Upon arrival, it looked nothing like the picture. The elevator is out of service, so you have to walk stairs. My sister has a torn meniscus. I explained this to the front desk staff. He said I should have asked for an accessible room(she is not handicapped), refused to move us and said if we canceled our reservation, they would keep the first night's stay....even though they are the ones with the broken elevator. Please note the enjoyment of carrying all of our luggage, cooler, and pets up and down the stairs. All of the fire extinguisher boxes have had the glass busted out and all fire extinguishers but a couple were missing. There was wiring for the air conditioner hanging down and Jerry rigged around the a/c cord, with connectors exposed. The lighting was horrible. Both beds were tacos. We rolled to the middle. We had to turn the mattress. We needed towels for the pool. We were told the laundry hadn't been done. The pool was the only thing advertised correctly, but we couldn't use it because we couldn't get towels. When I went to exchange towels, housekeeping took the towels from me, then said they didn't have anymore, to go to the front desk. The front desk clerk didn't not believe I had given the towels to housekeeping. He all but accused me of stealing his cheap hotel towels. The gentleman in the morning was professional and courteous, every other member of staff we encountered looked and spoke to us like we were beneath them and were less than friendly.

Ice machine did not work. Coffee in room did not work. Walls were half painted. Toliet paper holder was missing. Refrigerated cabnet was missing. No outside sign to see where it was located, GPS kept saying it was there, but entrance was one street over.

What could be changed? Spray for bugs. Maybe put a blanket on the bed, instead of the very lightest of, I don't know what it was, a super-thin quilt? And fix the dripping tub spout. And fix the elevator. And open the pool. And fix the smell in the lobby. Yikes. Stay away.

The bathroom was dirty. The “ clean towels” had black stains on them. The fist room I had smelled of smoke. The second room smelled of old housing/mildew. The floors I couldn’t walk on without shoes. The outside area was very dirty. The vending machines were filled with spider webs and smelled of urine. The ice machine had scum and dirt. Overall the stay was below subpar. I will not be staying at this location again.

Very nice personnel, but the hotel is older, room interiors are worn. The floor didn't feel clean. All rooms are by exterior entry, which isn't obvious in the picture. Pool was clean and nice.

The rooms were absolutely filthy. I had to switch to 2-3 different rooms to get a semi clean room for the night. There were black marks and fingerprints all over the door and the walls. There were pubic hairs all over the sink, and the floors were filthy. Dirt, dust, and debris all over the carpet and tile. Like it hasn't been vacuumed or swept in months. The bathtub was disgusting. The "white" towels were stained black. Same with the bed sheets and there was a weird smoke smell in the "non-smoking" room. Oh, and the volume didn't work on the remote control. The TV was so loud I had to turn it off. If it wasn't snowing, I would have left.

Although staff is very nice and efficient the room was less than clean. There was mold on the walls, there were roaches on the floor and the overall state was not good. I had booked this room for a night stay for my mother and she was not happy. I noticed the pillows were a little dirty so we laid cloth on top when sleeping. The bathroom is absolutely terrible, everything is either stained or looks dirty. Overall I would not recommend anyone staying here.

I dont know where to begin. With the good first: the receptionist was great. Super friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The bad: no cleanliness. The room smelled like a smokers room. There were hairs on the sink and tub. And the worst out of all- urine stains and poop stains under the toilet seat! I have never seen something like this. Literally the cleaning person is stealing his/her salary. This is incredible.

Room was infested with roaches. The fridge was broken , there was an empty space in half the room where a table was supposed to be and the room was overall dirty and unkempt. By day 3 of what was supposed to be a 7 day stay, we booked elsewhere and left. I also saw a child doing the housekeeping on property on the morning of my check out which was sort of shocking and very telling. I would not recommend ever staying here. This property is not in a condition that the average traveler would be able to stomach as it stands today. A lot of people are also living in the front two buildings.

The pictures when I booked were acceptable but when I got there not what I was expecting. The lobby and check in service was decent but the room was something else, the cleaning was basic you did not want to put anything on the floor and an electrical plug was falling out if the wall with 6 things plugged into it. Later into the evening I started noticing some bugs crawling on the bathroom counter and noticed it was roaches , I counted 5 at that time. They ran from me going behind the mirror, later more roaches on the walls, front door and floor, at some point we went to the office to complain and was given another room which was better I saw no bugs. I will not stay there again and needs alot of improvement

Our room was very damp -- a film of moisture on everything, like the humidity was condensing on all surfaces. Surprised everything wasn't moldy or mildewed. The floor was dirty -- we had to wash our feet of we walked barefoot in the room. The mattress was old and needs to be replaced. We will never stay here again.

