Room was comical. We booked a suite, the bathroom is very outdated, bath tub grout was pretty nasty and the water smelled terrible. The view in the room was mostly of the roof so don’t book this room, try to get a better view. The only thing great about this place is the amenities. I have a child that enjoyed the pools and the shuttle to the beach with the pool was great. The food options at the beach pool was good.

This is an amazing resort with something for every age group. We had ages 7-67 and everyone had a fantastic time. Excellent food options on property, but also many restaurants close by. The Beach Club is just a quick, free shuttle ride away.

Nice property with great amenities. Although the rooms were nice and clean, seems like the interiors should be updated/ modernized. There should also be a path connecting to the adjacent shops. The sidewalk ends and you need to walk in the street to cross. Otherwise, really nice facility and great staff.

The outdoor property of this resort is beautiful with trees, water, bridges, two pools, and a golf course, but the rooms are very outdated and not well kept. Our room was in one of the villas-popcorn ceiling, small and uncomfortable beds (we chose a double queen bedroom), very old alarm clock, no USB ports or extra outlets, sliding glass door to the porch would not open so we could not go outside, we could hear every word in the room next door, but the worst was how loud our air conditioning unit was. The AC unit would kick on at least every 10 minutes (could not keep our room cool apparently) and woke us up several times in the night. For price we paid, and the additional $25 per day resort fee AND $22 day a day for parking that I was charged for but not made aware of at check in (I was only told that they needed a card for incidentals which is normal), this resort is not worth it. The gates to the villas were not working so no security as well. Unfortunately we will not stay here again.

This hotel is run down! needs a total renovation. The rooms were dirty / linens old - thin - smelled - our experience was AWFUL! the room we reserved (Signature 1 Bedroom suite resort view) was unavailable due to maintanence issues - the registration desk apologized and offered a DIRTY hospitality room - unmade murphy bed on the floor - with access to a connecting dirty standard room! it was also awful. Finally we were offered (after 2 hours) a villa room - not in the main building (where are meetings were held). The villa room was old / dirty / run down - and had left over - half eaten cookies on the floor - next to the couch - on a paper plate - the entire experience was NOT good. And to top it off - my "final" bill was wrong - it included a night room charge AFTER we had checked out! I am awaiting a call back from the hotel accounting office. This was an awful experience!

Hotel itself was fine, staff within the hotel itself were professional. We were put in a villa, not the main hotel which required more driving and still charged $22 a day for our car to be parked in a 95% empty lot in front of the building. The room itself was like a 2-3 star beach hotel, worn down, not very clean and miserably uncomfortable furniture and bed. Room was cleaned once in a 3 day stay. Floor tiles loose all over the place, greasy fingerprints all over thr bathroom fixtures. Shower and products were best part lf the room. Balcony would have been relaxing if more than 1 chair provided for w guests. Spent $400/night when we could have stayed at a HyattPlace closer to where we spent the most time for 1/3 of the cost. Shuttle to the beach was great, but access ends at 5-6pm. Would not stay here again.

When we arrived at the resort, we dropped our car at with the valet, and unloaded all of our suitcases to take into the check-in desk lobby. When we checked in, we were told that we needed to go get our car to drive to our suite. Went back to the valet, and reloaded our luggage. we commented that it would’ve been nice to know that we were having to drive to our suite, and the valet told us that they did not have an up-to-date list. In the unit, our fire alarm was hanging off of the ceiling by a couple of wires, The tables in front of the sofa were rusted, and one of the lamp tables had a leg missing. The suite smelled very musty. We had to open a door to air it out. The next morning there was a roach in one of the bathroom sinks.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet and relaxing. We had the most friendly check in staff. She was so kind and helpful. The grounds are nice and well kept. The rooms are a bit older but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed riding our bikes to the local shopping and restaurants. We also really enjoyed the Cabana beach club. No complaints from us.

1. Took 20 minutes from the time I reached the counter to check in and we were rushed to wedding so never went in the room - forgivable due to training but the agent was not trained enough to serve. 2. We arrived to our 2 rooms at 11pm and one room was 85 degrees. 3. A rep brought us 2 keys to a new room. No offers to help with luggage or direct us to new rooms and we had to carry luggage down stairs and to an enitirely different building at 1130pm. Walked in and it was cooling but immediate smell of must and the sheets were damp. Our children's rooms were the same. We were so dang tired so we sucked it up and slept in moldy damp rooms. 4. 2 small waters in each room (one room was for 4 people and 2 waters) the rooms were a major distance from the main hotel as we were in what was called villas - a nice name for a really old staircase outside door access hotel. 1. Took 20 minutes from the time I reached the counter to check in and we were rushed to wedding so never went in the room - forgivable due to training but the agent was not trained enough to serve. 2. We arrived to our 2 rooms at 11pm and one room was 85 degrees. 3. A rep brought us 2 keys to a new room. No offers to help with luggage or direct us to new rooms and we had to carry luggage down stairs and to an enitirely different building at 1130pm. Walked in and it was cooling but immediate smell of must and the sheets were damp. Our children's rooms were the same. We were so dang tired so we sucked it up and slept in moldy damp rooms. 4. 2 small waters in each room (one room was for 4 people and 2 waters) the rooms were a major distance from the main hotel as we were in what was called villas - a nice name for a really old staircase outside door access hotel. NOTHING like a typical Marriott but the charge was $350 per night. Then no reimbursement because we booked thru hotel.com. Stood in line for almost 1 hour to check in! Hallway to the room was frigid cold, but room itself was hot and uncomfortable. Air vents in the room were dirty, carpet was dirty. Noise coming from the bathroom/pipes all throughout the night was incredibly loud and kept us awake all night. One of the sinks in the bathroom bubbled and backed up with nasty brown water. Really terrible experience.

