When I arrived I had to check in with a virtual assistant. But as we were finishing up a live person came back to the desk. She upgraded our room to an Executive Suite. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Only thing I wasn’t happy about is that the pool was closed. We had some time to kill so wanted to go to the pool but was not able to.

Stayed in December its was great stayed at the end of January and it wasn’t the same. The tap water smelled awful for the first few days Other guests in the building were loud banging on doors after 10pm and the ice machines were all out of order.

The staircase to go up to our floor had completely crumbled and dilapidated and was unusable. The elevator actually stopped working so we were trapped in the second floor because they scheduled painting at 7 AM the morning that we had woke up and we weren’t aloud to pass by to the second set of stairs. We woke up to pressure washing and painting. Then we couldn’t leave our room because the hallway was covered in paint. I got bit by a spider in the bed while sleeping.

Walked into the room to find a dead roach in the middle of the floor. Not surprising since you could slide your hand under the door to the room as there was no door sweep. Room was supposed to be a non-smoking but clearly was not from the smell. Air conditioner was leaking water and clearly had been for some time given that the flooring was warped and saturated. Shower had low pressure and you had to duck to get under the shower head. Did not attempt the pool as it looked dirty. The convenient location to shopping and dining spots was the only good thing about the stay.

I booked this room for 2 reasons: 1. Close to the facility where I have to take my NCLEX Nursing board examination, I wanted to make sure I got a good night's rest before I take the test. 2. There was a pool to relax in. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the pool was out of order, and for an unknown reason, I was placed in a handicap room with an adjacent door. My neighbor was playing loud music and singing along, which was disturbing. I informed the front desk, and someone came out to talk to him. There was a brief relief from his miserable whaling, but then he resumed till 11:30. I called the front desk, no answer, went outside in my PJs to talk to someone, and was referred to the kiosk. I was informed, someone would come and check. Nothing happened, I briefly fell asleep and awoke because of a big noise. I called the front desk again, no answer. I heard my neighbor go outside. I asked him politely to stop the music; it was past midnight, and he reeked of marijuana. He nodded and went inside. Music started again, and the whaling continued. I heard the security guard. I told him what was going on, and he spoke to the neighbor. By then, it must have been 1 AM. Around 2:30 AM, I was awoken by a phone call. The security guy called, said he was returning the missed calls from earlier that night. I think I slept maybe 4- 5 hours. There was no breakfast, just snacks, and the orange machine was out of order.

I hope you don’t want to use their pool in warm Florida. They close it at “sundown” every day. That means 5:30ish this time of year. Very disappointing to pay ~$700 for a weeks stay. Other than that it wasn’t awful. A lot of people hanging around outside at night which we didn’t care for. Breakfast was mediocre. Nothing hot unless you count the pancakes made from a machine. One evening we came back to our room and found out from our next door neighbor that the door was left open all day from housecleaning. Reported it and she said she would put it in her report. Didn’t hear anything back about it. Luckily nothing was taken that we could figure out.

Our first room had five German cockroaches and smelled immediately upon arrival. The manager on duty gave us a new room which was clean and nice. If you stay just make sure you give it a thorough inspection before putting your stuff down.

Spilled water on the floor & wiped it with a white hand towel. That towel turned black from the dirty floor. Shower & need we're good. There was no staff when I checked in. Only a machine with a screen to a guy somewhere??? Breakfast had no protein .

there were cockroaches! cockroaches everywhere. We went back twice to try to get our money back after we left and they said that they were going to release it, but we haven’t seen a dime.. we got in late three in the morning, and there was babies on the dresser, and then when we move the bed, they were screwing around. To be fair, it may have been contained to our one room since we didn’t find any evidence in my Children’s room. But the way they handled it was terrible. They just got rid of us promised to give us some money back..but 7 days later nothing!

The room we had was close to the street and we could hear all the loud cars passing by. The room smelled of smoke and the carpets were sticky and dirty. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was included with our reservations.

This Days Inn by Wyndham in Port Charlotte was clean, exceptionally well-priced, and a great value. We just had one night stay as we are traveling, but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and maintained the hotel was. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful and kind and seemed to take her job responsibilities very seriously and with care. I would definitely recommend this hotel for one night stop as you are traveling to other Florida destinations.

The property, location, and service was all very wonderful. The only issue I had was the door handle/lock. My partner and I couldn’t get it to open! One of us had to stay in the room to let the other one in! It was insanity!

We arrived for a late check in and were directed to a kiosk with a remote worker. After the machine was unable to issue our room keys, she called the hotel and a worker came out to help us. The virtual check in was unnecessary. The room was fine. The toilet was wobbly and at one point the sink stopper got stuck (hubby fixed). We got what we paid for, it was fine for the quick weekend trip to watch my son play baseball. Hidden gem was the Hometown Grill across the parking lot. Great, reasonably priced breakfast.