Woah. I showed up and my original room wasn’t available. They gave me a room key that didn’t work. I went back and got a new room key for a new room. When I got to the room, the floor was covered in dirt, only some of the light fixtures worked. The toilet didn’t look like it had been cleaned. Overall the room was very worn down and needing of repair. When I got into the shower and grabbed the bottle of conditioner left for me, it had human stool on it. I can’t even make this stuff up. The area around the hotel was horrible, boarded up buildings, storage containers in the back parking lot, honestly didn’t feel safe at all given the fact that I arrived after dark. The sign on the front door clearly says no smoking, but the two employees at the front desk when I arrived smelled of smoke and the entire lobby did as well. Very disappointing.

Only 1 chair at each table, not many options. The bed was comfy but the pillows were too small and misshapen. The air conditioner leaked and we had to put a towel on the floor. We didnt want to take showers because the tub was dirty. The floors were dirty. The Dish tv kept going out. There were 4 channels that came in decent but often therr was nothing on. The info wasnt available so most of the time you dont know what youre even watching. Netflix wouldn't let me sign in and any other streaming app wasnt allowed to be added.

Supposedly we were in one of the newly renovated rooms! I would hate to know what the older rooms looked like. Full beds verses queen. The faux wood floors were dirty, The tub was dirty. Burn marks on bathroom counter. The carpenter must have been drunk! It was the worse install I’ve ever seen. There was a spot for frig and microwave but nothing there. We were told we would have to upgrade for mini frig and microwave. Pool area was filthy. Not a decent chair to sit on. Don’t understand why this one is so bad and the one in Brandon, FL is so nice. Also it was over $200 a nite due to it being graduation weekend🙁

Upon arrival, it looked nothing like the picture. The elevator is out of service, so you have to walk stairs. My sister has a torn meniscus. I explained this to the front desk staff. He said I should have asked for an accessible room(she is not handicapped), refused to move us and said if we canceled our reservation, they would keep the first night's stay....even though they are the ones with the broken elevator. Please note the enjoyment of carrying all of our luggage, cooler, and pets up and down the stairs. All of the fire extinguisher boxes have had the glass busted out and all fire extinguishers but a couple were missing. There was wiring for the air conditioner hanging down and Jerry rigged around the a/c cord, with connectors exposed. The lighting was horrible. Both beds were tacos. We rolled to the middle. We had to turn the mattress. We needed towels for the pool. We were told the laundry hadn't been done. The pool was the only thing advertised correctly, but we couldn't use it because we couldn't get towels. When I went to exchange towels, housekeeping took the towels from me, then said they didn't have anymore, to go to the front desk. The front desk clerk didn't not believe I had given the towels to housekeeping. He all but accused me of stealing his cheap hotel towels. The gentleman in the morning was professional and courteous, every other member of staff we encountered looked and spoke to us like we were beneath them and were less than friendly.

Just finding the office was hard enough, with the peculiar layout of the property. When I got to the room, I did a double-take. Where was all the furniture? There was a huge space with no couch, no table, no chair, and no side table where they obviously should have been. I could have set up a pool table in the open space, but I was tired. I went back to the front desk to ask about it, and they offered to change my room, but then I would have had to load up all my stuff again, and probably re-park the car, and all I wanted to do was sleep, so why bother? On closer inspection, there was missing wall trim, an obviously broken door frame into the bathroom, the floor was dirty and clearly in need of sanding and refinishing, and the location was no great shakes either, but I can't blame them for that. But I can blame them for the condition of the room, which was appalling. I've stayed at La Quinta's many times in the past, and always thought they were decent and a reasonable deal, but this place was among the worst motels I've stayed in, and I go back to the days when we could get a room for $6.00, rather than go across the street and get the $4.00 room.

Clean room, nice property so the stay is fine. A lack of disclosures prior to submitting payment is unethical. They ask at check in, AFTER paying, if there are any “pets”. They disclose AFTER paying that there’s a security deposit required. They fail to notify after checkout if the security deposit is released. FULL disclosure: my dog is not a “pet”; it’s a service animal and you’re not entitled to charge for a service animal.

Room had no trash can, asked the front desk about it and they said they would send someone to bring one. Nobody ever brought one. Floors were so dirty they would turn your feet black. Either the previous guest or a housekeeper had unplugged the fridge, so it was still cold when we put our food in but all of the food was warm when we woke up. Complained to the manager who was so rude and basically told me it was my fault. Did not want to do anything to help us and his attitude was awful. Had to call orbits to get them to batter him down into some kind of compensation. He wanted receipts for everything that was spoiled (which I did not have all my receipts) and even then shorted me on the pay back. Hotel keys kept not working and the front desk was rude every time like it was my fault their door was broken. I never expect much from a cheap motel but go to literally any other motel in Tallahassee.

