Homewood Suites by Hilton Tallahassee

Maybe a bit run down and not the cleanest but not bad the staff was nice and I think they keep it as nice as they can considering the obvious age of the facility. Did the job in a pinch but we only stayed one night.

Facilities and convenience

Travelled small family. Was put on lower level, nice suite. Room was clean and spacious. Many food options. Staff courteous. They had a "happy hour" from 5pm to 7pm.

Everything was great except the elevator which made an aggressive, super-scary lurch that made us all look at each other. It stopped and we thought it was stuck and we would die (kidding). Then it started again and we were safe. Whew! Adventure!

we stayed twice at this hotel. both times our experience was pleasant. the breakfast was great, the front desk staff were great. the 2-room suite was large. the gym is small-the only negative

Very convenient for our short trip moving our daughter into her college apartment. Hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Many food choices, shopping and close to interstate. Would definitely stay here again.

The filthyest, dirtiest Hilton branded hotel we have ever visited. I’ve complained to Hilton. They should either adhere to the Hilton standard, or take the Hilton name of this place. People next to us had to be moved because they had fleas in their room. Our room was just worn out and dirty, when we were told it was a ‘renovated room’. We arrived at midnight and construction started at 8:30 on the floor below us. I do have to say, that the staff was all very nice (especially Jonathan), this is obviously none of their fault.

overall cleanliness subpar semi friendly staff Housekeeping poor, new towels only. no bed spread, coffee refill, etc.

There was never any hot water when we showered. It was always warm but never hot. We took showers in the evening and in the morning and it was always the same. Also, please provide a breakfast meat option for those of us that do not eat beef or pork. I overheard another customer who was also disappointed there was no turkey or chicken sausage option

Staff is wonderful, my teenage daughter said it felt like we were family! Rooms are huge and quiet. Only negatives are some of the vents were rusted and in order to have a hot shower, the water flow ended up really low

Quiet, huge rooms, great shower, comfortable beds, great TV options, and a breakfast that puts IHOP to shame.

This is a nice property with spacious, comfortable rooms. My room was in the back, so noise was a non issue. Staff was courteous and check in and out was quick.

The breakfast offered many options. The coffee was fresh 24/7. The bed was clean and comfortable. Lots of extra bedding for sofa bed. All furniture in the suite was clean and comfy.

The staff was incredibly friendly and nice. Very welcoming. The room was perfectly chilled. The pillows were the oNLY thing that was not perfect. And while it seems ridiculous to complain about a pillow... they are super thin, tiny and even with two of them put together and folded over, they barely made one complete pillow! But other than that, the stay was awesome. Excellent value.

Tiara was exceptional! She prepared breakfast for us and it was delicious each day of our stay. She was also warm and inviting.

The room layout was great!The staff couldn’t have been nicer and friendly! Sally introduced herself to us at breakfast and offered assistance with anything we needed. The breakfast was a good variety and not bad. The hotel layout was confusing, but all in all it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

Check in staff member was very helpful and welcomed us with a warm smile. Check out day morning staff member was not so friendly, never once smiled or answered my questions in a helpful manner.

I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites in Tallahassee and encountered a billing issue that has gone unresolved, leading to a disappointing experience. As a frequent traveler and loyal Hilton Honors member, I expected a level of service that Hilton usually stands for. Unfortunately, this stay fell short. I originally booked a three-night stay. Due to changes in my travel plans, I contacted the hotel staff in advance to ask about adjusting my checkout date, assured there would be no change in the rate. However, upon arriving the hotel had already modified the reservation at an unexpected increased rate. Customer service at the hotel told me they could not do anything and that I needed to email a manager. I reached out to the hotel's guest service manager with a detailed email, including my booking confirmation, and requested that the hotel honor the originally quoted price. It's been several days with no response from the hotel. This lack of communication is uncharacteristic of the Hilton standards of service and has significantly impacted my view of this establishment. I am disappointed not only with the unexpected charge but also with the lack of response to a reasonable request. This experience has left me questioning the consistency of Hilton’s customer service. I hope this review prompts Homewood Suites to address such issues more diligently in the future.
