The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They made you feel as though you were staying at a friend's place. The breakfast and evening drinks are a nice touch. We will be booking again next concert we go to in St Pete.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice quiet room--nothing fancy but very cozy and comfortable. Wanted to stay another night just to hang around for their happy hour again! Oh--and they have a parking lot right next to the front door, which is a big deal for this area.

Really enjoyed our recent two night stay here. Centrally located with easy parking next to the building. It is well positioned to be able to walk to downtown and waterfront to sample the local nightlife but far enough away to not be disturbed by any noise. The breakfast offering is also a nice touch. Would definitely stay again if we were back in the area.

The Inn on Third was an oasis in the middle of a busy city; away from the hustle and bustle but close to all the major activities, restaurants, and pubs. The rooms were clean, the continental breakfast had fruits, cereal,pastries and more. The complimentary glass of wine in the afternoon was a nice touch. Complimentary parking on the Inn's grounds was available. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Charming boutique hotel with quite a history in the center of it all. The owners and staff are fantastic. Excellent location and great free off street reserved parking next to the property. Comfortable room with good AC. Enjoyed the free drink at happy hour. This will be the first hotel I look at on future St Pete trips.

The Inn on Third is comfortable and intimate, sort of like a big, quaint B&B. Service is wonderful. The room and bathroom are a bit small, as is the TV. Breakfast is quite nice; you will find yourself sitting with the other guests. The location is excellent--right in downtown St. Petersburg. The area appears to be safe. Lots of free parking right at the hotel. If I go back to St. Pete, I'll stay at this hotel again.

Centrally located near everything that matters and a 20 drive to the beach, where there is tons of parking. This is a really beautiful Inn that has an antique feel, but feels just like being at home. At first we thought the room was small but it was more than enough. A comfortable bedroom and a full bathroom. Everything was clean and quiet. It's a notch up from a bed and breakfast with an evening social hour and a perfectly simple breakfast. Staff and owners make you feel like family and supply great tips about the area. I honestly can't wait to come back!

My husband and I attended a concert at Janus and booked this hotel to stay over after the concert. The room was clean and cozy. The lobby area was lovely with continental breakfast and a happy hour. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we're in downtown St. Pete again, this would be our first choice of places to stay.

Online pics show rooms with new-ish furniture and freshly refurbished rooms. In actuality our room was very small and both the furniture and the room itself were well-worn. The good exceptions … new carpet and very clean. Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful.

Nice family owned property. Friendly and helpful staff. Property is old but well kept. Our bed was hard and not very comfortable. We didn’t make a complaint about it. We figured it was just our opinion, but we did not sleep well, Breakfast was simple but plentiful. Nice happy hour each evening.

Just like the title says. It's an old looking place but I'm sure that's a plus to some people. The room was comfortable but may need some updates. The TV speakers don't work very well and the mattresses on the beds may need to be replaced soon. The room was clean and quiet and provided everything that you would need. I don't think they have an elevator at all so keep that in mind. The biggest positive about this place is the people who work there. They were very friendly and helpful. If you like to socialize and drink, they do have a social hour every evening that some people might really enjoy. My friend and I don't drink so we didn't really attend. The next biggest positive is its closeness to downtown. You can take the free shuttle or walk to some really nice restaurants and museums. Despite all of its needs for an update, I would definitely stay here again.

I think a stay here is a good value. But you should understand what "value" means. The location is great, within walking distance of most of downtown St. Pete, restaurants, bars, shops, museums, etc. That, plus a continental breakfast, free off-street parking and a free drink for happy hour along with a relatively low price, drive the value. Just be aware as (at least our) room was small and dated with badly beat up baseboards, worn furniture, a camper-sized TV, and in need of a coat of paint. The West side is next to a busy street that you will hear. The window unit AC will cycle on/off continuously and this is a spring bed mattress. Just depends on your priorities.

Do yourself a favour and stay here if you are in St. Pete’s! Absolutely adored our stay at the Inn on Third. The location was easy to reach, parking for the hotel was amazing and the hotel itself was lovely! Really amazing decor style, and the property itself was well taken care of. The staff are phenomenal, Brian was amazing, super helpful about everything in the local area and couldn’t have done more to make our stay as pleasant and memorable as possible! A brilliant hotel with amazing staff, I would 100% stay again if I’m in the area.

Apparently, this property closes their check-in at 9 pm although they are still at front desk till 10 pm. They don’t have disabled access!!! The luggage must be lifted upstairs twice even for the first floor room! Their “evening social” is over at 7 pm, so no welcome drink after 7, with fake excuse about “Florida license issue”. They send their guests message about early and limited check-in but do not mention free drink 5-7 pm. Aweful communication! Two orphan beds pretend to be cute but they are just tiny and uncomfortable. Overall, this place is seriously overrated and doesn’t worth the money paid. Will never stay here again.

Our stay at the Inn on Third was great! Brian and Stephanie do an amazing job :-) The lobby is very quaint with a wonderful fresh breakfast every morning. Yes, this is an older building, built in the 1930s, but if you appreciate that style this is a wonderful place to stay. It is clean, comfortable, and charming!