We stayed here a couple of times the rooms are nice. It was reasonably clean. Our biggest complaint was the bed was so high. I couldn’t get in it. I’m 54 and I could not get in the bed without help from my husband or standing on a suitcase. The bed was higher than my waist. I know they’re trying to save their employees backs while changing beds and they should have a stepstool in the rooms. It’s unsafe.

I had to give a refundable deposit of $100 on May 12, 2025. They said it would be back in my bank account in 3 days. It has been over a month and I have still not received my refundable deposit. I have written 2 emails and called them and talked to 2 people that assured me I would receive it. I haven’t and I would remove them from your Expedia list. They are not an honest company and I am a senior on a limited budget and needed that $100.

Staff was great though not coming out to meet the gusts by using a kiosk was cold and unfriendly. Staff sould greet each guest, in person, as we were entering the hotel as they would at home. Breakfast wasn't breakfast it was just wrapped processed food like Hostess, donuts. Hard for folks to stomach & nothing healthy. They could at least have an assortment of fruit, like bananas, apples, oranges, or even yogurt in a mini Refrigerator.

The room was decent—nothing fancy. TV remote needed batteries. We called front office twice and they told us both times they’d be right there. Never showed. Next four days no TV. They have the battery compartment inaccessible with a tiny screw, otherwise I would have changed the batteries myself. Poor service.

I booked this room for 2 reasons: 1. Close to the facility where I have to take my NCLEX Nursing board examination, I wanted to make sure I got a good night's rest before I take the test. 2. There was a pool to relax in. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the pool was out of order, and for an unknown reason, I was placed in a handicap room with an adjacent door. My neighbor was playing loud music and singing along, which was disturbing. I informed the front desk, and someone came out to talk to him. There was a brief relief from his miserable whaling, but then he resumed till 11:30. I called the front desk, no answer, went outside in my PJs to talk to someone, and was referred to the kiosk. I was informed, someone would come and check. Nothing happened, I briefly fell asleep and awoke because of a big noise. I called the front desk again, no answer. I heard my neighbor go outside. I asked him politely to stop the music; it was past midnight, and he reeked of marijuana. He nodded and went inside. Music started again, and the whaling continued. I heard the security guard. I told him what was going on, and he spoke to the neighbor. By then, it must have been 1 AM. Around 2:30 AM, I was awoken by a phone call. The security guy called, said he was returning the missed calls from earlier that night. I think I slept maybe 4- 5 hours. There was no breakfast, just snacks, and the orange machine was out of order.

This Days Inn by Wyndham in Port Charlotte was clean, exceptionally well-priced, and a great value. We just had one night stay as we are traveling, but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and maintained the hotel was. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful and kind and seemed to take her job responsibilities very seriously and with care. I would definitely recommend this hotel for one night stop as you are traveling to other Florida destinations.

That was probably the nicest Days Inn I've ever been to, very nice comfortable rooms. Next door to the motel is a great little nightclub with live music and great food and drinks. Next time I would get a room on the back side away from the traffic noise on the main road but other than that it was very nice.

Booked 2 rooms. Both were exceptionally clean and the virtual check in was quick and easy. The hotel is located in a prime location with access to many restaurants and the one next door (Grill 1951) is an excellent choice. Great value for the price!

Staff was great though not coming out to meet the gusts by using a kiosk was cold and unfriendly. Staff sould greet each guest, in person, as we were entering the hotel as they would at home. Breakfast wasn't breakfast it was just wrapped processed food like Hostess, donuts. Hard for folks to stomach & nothing healthy. They could at least have an assortment of fruit, like bananas, apples, oranges, or even yogurt in a mini Refrigerator.

Arrived Friday evening. Walked in to our room and there was a giant cockroach above the door. They changed our room out immediately. Woke up the next morning to shower and the shower didn’t work. Asked for a room change and the lady was reluctant. She said maintenance had to confirm it first. So maintenance came to our room and asked us what was wrong with the shower. He never entered the room he just said he would give us a new room. Moved us down a few doors. This room was next to the original room that had a large roach in it. We noticed the roach room was already occupied by someone else. We have been staying here for convenience of our visit but it has just gotten worse since our first visit. One of our rooms had a 2” gap under the door. We have seen bed bugs on other occasions. The staff is decent but they are forced to deal with a run down hotel.

My stay at the hotel with my wife from out of town for 4 days was Fine and staff was Helpful and friendly! Issues tho were I’ll start is the Bed is too damn Firm and is a Back killer! The pillows given are to small and soft. During stay found cockroach in restroom which not good sign but only saw 1! Other issue is Bathrooms don’t have vents so if your significant other goes potty it will smell bad and linger into room
