Econo Lodge Cartersville-Emerson Lake Point

This is an older hotel but the owners seem to be working to keep it updated and landscaped. My room was nice with fresh paint and the bathroom appeared to have been recently remodeled. Overall, the hotel and my room were clean with just a few items that could have been cleaner/detailed — TV remote, desk lamp shade and base (sticky like someone had spilled on it). For some reason, there are old and crusty outlets still in the remodeled bathroom but that may be an update in the works. Air conditioner unit a bit noisy but tolerable. A good stay for the money, especially if you are looking for an economical overnight while traveling.

Easy access, close to I-75. Quiet, clean, small room, step in shower, hair dryer. Okay for an overnight. Grab & Go breakfast; mini chocolate muffins, juice, instant oatmeal packs, white toast, jam, coffee, cremella, bananas. Reasonable for the going rates these days.

The front desk staff was less than civil. Advertising was miss leading stated pet policy was $15 per night. No mention of that being per pet. Room was good except there was dirt on the floor along the baseboards
