There were multiple dead roaches and I saw 2 alive. These were the German kind that will destroy your home if only one gets in your luggage. When packing my things to leave, my card stopped working, locking me out of my room. I tried calling the after hours number and got no answer. My cell phone, pistol, and laptop were all in the room. No one ever told me that the doors lock after checkout time. Absolutely the worst hotel stay I have ever had, and I have traveled from coast to coast in this country staying in hotels. This place was also the trashiest looking hotel I’ve stayed in. Not to mention, the pool doesn’t work, nor is the restaurant/bar operational (online said both were open). This hotel ruined the Christmas I was supposed to have with my children.

This place is awful there was so much mold in the room and the bathroom it smelled awful. The front desk lady was nice but it seemed a bit shady that I had to pay a cash hotel fee separate from what I had already paid for. This hotel is gross and over priced

DIRTY SHEETS AND ROACHES This place is disgusting and way overpriced. The whole hotel reeks and smells musty. I know this is Florida but the other 6 hotels I’ve stayed at in Florida have never smelled like this. They give one singular sheet for your bed and on top of that, mine were stained with blotches and little black dots, the closet door was broken, the glass was cracked, but worst of all they had roaches in the bathroom that crawled behind the mirrors. I ended my stay early and was told that they’d get back to me with a refund but since then they have blocked my number and are an absolute scam.

The place was Super Dirty, trash in every hallway and the elevators, hair on the tub, trash inside the Fridge. Even Tho I payed for a king Bed suite They gave me a Doube twin Bed room. I’m in the military and was staying there with my fiancé for one night and it was so Dirty and Uncomfortable that we decided to go to the Airport and just stay there all Night. Worst thing I ever had My Fiancé go through and I promised her I would never Do it again.

From the beginning, I rented a 3 night stay and I didn’t even get to stay the first hour. Me and my partner had planned a stay for 3 nights and we saw the photos for these and thought it wasn’t that bad for the price we were paying, so naturally we booked the stay. Everything was going smoothly until we arrived to the floor we were going to be sleeping in. It smelt like a murder scene and the energy itself just felt off! It felt like straight out of a horror movie. We unlocked our door and immediately both looked at each other in disgust. We were searching for the lights but half of the lights they had in there had no bulb. We decided to ignore that and just looked around the room. We found a spoon on the floor and mold on the wall. Our mattress was stained yellow and on the carpet there was a white stain. We looked in the bathroom and the tub was straight up YELLOW! After further thought, we decided to not even ask for a another room and just ask for a refund. They told us they wouldn’t be able to do a refund unless the owner is there and told us to shoot and email. We sent an email and called and still have yet to hear back. Please save your money and look at the reviews before booking! This hotel was a nightmare!

That was the worst experience for us staying in that hotel. Entrance hall and elevator floor was dirty (black spots all over). Bathroom made a terrible impression: Dirty stain in a toilet, black spots all over the bathtub, mirror and sink all covered with dried splashes. In the coffeemaker there was an old coffee bag left with 1/8 inch of mold. How many days it was not cleaned? But they charged us a cleaning fee $8.99. Tried to talk to the clerk at the desk - he did not speak or understand English. All he could say: Yes, yes - with a big smile. I wonder how this hotel was able to pass Health Department inspection. And it is, definitely, not worth it to pay $140 for that experience. I wish to be able to attach my pictures to this note.

Very dirty. No staff at all to check anybody in. People who booked had been waiting 2 and 3 hours for someone to check them in. No one ever came. SCAMMING people out of money. Overflowing garbage on the floors. Restaurant attached claim they don't know anything about the hotel or staff. They have nothing to do with it. Some lady later said she didn't understand english.and couldn't help. She sure understood when I said I'm calling the police. She comes out immediately with a translating device. Which was stupid. They do have some association with the hotel. Don't be fooled by them. BELIEVE all the BAD reviews. They are true. I witnessed it with my own eyes! SCAMMING people out of money! I did call the police. Fire exit blocked. Men and women's bathroom door locked. Garbage overflowing from the garbage cans on the floors. I went looking for some form of life. Sheets in the middle of the hallway. Filthy all over. Very, very rundown! Do not book!

Property has no upkeep. Outdated and broken. Tons of trash everywhere, made it seem unsafe. Microwave in room didn't work, elevators didn't work half the time, and they had to fix the lock on my door because the key wouldn't work.

Out dated poor up keep,no one is ever at the front desk. A/C leaked very bad the whole time carpet wet mildew smells throughout the property just horrible. I paid for the most expensive room and the jet tub didn’t even work

Room was adequate but old furnishins, tv only had hd broadcast channels using an hd antenna, no cable. Room smelled of smoke but not recent smoke, more like it was deeply embedded in the carpet. Carpet was old. Hotel had no amenities. Reception desk is unattended at all hours.

Very run down property with very limited number of employees. The room did not have trash cans or kleenex. The microwave did not work, the tv malfunctioned, poorly lit room, and a shower head that was only adequate. Also, check in took a long time.

The room was clean. The hot water faucet side was smashed all over the counter. I took a picture and gave it to the front desk person so they would know that I didn't do it. She offered to move me to a new room but I just wanted to sleep there. I had to wait over an hour for someone to show up at the front desk. I had to call the main number 5 times to try to get someone there to check me in. The parking was in a garage close by. There was no hair dryer. It was quiet.

Never had such poor service at a motel before ( I don't think this qualifies as a hotel). At 11:00 pm, they gave me the wrong room # so I tried to get in an occupied room. No washcloths. Next morning, nobody in sight to request washcloths. next evening at 8 pm, nobody at the desk. there were people with children waiting, trying to check in. the phone number to call for service was unanswered every time. restroom was dirty, toilet had hair from the last occupant. Who are you going to complain too? there are no phones in the room to call the front desk. finally after coming to the lobby several times somebody showed up at the desk. GO AHEAD, SLEEP HERE IF YOU LIKE THIS. on the plus side the bed was comfortable.