The rooms was outdated for $400 and building had rust needed work. Patio door latch was broken wouldn’t open. Beds were hard and pillows were flat. Not a 4 star resort. At least the room/building I was in.

It’s just an old hotel that has uncomfortable beds and pillows. Food wasn’t good. Went to front desk in the morning to ask for clean towels and they said they would be up in 10 minutes. They arrived at some point later in the day….after I showered and left for the day. One valet attendant in the morning that had pulled my car up but took the keys and returned 15 minutes later.

We always love our stays at Sawgrass Marriott. We appreciate the excellent service from greeting to check in to restaurant service. The views and ambiance are restful and relaxing. Our only wish for is fans in the bathroom, especially with Florida humidity.

This was our first time there and the staff didn't explain anything about navigating the property. Our room was 1101 and we got on the elevator and it was only 7 floors. The lady in the gift shop let us know we were in the villas and where we would need to walk. They also didn't tell us anything about the shuttle or how to get to the beach. We had to figure everything out on our own.

Disappointed because no concierge on site, we had 2 lights in the bathroom that were out and promised maintenance would be there but no show in 3 days. tv in living room needs to be replaced cause it is blurry. Otherwise we had a good time.

It's a beautiful property. Our shower handle wasn't attached, and tub drain was broken. A maintenance person came up soon after we told the front desk. He left us a note saying both were fixed - neither one of them were fixed.

The Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were knowledgeable and attentive. The bartender was a great conversationalist, and helped make the evening enjoyable. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the area.

The resort was expansive. This was good and bad. I was given a room in the Villa section farthest from the main hotel and the rest of my group. Had I known this, I would have not stayed there. I felt disconnected and I was disappointed. The Upside is that I got a lot of steps in. I mentioned this to hotel staff, but they were not sympathetic, and my guess is because I booked my flights and hotel through a third party (Expedia)

Nice property with great amenities. Although the rooms were nice and clean, seems like the interiors should be updated/ modernized. There should also be a path connecting to the adjacent shops. The sidewalk ends and you need to walk in the street to cross. Otherwise, really nice facility and great staff.

Beautiful exterior but room was not as pictured. Walls paper thin and could clearly hear conversations in room next door. Electrical outlets did not work, plumbing bubbled up in sink every hour or so. Adding gratuity to all food orders without informing guest in writing or verbally. Nothing was marked with signs and the layout being extremely large, was difficult to find gym, spa and other amenities. Not worth the price per night.

The view in the room was mostly of the roof so don’t book this room, try to get a better view. The only thing great about this place is the amenities. I have a child that enjoyed the pools and the shuttle to the beach with the pool was great. The food options at the beach pool was good.

This is an amazing resort with something for every age group. We had ages 7-67 and everyone had a fantastic time. Excellent food options on property, but also many restaurants close by. The Beach Club is just a quick, free shuttle ride away.

I give the hotel 5 stars. My only complaint was the restaurant food. Overpriced and not that great, but everyone was nice and the drinks were cold. Minor complaint though. There are lots of nice eateries around there, especially at the TPC clubhouse. I would definitely go back.

The staff was AMAZING!! Very professional, helpful and welcoming. The resort is super pet friendly (I think $125 or $150 fee), a lot to do within the resort or via shuttle, and the beach was beautiful and quiet. I want to go back next weekend!

Every trash can was overflowing, someone from housekeeping woke us up a little after 9 to ask if we were checking out-check out was at 11 and obviously if we weren’t checked out in the system we were still there we did not appreciate being woken up.

Be careful when booking this property they run a scam at the front desk where they take your credit card and tell you they’re gonna charge you for incidentals what they really do is use it to charge your resort fee and also a parking fee people that use third-party booking agencies, Expedia, etc. be extremely careful because many times Expedia will absorb the cost of those fees in your total bill and this property likes to double charge you for that also the villas are moldy and stale and the general staff are just kind of low rent. People with lousy attitudes definitely not high-end service.
