Nice location and staff was excellent and friendly. Disappointed pool was down “until further notice” and that was not communicated before arrival. One elevator out but that was communicated and did not cause any problems. Property has done a nice cleanup after the hurricanes. Living area had comfortable furniture and kitchen had everything you could need. Very clean and great location. Would stay again.

Just a quick 2 night stay but the property was clean and comfortable. Was surprised at the extras like free chairs and umbrellas, beach towels in the room, a well stocked kitchen and nice washer and dryer. I would recommend the South Beach!

View from balcony was stunning. Sunsets every night. Every room faces the ocean. Room spacious. All amenities you would need in kitchen. Pool was a perfect temperature and area around pool had sufficient chairs. Can’t beat stepping out of condo property onto the best beach.

Location was great with a beautiful view of the gulf. A plus was getting the use of a couple of beach chairs since we traveled by air. There was plenty of towels and supplies like paper towels and soaps. The place could have been cleaned better. There was sand in one of the dining chairs and the floor needed mopped. Bed however was clean and comfortable. One elevator was hit and miss and the other was down our entire stay. The staff was helpful and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Loved that the beach was so close and there was parking, BUT the cleanliness if the hotel was horrible. Im pretty sure they didnt clean at all. There was hair and sand in the bed, dishes with food still caked on put int he cupboards, under the fridge had brown dried up liquid on the floor, stained couches/chairs, bathtub has hair in it and a bunch of black stuff in the cracks and what looked like dirt/grease on the bottom, etc. Ended up going elsewhere to shower. There was also stuff left behind in the drawers from people who stayed before us. I found a dirty sock and a white sheet of some sort with dried up blood splotches on it. At first it didnt seem too bad, but this progressed into new findings until the very last day of my 4 night stay since I was only on the hotel if I had to change clothes or sleep. When I reached out, I was promised a call back and never recieved one. My close family member ended up calling on my behalf due to lack of response 4 days ago and has been recieving a run around since.

Greay property for the price. Location, right on the beach, was amazing! Apartment was spacious and updated. Only dislike was the cleaniness of the tile floors throughout and on the balcony. Lots of sand and dirt throughout causing dirty feet but other than that, great experience!

Location was great! Had a view of the Gulf. Room was well equipped with kitchen items for cooking. Great to have a washer and dryer. Only complaint was the spare linen for the sofa bed did not seem clean. Blanket smelled and spare pillows were awful. We used the sofa bed so it was disappointing. Housekeeping should check on these items.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location is perfect. Like many of the properties in the area, it is sligtly dated. But unlike many others, it is a true condo, complete with a separate bedroom, full kitchen, and full size washer and dryer. The unit was very clean and comfortable. All of the units face the gulf, so that's a plus. And the staff was extremely friendly. They even allow you to use (free of charge) their collection of beach chairs and umbrellas that have been left by previous guests. We will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our wedding anniversary there. The location is convenient, the staff very nice, the view from the condo beautiful, the beach and sunset perfect. They provided beach chairs and towels. The living room furniture needs to be updated. the sofa bed is old, not comfortable at all. On the day it rained and we had to use it to watch movies, it was awful

Overall cant complain, great location beach is close. Room and view were great. Kitchen could use more containers/accesories but thats just me. Bed was not very comfy,but good enough for sleep at night only. Not a deal breaker for me, would recommend.

The room we stayed in was bare bones. It was cheaply done. The location was outstanding. I would recommend a corner room as they are all 2 bedrooms. The one bedroom is ok but small. They also are not pet friendly.

Perfect location and condo was really nice the best part was the washer and dryer in the unit, next time we won’t bring so many clothes bc we can wash easily!!

The staff @ Southbeach was very accommodating...we requested a room with a better view because the room we were given was on the 2nd fl. and had an obstructed view behind the palm trees...the very next day we were relocated to the 6th fl. with a great view...they were genuinely concerned with making our stay enjoyable...the room was clean & well equipped...the customer service was excellent.

The staff @ Southbeach was very accommodating...we requested a room with a better view because the room we were given was on the 2nd fl. and had an obstructed view behind the palm trees...the very next day we were relocated to the 6th fl. with a great view...they were genuinely concerned with making our stay enjoyable...the room was clean & well equipped...the customer service was excellent.

We had a great stay at South Beach. I would stay again. There is only one suggestion I would recommend. At night, when the staff leaves, the front door is left unlocked. Anyone could come in, go up the elevators to any room. It would be safer to use your room key to either open the front door or enter the elevator.

South Beach has been our go-to place for a number of years. Our latest visit was an absolute pleasure, facility was exceptional and the staff superb. The beach view is stunning.