No one at the facility front desk for check in until 4:15pm. She pulled up to the Hotel and there was 4 parties waiting to check in. Tried calling and no answer. Very unsatisfactory! Will never stay again and will warn others as we travel this area frequently to play softball tournaments.

Terrible place! Had to travel for a last minute business trip to assist with storm damage, only to arrive at this hotel turning me away because they sold it out from under me. My card was already charged and it took hours, and multiple calls to get my money back.

very poorly run. Stayed the night of the hurricane 10/09/24. check-in was haphazard, the restaurant was closed and all questions were answered by a nice Chinese girl who needed her phone to translate as she only spoke Chinese. Room was OK. I was never given a receipt or any paperwork, only the room key. I paid for 2 nights just in case, but only stayed the one night. No one was at the desk at any time that day or the next morning at 10AM when I left. Only person working was a nice Chinese man who told me to call the number on the wall and they could help me get my refund. I have called every day and left messages to no avail. The phone # online does not answer. Just disputed the charge on my credit card for half. Never stay there again,

If I can give this zero stars I would after being displaced from hurricane Milton nobody picked up the phone we showed up it smelled there was nobody at the front desk. Another woman was waiting an hour and a half for them to reactivate her key card and they have the audacity to try to charge me for cancellation. Do not even bother. I was not bringing my children or infant into that. I don’t care how displaced I was.

When I arrived (for my reservation) there was a sign that said “be right back”; after waiting 20 min, I called a number that was taped to the wall. I left a voicemail saying I was at the front desk and there were others there too (2 others came after me). After another 15 minutes I called again and was sent straight to a full voicemail. Shortly after I received a text saying “what do you want?” So I responded I was trying to check in for my reservation. Another 10 min passed and a guy came down the elevator. Believe me, had I not had a reservation I never would have tolerated; coupled with the town was booked up for state championships. The entire facility was gross, had mold everywhere, stains in the tub (so disgusting I wouldn’t even shower) and I was terrified I would end up with bedbugs from the whole feel of the place. I would strongly encourage you to not post this place on your website—you shouldn’t encourage anyone to stay here.

Overall positive experience. The hotel was very nice for the price. Room was nice enough. Microwave and fridge in room but no coffee maker. Had to go to the front desk to get a remote for the tv. We were there two nights and did not get maid service so I don’t know if we stayed longer if there would have been anyone that came by. Lots of restaurants close by as well.

I had to wait hours to check in due to no one working at the front desk. After finally checking in, the room and hallways smelled like mold. Areas of the wall and ceiling had holes all in them, some areas under construction. Christmas night, there was no hot water in the shower, eliminating the ability for me, my wife, or kids the bath. There were multiple dead roaches and I saw 2 alive. These were the German kind that will destroy your home if only one gets in your luggage. When packing my things to leave, my card stopped working, locking me out of my room. I tried calling the after hours number and got no answer. My cell phone, pistol, and laptop were all in the room. No one ever told me that the doors lock after checkout time. Absolutely the worst hotel stay I have ever had, and I have traveled from coast to coast in this country staying in hotels. This place was also the trashiest looking hotel I’ve stayed in. Not to mention, the pool doesn’t work, nor is the restaurant/bar operational (online said both were open). This hotel ruined the Christmas I was supposed to have with my children.

Terrible place. There is no staff from about 10 AM to 4 PM. If you have a problem you are out of luck. Would never stay there again. Lobby looks like a storage room and the place looks like it is about to close down.

Hotel was in poor condition. Amenities were almost nonexistent. No breakfast was served. There were stains and holes on the wall and the bed linen smelled dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will NEVER stay there again.

the hotel is a run down property, there is no reception clerk on duty until 4 pm until 10 pm, then in the morning to check out nobody there, drop off keys basket, no restaurant or lounge on site there were insects in the room,(mosquitos and ants) the remote control is in the reception desk, but they do not tell you at the registration time, you have to come down, because there is no phone in the room bare is better that this hotle, on top they had charged me and additional 10 dollars for service fees, what services??????

It was basically an indoor Super 8. All amenities are out of order. The pool, both restaurants in the lobby. I would’ve felt better paying Super 8 rates.

We were unable to check in as there was no one at the front desk or answering the phone (middle of the day). We waited for a long time, so left and found another place. The hotel has a neglected look to it - closed pool, closed lounge, under staffed. Can't comment on the rooms as we never made it that far.

Hotel is very dated, No quality ventilation and old carpets. Staff is Amazing, one young concierge was exceptional. It seems it’s under new management, restaurant was closed and turned into a flee market (bad idea) retail stores and gift shop in lobby closed and full of old decorations. Thai is a budget friendly hotel, with limited to no options of a great bygone era. I hope they can bring it back ! But absolutely not with current management, they clearly do not have a clue.

This is by far the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. From the barely operable room door, to the stains on the carpet and furniture, black mold inside the inoperable mini-fridge, vanity with one faucet handle missing and the other inoperable (no running water at the sink), disgusting filthy bathtub, and barely working air conditioner, there is nothing good to say about this place. Hotel staff was berated by multiple guests, and were completely indifferent to the complaints. It took the desk clerk at least 20 minutes to check in each guest, and my wait time was almost an hour. I would never, ever, stay here again, and I advise anyone considering it: RUN AWAY. It is quite obvious that ownership and management could care less about this run-down, dilapidated excuse for a hotel, or it\'s "guests".
