The check in was very easy. The staff was super friendly and quick. Parking lot was a bit cramped but we were lucky enough to get a spot just outside the room. The rooms are exterior entry so keep that in mind. The lobby is nice enough and clean. They offered a continental breakfast which we did not try. They are pet friendly and did not have a weight restriction on the dog which is why we chose the hotel. The night manager didn’t even charge us for the pet which was a wonderful surprise. That was all good. The bad was the room is a bit tired and you can tell they did patch things up but the spackling was raw and didn’t match the white paint of the walls. The worst part was there was flies in the room when we first entered. There were about 6-8 and we soent 20 minutes trying to hunt them down and kill them all. We never did get all of them. The room didn’t have the AC turned on when you arrive so everything was very musty and humid (it was mid June) when you get in. The musty smell and feeling of dampness and humidity never left the room. The bathroom was bit cramped but serviceable and the door to the toilet didn’t shut all the way. The bed was comfortable enough and they have you two pillow for each bed. Would I stay here again, maybe. I was really turned off by the flies and musty smell. But the friendliness and price might tempt me to stay for a night if I am driving through again.
