Really close to Centennial Park, Coca Cola and the Aquarium. We parked and walked to each of these. Felt very safe. You need your room key to get go up on the elevator which I liked. Even the front door of the hotel was locked. You either use your room key or use the phone at the entrance… They will let you in. I made a mistake when I booked our room. We needed two beds (3 of us) and I booked one bed. They were able to switch us to a room with two beds. Room was clean, very comfortable bed. I would absolutely stay here again. Breakfast was excellent! Loved the waffles. The people working in the breakfast area were so nice and accommodating. Can you tell we were impressed?!

The BEST shower and room was quiet. The day we checked in the key cards didn't work so had to get and use the app. That was okay. Then the TV wasn't working. After calling a few times they sent someone to fix it. Overall, it didn't really take too long. It also seemed one of the elevators wasn't working for most of our stay. But despite these issues, the hotel was really pretty good.

The hotel accommodated a basic need of quality shelter. I wasn't looking for anything fancy. The hotel was clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was decent. I would stay again. I DO NOT like the parking pass requirement of $36/night. Where am I supposed to park and drag luggage. In a world full of greed and capitalism, The Hamptons (a Hilton Hotel) is no different. Why in the world is parking not included, "free of charge"?

We're EXTREMELY disappointed with the parking situation. There weren't enough spots for all of the residents who paid for parking, and we ended up parking on the street one night. That was totally unacceptable to us. If you charge residents for parking, they should be guaranteed a place to park!!

Basic hotel with a good downtown location walkable to aquarium and centennial park. Clean room and quiet as we were in the 7th floor. Must use room key to get into building and up elevator so that added security is nice. Breakfast is basic so go in knowing you’re getting eggs, potatoes, yogurt, fruit and waffle maker-nothing gourmet. Would stay here again.

The only issue was no direction and teally no where to park to check in and get your room key that then allows you into the parking lot. When you pull up, you have to figure out what youre supposed to do and the likelihood of getting blocked in are good. I actually had a small altercation with a guest checking in. There should be a better solution for this.

We booked a suite. Its an old building that has been well renovated. Front Desk staff was friendly and bery helpful (especially Brandon). Elevator was a little scary (dark and creaky) but no breakdowns. Lights in our suite weren't very bright. Light switches were in odd places. Never understood why hotels only have one chair in the room? Breakfast was good. The staff were not bery accommodating. When they say it ends at 9:30 AM, thats what they mean. The lady (red hair) was putting away plates, napkins, and juice while some of is stragglers were trying to scrap from the leftovers. I guess you have to stop at some time. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

We were in room 311. The carpet is shredding as you walk in the room. The room had a terrible smell. It smelled like cat urine … or like an animal. We arrived late and were exhausted. We also had to leave in a rush to make a passport appointment. If it weren’t for those reasons, we would’ve complained to the front desk. The staff were all really kind at check in.

My room smelled musty. My bathtub drain was clogged. I requested both be fixed & they never were. The windows to the room didn’t open so you couldn’t air it out yourself - but musty made me think mold. I stayed at this location because it had a nice gym and the gym was nice! I wouldn’t stay here again though. The front desk staff was really great. I was here for 2 weeks - so having these issues in my room was a real pain. The lobby area is nice - so I just stayed out of my room when I needed to work late.

The staff was excellent. However, the hotel needs to be throughly cleaned. The carpet was dirty, the couch and chair had stains. The bed was uncomfortable and sounded like it was going to break. The shower had soap scum.

Workers were very professional and nice. Room was a little dirty. No trash bags in trash cans. Stained blood spot on "clean" towels. Bathroom door didnt lock. Fridge went in and out. Just a few minor things but the employees were the best

Stayed here for the Beyonce concert. A easy walk to the Mercedes Benz stadium- around 20 minutes. The room was clean and a good for the price. The breakfast tasted amazing! Probably the best tasting hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! Staff was nice. Parking was safe and space was always available. I really can’t complain.

Rooms are small and I consider the tub shower which is elevated to be unsafe. Must be very careful getting in and out to avoid slipping and falling. Location is great for work purposes to get to Americas Mart.

The beds were uncomfortable and creaky every time you moved. The a/c and thermostat didn’t work right. You could set it as low as 67but it would shut off at 74. It was so warm.

A reasonable place in the Downtown city centre. Easy to go to from the airport via the MATRA train. Ideal location for visiting city centre attractions. Hotel rooms are a bit run down, not very modern, and not well maintained. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful, but no room cleaning or tidying done at all in the 6 days there.

The staff were pleasant, especially the woman greeting people for breakfast. The hotel is in a walkable location to anywhere downtown. Our room was clean but could use some TLC to make it more comfortable. Our bed was uncomfortable and incredibly squeaky with the slightest movement, there was an obvious flood above us in the bathroom with a tin plate on the ceiling that rattled all night, and the shower had barely warm water but the sink got hot which we found strange.