Ok first of all the host was super cool…very professional as well as attentive to my cable box which she swapped out crazy fast….for sure I will be back oh and she allowed me to early check in which again was super cool and the place had a great charm, very cozy like I just got home feeling. I came to St. Pete this weekend to attend a Comic-Con at the Coliseum and this Inn was right within walking distance and had great reviews, so I decided to book my stay here and I’m so glad I did! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Brian helped me when I first got there and him and his family were so nice, he told me a bunch about the area and was actually interested in why I was in town. Everyone I met took the time to talk to you and make sure your stay was going well, absolutely amazing costumer service! I am autistic and pretty introverted and I was staying here alone this weekend (my dad came with me, but he came along last minute so he had to stay at a different hotel farther away) so I was very nervous about staying at a hotel in a different state alone for the first time. But the friendliness of the staff and just the overall atmosphere made me feel comfortable staying here and I had a really great stay! It’s a very vintage style building which I thought was really cool, and it’s within walking distance of a ton of restaurants/fast food and things to do (the coliseum, pier, museums, parks, etc.). If you’re looking for a nice, quiet and “homey” place to stay for a weekend or longer with great staff, I definitely recommend booking a room here! I plan on attending next years Comic-Con and will definitely be coming back to stay here if I do!

What an awesome location in the heart of St. Petersburg. You’re basically located right in between all of the cool things to do and there are two FREE transit trollies easy walking distance from the front door. \xa0 That front door will almost always be opening for you because the concierge Bryan (assuming the owner or one of the owners) rushes out when he sees you coming so that you don’t have to get your scan card out. He’s always open to conversation and has a good read on when to keep it short and pleasant. Same with the gentleman (we think Ed) that operates the evening shift. Super friendly guys that contributed to making our stay a memorable one, especially Bryan, who we had the opportunity to speak to throughout our stay, including our last day during breakfast and past breakfast lol. Tasty continental type of breakfast with some hot eats is provided every morning in the front seating area. \xa0 The rooms are all uniquely furnished in a nice old time meets modern amenity type of décor considering it’s an older building. A tad smaller than most hotel rooms but they were super comfortable and met our needs. We originally picked this place because of the Inn type of ambiance where everyone is respectful and the noise level is kept to a minimum regardless of what time of day or night it is. Plenty of parking located right beside the Inn. I’d definitely stay here again and easily recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We were well taken care of.

Really enjoyed our recent two night stay here. Centrally located with easy parking next to the building. It is well positioned to be able to walk to downtown and waterfront to sample the local nightlife but far enough away to not be disturbed by any noise. The breakfast offering is also a nice touch. Would definitely stay again if we were back in the area.

Location was great, walking distance to a lot of places. Hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and gave good recommendations, asked us how we were from day to day. Breakfast was sufficient. Hotel is "historical" but don't be turned off by that. The rooms are clean and well cared for.

Older place, with some charm, but relatively small rooms. Very convenient location, including close to free trolley stop. Pretty good breakfast, and wine in the evenings was a nice touch. Guests tend to congregate in lobby area and talk, which was nice.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They made you feel as though you were staying at a friend's place. The breakfast and evening drinks are a nice touch. We will be booking again next concert we go to in St Pete.

Friendliness of the staff was outstanding. Only one thing I noticed that could have been less than five was some of the paint on the doorframe was a little chipped dated. I mean that’s being really really nitpicky. This place was great. Bathrooms clean good water pressure and lots of toiletries. Bed was very comfortable. Ac was good. Super convenient location. Lots of really nice antique furniture. No pool but nice patio area. No hot breakfast but pastries bagels cereal yogurt hard boiled eggs coffee. It was good.

Really enjoyed an alternative to a hotel chain stay. Walking up a flight of stairs was not an issue. There wasn't quite enough table seating for everyone at breakfast but others sat on sofas with a coffee table. The hosts managed our unexpected late arrival due to weather and emailed my receipt due to my very early departure. Comfortable room and bath and very reasonable price!

Stayed for a week. More like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Great location with restaurants, shopping, parks, movie theaters, the pier, groceries, etc. within a 10 minute walk. When it's too hot, you can take the free bus or trolley. The management were friendly and approachable. Breakfast is basic, but a great way to start the day with coffee, juice, 2 fruits, cereals, breads, boiled eggs and small muffins. The nightly social offers one free beer or wine and only $2 each for extra. Also $1 bottled water and soda. The rooms are small, and there is wear and tear, but they are clean and comfortable with a dresser, mini fridge, desk and chair, another chair, bedside tables with lamps, a ceiling fan, a tiny closet, and even tinier TV, a very cold AC unit, and a private bathroom with a shower tub combination. Also, no carpet and a clean, but small, bed. We never had a problem finding a parking space, but once there was only one space left and fortunately we got it. We felt appreciated as guests. It was quiet and safe. Overall, it was a great stress-free environment to not only sleep but to escape from the heat. Definitely recommend.

This was my second time staying at The Inn on Third, and it was as excellent as my first trip. Staying here is like staying in a friend's home. Sure, the rooms are on the small side and the tv in the rooms are also small, but there's a continental breakfast in the morning and an evening social from 5 to 7 pm each night, with your first beer or glass of wine on the house - and others beyond that only $2 each. Brian and Stephanie make everyone feel right at home, and it's terrific to sit in the lobby area (more like a living room) and talk with other guests. Both times I was there to see my White Sox play the Rays at Tropicana Field, and it's a straight 25-minute walk to the stadium - with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops along the way. Love this place - and can also highly recommend the Voodoo Brewing Company right around the corner; it's also staffed with incredibly friendly folks, has an excellent selection of beers, and has a menu of beyond-bar-food.
