Dungarvon House B&B

Stayed in Weston for one night for an event and struck absolute gold with this place. Room was super-comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything I could possibly need - right down to the tea and biscuits! - and hosts Cai and Mell went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, including Cai driving me everywhere I needed to do - an absolute godsend since I don't drive and would otherwise have spent a fortune on taxis! Added bonuses include a huge hot tub in the garden which offered a very welcome chance to chill for a few minutes on such a busy weekend - plus snacks and drinks for a small fee. And let's not forget about honorary employee Max the golden retriever, who will leave you in no doubt as to when he wants a hug, and generally spent the entire time being adorable. One thing to note with this place is that they have three rooms but they only take one booking at a time and then block off the rest - so while it's perfect for a family or people travelling in a larger group, it also means those travelling alone essentially get the entire top floor to themselves, including the bathroom which is literally two steps away from all the bedrooms. So you get all the privacy you want - plus as it's located in a residential part of Weston village, it's super-quiet at night. Honestly couldn't fault this place. Highly recommend and if I am ever back in Weston I will certainly stay there again.

It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay.
