The future guests must know that there is no free breakfast and parking included in your reservation. There is only valet parking and lines are VERY long, $55 per day.

For the price I was expecting a little more. Bathroom was tiny and dated. Bed skirt hanging off the bed frame. Room was clean but wasn't any better than a La Quinta or some cheaper hotel. The pool was AMAZIGN though, felt like a tropical paradise. Kinda silly that breakfast was $20+ per person.

The breakfast was $21 a person and the quality was low. The “buffet” in reality was 4-5 food items. The hallways and rooms were in need of an update. Everything looked dingy, marks on the walls and lights, the paint was peeling from a lot of the walls, and there is ONLY valet parking, which is $55. You have to pay to park across the street in the parking garage. The surrounding area is pretty terrible as well. In my room, a vent tile fell out of the ceiling, as well as a trash bag with soaked, filthy towels where a pipe was leaking, and had been leaking for awhile with mildew. As a positive, the staff was friendly and the pool area is really great.

The pool area had a strong smell of chlorine, the breakfast buffet highly expensive even tho they gave us 10.00 off per night for one guest . And the mayor inconvenienced, only one elevator working on the south tower where the room was assigned. The area for the Valentine parking always a mess.

The hotel hosted a party during my stay that had loud and obnoxious people yelling constantly and starting fights every three seconds. People screaming curse words every minute about "yo baby momma" and "someone go get unc he actin a fool" A young man screaming into his phone "I DONT CARE ILL KILL THAT B**CH" Honestly I didn't feel safe. Hotel staff did nothing about it while he continued screaming into his phone for half an hour by the pool. They ignored it and weren't even concerned like it was something normal and happens every day. Then, the valet staff admitted they "lost" my truck and it took 40 minutes for them to finally retrieve it. At first I figured someone just made a mistake and didn't think much of it, but then it happened again the next day. The entire hotel reeked of cheap weed for the whole stay. Also, the valet is not optional and is 55$ a day. I understand this can be common in cramped cities but there was no mention of it when I booked. Yea, never again.

This property said it had a heated pool with a bar and a retractable roof. The pool was cold the area was dirty towels everywhere. It was sunny and beautiful outside and the roof was closed the water was freezing. The restaurant had limited hours and only one bar tender to tend to everyone.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures. The staff is friendly. The rooms are not great, small and older. The worst part was the parking! The parking garage fills up and you have no where to park with zero options. Parking is $55.00 per night which is not listed anywhere and then when you try to get parked you’re lucky if there is even a spot. For our 2 night stay there was no parking available and we had to find other means which was not safe for us as we are young women in our 20’s.

My stay was great. But I did see a roach the second to last day of my stay. My room was not cleaned one day it should have been. And I was not happy about that. I hope this gets checked. The hotel was nice overall.

The comforter on the bed was dirty. A coffee maker was missing the insert where you put the coffee in the phone and the phone wasn’t working. I tried to call front desk several times, but there was no answer.

Didnt expect to have to pay additional $55 dollars because valet parking in mandatory. My room has been set to 60° since arrival at 4pm and is starting to cool at 930pm. In addition it has a horrible chemical smell. Roaches in bathroom, and coffee pot was missing parts

Parking was scarce and expensive. Some rooms had refrigerators, some didn’t. Some bathrooms has locks, some didn’t. Peeling wallpaper in the hallways. Roaches in rooms. Stains on sheets and headboards. Breakfast not included with the stay. Would not stay again.

Whenever I had complaints, the staff were quick to respond when I'd visit the front desk - a definite plus. However, the complaints included a lamp that wouldn't turn on, leftover trash in the ice bucket from a previous guest that housekeeping missed, no answers by guest services when I'd try reaching them by the room phone, lack of heat in the room when it was cold outside, and a towel with a stain that was not completely cleaned after presumably being laundered. Also, the booking site said check-out time was 12pm so I planned my schedule accordingly, only to learn after arriving that check-out time is actually 11am. Please also note that when the hotel description mentions guests receiving a $10 food and beverage voucher per day, this comes out of the "destination fee" that guests are obligated to pay. In other words, guests PAY for this $10 food and beverage voucher themselves - and they can only be used on the property. So it's not really a benefit or gift. Overall, staying at the property was okay. I cannot emphasize enough that the staff were responsive and courteous. Though I don't think I'd be staying here again personally.

Okay. This place is a nice spot BUT I was surprised by the cleanliness of the room. The bedskirt was dirty which was a red flag. I messaged the service and received no response. So in the morning as I was putting up the stopper, I noticed a roach. Me…this cant be a roach. And it was. Then it started moving which meant it was alive. The dirty bedskirt had droplets of blood on it and guess why?! There was BLOOD on the mattress. This was so disgusting which told me the rooms are not being properly cleaned and disinfected. I messaged and was only told I’d be refunded my destination fee of $27. I feel not heard and this will happen to someone else. A roach. And Im not talking cockroach, this was a baby. I have video of the live moving roach. The blood soaked mattress and bedskirt. Just nasty.