I came back to the hotel room at night after being out all day to find my door wide open. I then discovered there were multiple doors open. I had 2 rooms and I knew another couple that had a room as well and their door was open. Upon telling the front desk, who didn’t seem to care, he just said it’s okay, it’s okay. He said the painter painted our doors and he’s supposed to be out there watching them. But he was no where to be found. Personally I think if I’m running a hotel I don’t have the painter paint doors of occupied rooms.

Try to check in at 9:30 at night. I went through three rooms one was filthy the second one the TV didn’t work. The third one was filthy and the TV didn’t work and the fourth one the TV didn’t work, but I took it because I was just fto Ttired I wouldn’t stay there on a l. Terrible stay could not get a refund because he told me I got a third-party person because I use Expedia to get the room. I said whatever didn’t offer me a discount didn’t offer. Nothing didn’t even apologize last time La Quinta.

It was storming. Required a room for several days possibly on floor level because of an elderly client with disabilities. The hotel was very accommodating and personally excorted to help locate the room when unable to locate. Also we were needing a frig and microwave because of the visit being an extended stay and the hotel was able to make that request possible. Made the stay very comfortable. Thank you for working through the process with patience, kindness and consideration.

It was in a nice central location. I didn't stay two of the nights I purchased but it seemed safe enough aside from a few loud arguments between a couple that was staying in one of the rooms. It seemed like people may live there long term in some of the rooms like an apartment? Biggest issue was the roaches. I get that they're kind of everywhere, I lived in Tallahassee years ago, but, it was nasty and they were all over. Otherwise, it was a decent stay.

Terrible neighborhood. The drive up to the lobby was filthy. Inside the lobby was unclean. Very cheap looking materials and desk. Drove around to the rear of the complex for our room. Felt unsafe. Buildings in run-down condition. Dark un-illuminated area. Parking lot hodge-podge and unkept. Inside room looked like a by-the-hour hotel. Cheap bedspread and cheap furnishings. Best part was leaving.

Also, the clientele are mostly construction workers so its quiet at night, but you have construction workers loitering around in the parking lots at night. Also, the breakfast was horrible. Just a waffle machine, cereal, and bagels. No eggs, or meat. So its not really continental. The pool looked nice.

Ok so, the Place requires a $100 deposit at check in My TV DIDNT work, remote either, Big room and the bathroom needed a bit more cleaning, Hot shower was great and it was a very spacious room . SERVES BREAKFAST BUT U DO NEED TO GET THERE AS SOON AS IT STARTS AT 6AM. (to 9am) I got there by 730am and omg. Most was gone .

The room was dirty. Tv don't work. Big dry splash in the walls of coffee or soda. Was a desk chair dirty you can't sit on. The bathroom sink was hanging. And the A/C was dripping the condenser water to inside the room. I have photos and videos to proof. The staff doesn't speak English well. So was a really bad communication. Never staying at that hotel again.

My disabled son had an accident while sleeping/soiled towels and mind you all white (bleach is a wonderful thing). The TV stopped working halfway through the stay, the toilet had issues flushing and of course not even a plunger in the room and the sink in the bathroom leaked at the spicket and underneath the sink splattering all over the floor. They kept half the deposit of 100.00 up front. They do NOT have breakfast, they have waffles, prepackaged cereal, grits and oatmeal.. oh and a few bagels and plain bread. Really crappy for the price. Spend a bit more and go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, we had to request a cancellation because the room was in very poor condition. The shower had visible dirt/mold, and the bed sheets were stained and did not appear clean. The hotel gave us a second room to try, but it was in a similar condition and also did not feel properly cleaned or maintained.

My wife and I both were bitten by bed bugs. I had multiple bug bites on my scalp, arm, wrist, and legs. My wife had bites on her arms, head, back, and hips. We had to throw way our luggage, and rewashed all of clothes, and once home deep cleaned our house as a precaution. Mark Woodburn

Check in was smooth. That was the only thing that I can say positive about this motel. Upon entering our room, I found mold growing on the toilet lid and the seat itself. The shower was covered in mildew and unclean Theres a homeless camp in the parking lot. We were up all night due to the noise and screaming and yelling from people. I never leave reviews for my stays but this entire experience needs to be documents. DO NOT STAY HERE!

My next room the TV was not working as it look like someone took cable cords and repair guys was nice and fix issue. Truly believe I need a refund for first night as I was very uncomfortable and seem to complain on both days I stayed at this location.
