Magnolia Creek Lodge

This was a lovely lodge with beautiful interior and large rooms. They don’t serve breakfast but in our fridge there were 2 banana nut muffins, 2 juice bottles, and 2 containers of yogurt! Hi thoughtful and delicious! Very clean and would stay here again and again!

Just wish the walls in the room were thinker, I could hear the other people in their room

Unlike any other place I've ever stayed. I came to Dothan to attend the Peanut Fair. Wanted a clean, quiet place near the fairgrounds. This place is an older lodge, next to a golf course and casino. At night, it's dark, dark. Seems to be in the capable hands of two young staffers who take great pride in keeping the place sparkling clean and running smoothly. I didn’t quite know what to make of the "continental breakfast." It was already in the room fridge the night of check-in: yogurt, 2 packaged muffins, 2 small bottles of juice. Coffeemaker is in room. Also, be aware of the hefty damage deposit placed on credit cards in advance. TV has a gazillion channels. A vast array of books are available to borrow if you prefer to read. I can't say enough good things about the gals who work there, multitasking everything from working the front desk to maintaining the rooms and public areas of the beautiful lodge. I would stay there again.