Hotel air conditioning was not working. Hotel must control the air conditioning because all rooms were the same temperature. I had to buy a fan and have it ubered to me at 10:45 pm the first night because it was so hot in the room. Worst hotel experience. Had to move rooms because the first room air and tv didn’t work. Hotel is dated, bathroom was not the cleanest and I had to screw on the bathtub faucet because it wasn’t all the way on. Breakfast area was super hot and air wasn’t working there either. If you like a hot room and hot hotel then this is the one for you.

Yolanda at the desk and every member of staff from the breakfast crew, housekeeping and other front desk crew were extremely kind, helpful and efficient. We were supporting a family member’s recovery at Grady Hospital. Being able to rest and restore at this hotel made such a difference. Thank you all!

First room, the AC didn't work so they switched us to a new room in the middle of the night but that room was preoccupied (sorry to whoever we woke up) after getting into the 3rd room...everything went smoothly. The overnight front desk was kind of rude and annoyed by us needing assistance and pretty sure we woke him up. The manager when we were leaving took care of us tho and took our complaint. Based off of the first experience with front desk, we would have never returned.

Late checkin -after 12am. We liked the convenient location and trusted "Hampton Inn". We had 2 rooms. Desk clerk was rude. He advised $35 parking fee, which we accepted, then he advised we couldn't park in the secured lot because it was full. I asked to clarify the parking charge, since we were not able to park in the secure lot, he then offered me the chance to park on the street or in a nearby parking garage if that's what I wanted. I said of course not-I just need to clarify the $35 parking charge and what that is for, if we can't park in your lot. Thru this he didn't even come close to making me feel like a welcome guest. I wanted to leave because of his attitude but we were traveling with other family and had 2 rooms, it was after midnight, and we were exhausted so we stayed and dealt with him. Next, I verified 1 room was a King and 2nd was 2 queens. He said yes. We ran my debit card for the room plus $100 incidentals and he claimed it was declined. I attempted it 3 more times and all 3 times it declined. We then ran it on another card and he claimed it went thru. When we got to the rooms, they were both King. The one I was in was Accessible - and VERY SMALL. 3 slept in the 1 bed. There was hair in bathroom (not ours) and a used cup on the floor under the desk (not ours). At checkout we found we were charged twice on same room - the first time my debit was run it went through. It declined 3 more times because my credit union had a fraud alert on the account.

The receptionist that checked me in was rude. She never greeted me as a guest. When calling the front desk to advised them the room was not heating up after we were in the room for almost 25 minutes. Her suggestion was to stay in the room for an additional 30 minutes. If need she would place me in another room. Once I texted the number requesting a new room she had me come back downstairs instead of bring a key up which was on the same floor. The front desk made the entire experience horrible with her demeanor, rudeness and her not being customer centric. I even tried to do a light conversation with her to try to lighten the mode and she was still rude, but when she went to the other area behind the desk you could hear her laughing and talking to other staffers.

Staff was outstanding. I travel a lot and have to say I find it rare to be at a place where every interaction I had with staff is a positive and pleasant experience. That was definitely the case with this hotel. Great service, nice facility and convenient to everything. I’d definitely stay here again

Wow! We had a rough day and traveled in to downtown Atl for one day at market. Everything had gone wrong that day and we arrived at 10pm finally! We walked in, looking like we had been through a war, and met Autumn at the front desk. What a breath of fresh air! She was such a joy, and recognized we were disheveled, and totally turned our day around. She could not have been nicer and even upgraded our room. I am in the customer service industry and I wish I had 100 Autumns!! I literally got to my room and just cried. She "made my day" and went above and beyond! I have stayed many places downtown over my 30 years in business, but not any more. I will always stay at the Hampton Inn downtown Atlanta from now on. You are truly blessed to have her! I checked out two days early due to a change in plans, fully expecting the hotel might be able to resell the room. Despite this, I was denied even a partial refund. I understand policies are in place, but it’s frustrating when a business benefits from rebooking a room I vacated and still charges me in full. The stay itself was fine—location is convenient, and the room was clean—but the customer service around flexibility and fairness left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t recommend this property if you value responsive or traveler-friendly policies.

I like the staff and convenience of the location. I didnt like how it was so hard just to get a Uber. Maybe you all should fix the address info. Everytime I would call for an Uber for the pickup options the hotel next door or the arena down the street.

Adequate. Bare bones. Not a lot of amenities. No luggage rack. But the AC worked which was critical in Atlanta. No bar. Some desk clerks nice. Not all. Breakfast was ok. Not great. Breakfast lady rude.