There was mold in the bathroom. The door was broken in the bathroom and the tub would not drain. Also we had the AC on but warm air came out until we dropped it to the low 60s. Even then it didn’t actually get cold. When we got there, the receptionist was talking to everybody but us. They were moody and seemed as if we were a bother. When I was checking out, I did express all of these things in the guy was typing, but honestly, it looked like it was just hitting buttons it’s to appease me.

The front foyer has been remodeled, the rest of the hotel has not. The employees are so kind. There is a $75 charge to check in early. The halls and rooms have a terrible mildew smell on the lower levels. If your room faces the pool, it is very loud. Original room had stains on sheets. You can drop your bags early and leave them after checkout wifhout a charge.

The Internet was slow-the photos of the room were misleading. We should have had a pool view. We could see the roof of the pool. No pool view. The room was missing pieces and parts, the furniture was damaged and dinged up. There was a musty smell. We won’t be back.

The property was very clean and the customer service was great. The rooms are pretty outdated, the bathroom was extremely small and the shower head barely worked and was stuck on a jet setting.

The pool was a huge hit with my 7 year old. Older property, fine for a place to sleep, acceptable. Rather than pay the steep parking fee, I used Spot Hero to use a nearby lot.

I am a senior citizen and had to stand in line for almost 2 hours to check in. I was told that I had to deposit $100 for incidentals but would be returned on checkout if everything in the room was in order. When I arrived in the room the bathroom sink was almost clogged because it took the water forever to drain out. I noticed that a metal piece on back of the chair at the desk had a hairline crack and the security lock on the door was broken. I tried calling several times to report but no one answered the phone. I finally went to the front desk the next day and reported it to Laura. She said she made note of it. I finally talked with a lady in housekeeping, but she didn't speak English but did say she would notify her supervisor. I never heard from anyone during my stay. I mentioned it as I was checking out and was told by the manager, "I am so sorry, but it's nothing I can do." Then I was surprised by the destination fee of $27.23 per day. I was never informed of this when I checked in. On a good note, the bed was comfortable.

Half of hotel was closed due to incident 3 days prior to stay. We were never alerted only to arrive and we were told no room available despite receiving confirmation text day prior. No call. No communication. Just arrive and told nothing available. Caused us to scramble for place to stay within downtown for the falcons game. Would not recommend.

Whenever I had complaints, the staff were quick to respond when I'd visit the front desk - a definite plus. However, the complaints included a lamp that wouldn't turn on, leftover trash in the ice bucket from a previous guest that housekeeping missed, no answers by guest services when I'd try reaching them by the room phone, lack of heat in the room when it was cold outside, and a towel with a stain that was not completely cleaned after presumably being laundered. Also, the booking site said check-out time was 12pm so I planned my schedule accordingly, only to learn after arriving that check-out time is actually 11am. Please also note that when the hotel description mentions guests receiving a $10 food and beverage voucher per day, this comes out of the "destination fee" that guests are obligated to pay. In other words, guests PAY for this $10 food and beverage voucher themselves - and they can only be used on the property. So it's not really a benefit or gift. Overall, staying at the property was okay. I cannot emphasize enough that the staff were responsive and courteous. Though I don't think I'd be staying here again personally.

We never got to stay there, they had a problem with south tower that they had known about since Tuesday, Friday was check in. They moved us to another hotel, but they could have emailed that info out so we would not have to have unloaded car and valet parked it. Should have notified and sent us strait to the other hotel. Offered no perks either.

I had a late night check in and the staff member who took care of us was absolutely inhospitable. Really rude and didn’t take my card when I arrived. Told me everything was good to go. Didn’t give us the promised water which for a room of four people only two bottles is crazy. We also we set up in the south tower which is the most inconvenient area of the hotel. You have to walk so far just to get to one of the only working elevators out of the two. Then gotten to the room that was misleading from the image that we actually order the based on. I also could never get anyone to answer the phone at front desk while calling from my room 2 days in a row. The valet guys were super nice and very accommodating..Especially MJ! 😎 He’s the Best. He went above and beyond his call of duty to assist. A great asset for your business.

Hotel was nice and pool was fun. Room was clean. Dining option was just ok. The daily fee was a bit much, steep for what you got (WiFi? And a $10 credit at store?) Daily fee should have included parking. Only valet parking available at $55 day. Nearby parking lots were cheaper however should not be used due to lack of safety and security. We tried the first night and came back to our car being ok ( thank goodness!) But two others had their windows broken siding the evening before. Unfortunately this hotel is located in such a run down and unsafe part of ATL - I wouldn’t return.

Honestly…I don't understand all the negative reviews. Great location right in the heart of downtown and near MARTA (we long term parked at a MARTA station to avoid the $50 a night valet cost). Had a room on 3rd floor and the room let out over the atrium with the pool which was cool. Room itself was nice and clean. A lot of people talk about the homeless around the property…walked by the Ritz and there were homeless about so it’s more a downtown issue than hotel issue.