This is the second time I've stayed here. Balcony view of the beach and Gulf is great. Front desk was so helpful. Thr kitchen had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again!

The view was fantastic and the sunsets spectacular from the balcony or hammock. The walk to the beach is only .15 miles, not bad even if you’re carrying the chairs and umbrellas they provide! The pool wasn’t crowded. It wasn’t luxurious, a little dated, but very comfortable and had everything you could need, including lots of space. I was sick the whole time I was there so o didn’t get to walk the path that goes in front of all the hotels but that looked great for an early morning walk or bike ride. The beach was nothing special (and no lifeguard), but it wasn’t crowded and I saw dolphins and manatee in the few hours I was there. The manatee were in knee-deep water! Can’t say much about the surrounding area, but I was able to DoorDash everything I needed. I’d been staying at the Hyatt in Clearwater and needed a place to recover from COVID for a few days before traveling. The Hyatt was gorgeous but I preferred this for the peace and quiet and view. Front desk was often unattended which I didn’t love (hours are 9-5), but the staff was very nice.

There was hair and sand in the bed, dishes with food still caked on put int he cupboards, under the fridge had brown dried up liquid on the floor, stained couches/chairs, bathtub has hair in it and a bunch of black stuff in the cracks and what looked like dirt/grease on the bottom, etc. Ended up going elsewhere to shower. There was also stuff left behind in the drawers from people who stayed before us. I found a dirty sock and a white sheet of some sort with dried up blood splotches on it. At first it didnt seem too bad, but this progressed into new findings until the very last day of my 4 night stay since I was only on the hotel if I had to change clothes or sleep. When I reached out, I was promised a call back and never recieved one. My close family member ended up calling on my behalf due to lack of response 4 days ago and has been recieving a run around since.

I flew to St Pete and had a reservation at LaQuinta by the airport. That was a terrible experience and I couldnt stay there 1 more night.. so when I found south beach had a room on treasure island right on the gulf I was thrilled and jumped on it.. They we very accommodating and knew I was leaving a very bad situation. I was very relieved and we had a perfect rest of the weekend. I will be back!

The property is located in the heart of the town and right on the beach. Great views of the sunsets right from your balcony. Very friendly staff and the unit was stocked with everything we needed (including towels, dish soap, and dishwasher packs). It is a great place to stay with the family.

The only issue I had with property and it is no fault of theirs - the property next door is being totally renovated and at times it was noisy with truck traffic. I was on the north end of building and property being renovated was just to North.

The whole area is gorgeous and extremely clean! There’s several different restaurants and places to shop. There’s also different things to do in the area like parasailing, boat rides, etc. Close walk to the beach, and the beach is really clean!

We enjoyed our wedding anniversary there. The location is convenient, the staff very nice, the view from the condo beautiful, the beach and sunset perfect. They provided beach chairs and towels. The living room furniture needs to be updated. the sofa bed is old, not comfortable at all. On the day it rained and we had to use it to watch movies, it was awful

Overall cant complain, great location beach is close. Room and view were great. Kitchen could use more containers/accesories but thats just me. Bed was not very comfy,but good enough for sleep at night only. Not a deal breaker for me, would recommend.

View from balcony was stunning. Sunsets every night. Every room faces the ocean. Room spacious. All amenities you would need in kitchen. Pool was a perfect temperature and area around pool had sufficient chairs. Can’t beat stepping out of condo property onto the best beach.

Location was great with a beautiful view of the gulf. A plus was getting the use of a couple of beach chairs since we traveled by air. There was plenty of towels and supplies like paper towels and soaps. The place could have been cleaned better. There was sand in one of the dining chairs and the floor needed mopped. Bed however was clean and comfortable. One elevator was hit and miss and the other was down our entire stay. The staff was helpful and overall we enjoyed our stay.

This location is great! It’s family friendly, RIGHT on the beach! Amazing views, easy parking, can walk out on the beach, we go back every year to either this property or the other down the street and it never disappoints. They are constantly keeping up with maintenance and updates and upgrades, front desk is so helpful! I love there’s a full kitchen and washer and dryer in the units, for nights you want to stay in and watch the sunset.. this place never disappoints!

We keep coming back! I think this was our 6th time staying here. Its so convenient! They have chairs and beach towels and sometimes floats, umbrellas amd coolers! They make for an easy beach stay 10 out of 10. We'll be back soon!

Unbelievable view of the gulf. When we reported an issue with the AC, Anna had a repairman there in about a hour. Plenty of room. Never had an issue finding a parking spot just steps from the front door.
