Very outdated property. Would have rated this lower, but the air conditioned room and hot shower helped to preserve a decent rating. AC was unplugged when I arrived, but worked fine once I plugged it in. Stains on the couch, paint peeling from walls, mold in the shower. Old, small television. Ironing board looked like someone used it as a cutting board. Staff at desk was pleasant during check in, which was my only interaction. Room condition just makes it seem that the owner doesn't care about investing in upgrades. Surprised at the conditions at this hotel, especially since it is adjacent to Home Depot's corporate office. I would think that investing in remodel would allow them to command a higher price and lead to a far more enjoyable stay by those using it to visit Home Depot. Again, overall rating would have been lower save for the hot shower and working air conditioner.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was not what we expected. There was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the hotel, and the odor was noticeable even inside the rooms. I understand that these situations can sometimes be difficult for a hotel to control, but I believe more should be done to ensure a comfortable environment for all guests, especially families traveling with children. For this reason, I would not recommend this hotel for families.

I’m never the person to leave reviews but this place was awful and not worth my money. I’ve never had this experience with a La Quinta but this place was about the quality of a motel 6 or days inn. I felt that I had to wear my shoes throughout my room based off the stains throughout the carpet and the urine and wet dog smell. Water damage on the ceiling with mold that had clearly poured down the wall and onto the curtains and window covering (which stained it black) and had been left there. Stains on the bench at the end of the bed, blood and other stains on the sheets and comforter, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, prior guest hair in the towels, loud barking dogs next door to us, air never went below 72. The warmer the room was, the worse the smell was. Had to flush the toilet 2-3 times to get the toilet paper to go down. Great area when it comes to convenience and staff was nice but… that’s about all it had going for it. Never again.

The only good thing at this hotel as I stated before on my comments from September 10 has been the staff. I was told that the hotel now is being sold and hopefully we’ll get a new owner that will care more than about the hotel than the last previous owner, who was obviously milking it for money. This once was a flagship Laquinta right beside the corporate officers Home Depot the owner should be ashamed of themselves for their lack of care for customer pride owning a business and doing the right thing there are no amenities that I can speak of that was worth seeing this trip. The market room is nothing to be talked about. The only good thing was the staff as always they seem to be holding strong, even with their worst support of management and ownership.