After dark the lobby and the grounds became a weird playground for young men on bicycles, it got strange. Some were trying to enter the locked areas of the hotel. Seemed like something that goes on there regularly as the hotel staff appeared nonplussed. Overall the hotel is in a fairly desolate area. Spend a few more bucks & go up the street to the Hilton. We were amazed how much nice it was and it's only a block or two away.

For the most part I’d say this hotel was pretty great! I was especially a fan of their indoor pool which is located in this atrium area. My only real complaints are pretty small: one of the towels in our bathroom had a stain when we went to use it, when I requested new tissues for our room via their text service they were never provided, the queen beds can’t really accommodate 2 people comfortably (in my experience) and their cable selection is incredibly limited. That said, it’s in a super nice location, they give you $10 in meal vouchers a day during your stay which was super convenient, and you can actually adjust the thermostat in your room which is surprisingly uncommon in hotels I’ve stayed at in the past. Altogether I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the downtown area. It’s pretty affordable and I don’t think you’ll regret it.

I was able to switch rooms after waiting on maintenance for over an hour. The second room was better but not by much. The furniture was all scratched up and does not have any usb chargers. The hotel has security officers walking around the front of the building but the guest floors are not secure. Anyone can come up the elevators and to your floor and the hotel has a good population of homeless people around the area. The breakfast at the restaurant is $21 and isn’t that great. I had to ask several times for silverware and a drink. Then they were rushing me to pay before I even completed my meal. Save your money and eat elsewhere. If I decide to visit Atlanta again I will stay elsewhere.

The breakfast was $21 a person and the quality was low. The “buffet” in reality was 4-5 food items. The hallways and rooms were in need of an update. Everything looked dingy, marks on the walls and lights, the paint was peeling from a lot of the walls, and there is ONLY valet parking, which is $55. You have to pay to park across the street in the parking garage. The surrounding area is pretty terrible as well. In my room, a vent tile fell out of the ceiling, as well as a trash bag with soaked, filthy towels where a pipe was leaking, and had been leaking for awhile with mildew. As a positive, the staff was friendly and the pool area is really great.

For the price, which was lower than most near Americasmart, it was acceptable. Service in the restaurant was top notch. Valet was great and accommodating when I needed items from my car but didn't need my vehicle. There is no microwave or refrigerator in the room. It is bare necessity, a place to shower and lay your head only. Did not like the toilet. It never 'fully' flushed, I assume it is an eco friendly version. The area around the pool is beautiful....felt like I was in the French Quarter.

This was an unusual stay. When i made the reservation valet parking was an option at $50/night. Before i arrive i received an email stating the $50 would be added to my stay. Optional? No! There is no public parking only valet & it wass $55 when i git there. Outrageous! Continental breakfast was $15, full buffet was 21, but they automaticly added a gratuity to that. It is an old buikding & had a little musty smell to it! Our room was basic & TV didnt work to begin with. No laundry bag, 1 trash can in bathroom & then no liner. They are proud of the fact that they give you 2 complimentary bottles of water & a $10 voucher towards on property concessions. But you paid $27 destinatin fee for that. Room door bottom 5" were delaminating. Needless to say i wasnt very pleased.

My son and I stayed at this hotel for the Sonic Expo. The room was average so not a problem there. The vending machines worked half the time and the drink vending machines are on every other floor on the opposite side of the hotel from the elevators and at least 4 drink machines were sold out (that was even before the expo). They did have a variety of food options; however, they were all crazy expensive! The gift shop and cafe did not have much for food options and a small bag of chips was more than $3.50. Although the cafe had a food menu, they didn’t actually have or sell any hot food.They also charged an extra $27 per day on top of the hotel cost. The biggest frustration was the parking situation. The only option the hotel has for parking is valet which costs $55 per night! We were there for 4 nights so that would’ve been over $200 just to park!! Since I wasn’t going to pay that they suggested the parking garage across the street which wreaked of urine, vomit, and weed. The first night we got there super late and I’m pretty sure the people who greeted us in the garage swindled us because they had me pay $60 for the 4 nights and said that included in and out privledges, but the gates were up the whole time so people could come and go anytime anyway. The day we left the gates were actually down of course and I had to pay another $25 to get out of the garage. I know this isn’t the hotel’s fault but their ridiculous prices to park pretty much forced us to park over there.

The girls at the front checking people in are rude as hell. I was trying to let them know I normally don’t pay for early check in when I visit the city, not saying I didn’t want to pay it, but that I just don’t normally do it. And the girl at the desk was very short and dry with me.I’m not sure what her name was. We traveled far and I had my child with me and instead of trying to work with us, they just turned us away. After I informed them we wouldn’t have anywhere to go if we didn’t stay there. Any other hotel I’ve visited in Atlanta has never treated us that way! They work with us! And have a lot more empathy. I will never stay there again. And I’ve informed so many people to never come there. The only pleasant thing was the older man, he was security. He treated us so nice. But outside of that. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to as far as customer service in the past ten years and I visit Atlanta FREQUENTLY. Very disappointed for as much as I had to do! Do better!

The decor has changed the pool used to look like a true resort feel with large cabanas. That has been removed the cleanliness has declined over the last 4 years and the front desk staff customer service has been degraded. Property needs to be renovated
