Didn't eat, grabbed two hostess danish to go fast. They were fresh. Parking very convenient & well lit.

What a pleasant surprise! Wyndham took over HoJo and we didn't know until it came up in Expedia. The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating, especially the gal who checked us in. Remodeled in a retro HOJO theme ... we lived it! Clean, pet friendly, extremely good location to Rt 75 for we travelers. Reasonably priced, and the pet fee was $15 per night. (Some charge up to $75!!) Parking is not spacious for a box truck or are towing a huge boat or camper. It is plentiful for regular vehicles. We will definitely stay again in our travels.

Staff was not nice except for the older gentleman he tried to be nice. The pool has been shut down for 7 years. The staff is also the cleaning folks they asked if we want the room cleaned daily we opted out due to really didn't want them in our room. Room was clean everything worked as it should. Breakfast is not worth it. Bottom line if you need a place to crash for the night great place anything other than that go somewhere else.

Basic quiet hotel, was annoyed that on Memorial Day weekend their pool was not open and I’d doesn’t appear to be opening anytime soon.

I like that you can park right outside the room. The outdoor area is well lit.

The room was clean but had a few issues. One of the electrical outlets was missing a cover and there was a thin layer of dust on the headbard and lamp on nightstand as well as the shelf in sink area. The breakfast had minimal vatiety and the coffee was water. Most disappointing was that the pool was closed and there was no notice to inform us prior to check-in. Overall, the quality equalled the cost and was worth it for an overnight stay.

I stayed here for a tournament so all i needed was inexpensive, clean and safe. I got all 3. The location is great. In a neighborhood setting near the college. Close to everything. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC was a little noisy but cooled well. The breakfast is limited but better than nothing. They have a coffee machine so you are able to get a cup anytime. Pool was not operational and based on the reviews, hasn't been in a while. This is a smoking property but it is only in rooms in another detached building so the main building is smoke free. The front desk staff is very helpful and nice. I would stay here again.

It was extremely well lit at any time of night. The room was clean and well appropriated. Everything worked as it should. Excellent value for the price. This is my second stay there when I've gone to visit my mom in Dalton, and I would stay again. My only complaint either time is I would have liked to have an extra blanket in the room or a thicker duvet on the bed because I can get cold. Last time I did ask for an extra blanket and they accommodated me.

Very nice property, my only real complaint was that the pool wasn't open due to being renovated.

The property was very and safe. First week of June and the pool was closed. Coffee was excellent - breakfast was minimal but was as expected. WIFI was very slow and unpredictable at time(evening). I would stay there again if the budget dictated.

I awoke to find bites on my arm, leg, and chest, upon further examination I found a bedbug in the sheets. I have pictures to back up my claim. The staff was dismissive when I told them about my experience.

Didn’t realize the special price was for a smoking room. I never book smoking rooms. When i complained and insisted on a non smoking room i was charged $50 more. And then my next room had a moldy, non working refrigerator , so i had to move to another room next door. Not happy being treated like i was a problem.

The room was slapped together with dirty tape holding signs on the door. There were stains in the bathroom and on the outside and inside of the entryway door. The room smelled musty like water damage in the room. When I asked for an extra blanket the front desk woman said, "I don't know if we have any." I asked her to check anyway. She came back with a thin cover, basically like a curtain. Not coz ,y at all. When I turned on the t.v. it had fuzzy pictures. When I called to reception to let them know there was no helpful response. I checked under the sheets to look at the mattress, and felt something crunchy on it as well as black dotted stains. I would have stayed somewhere else but it was already past 9 at night and I was exhausted from driving over 8 hours and had just been arranging his memorial service. Mentally and physically exhausted and did not feel taken care of at this hotel at all.

When we arrived at the hotel we were advised that we had booked a smoking room and if we wanted a non-smoking room we would have to pay $10 more. I have bad allergies, so I never would have booked a smoking one. I told the front desk clerk that when I made the reservation, the room description did not specify smoking or non. She said "yea that happens a lot". I could not modify the reservation through the Hotels.com app since it was the same day so I agreed to pay the extra. When we got to our room, it felt damp and smelled musty. The only sitting chair was so dirty and stained we did not touch it because it was covered in what looked like grease. The headboard too looked greasy and the material was damaged. We started to bring in our things and it was after that that I first went into the bathroom. The ceiling was completely covered in mold and the bathtub was filthy and covered in hair. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for another room because of my allergies. The clerk came to the room to check and then said absolutely. As we were about to move rooms, the owner came out and said we did not need to change rooms. The clerk showed her the mold and she said "So what is the problem? It's no big deal." The clerk started to argue with her and she moved us to another room saying "I don't care what she says". It appeared to be cleaner, but it was still musty and the fridge was completely covered in mold. We were exhausted so we slept fully dressed and just left early

The hotel had bedbugs. Howard Johnson’s would not refund usnorwood hotels.com. Be careful who you book through. We have pictures of the bedbugs and neither one would refund the money. We had to move hotels, and we were out double the expense. So they are promoting bedbugs if you want to use them hotels.com or Howard Johnsons make sure you are aware you will have bedbugs and they don’t care.

Property itself was ok, the desk clerk at checkin at 5:30 PM ON 7/19/25 was rude and room had crumbs between sheets and hair in bathtub, obviously hadn't been cleaned.

Cockroach in the shower. The overstuffed chair in our room was disgusting. The headboard on the bed had something spilled on it. The wall in the bathroom had a dried on spill next to the sink. The property had just been restored but was already getting bad.

When I went to turn down my bed at approximately 11:30p I saw that my sheets were soiled! Additionally, the shower soap holder had a bar of soap with hair on it! I slept on top of the bed and picked up the bar of soap with tissue and disposed of it in the trash can. When I went to the office the next day, the owner said I should have come down to the office right away to change the room - insinuating that the situation was somehow my fault. Additionally, she said they just hired a new cleaner.! No excuses - I'm the customer! No offer of reducing the price of the room for one night, no apology given. I won't book again!

Room was small but very clean and comfortable.

Tub not very clean, but the beds were very comfortable. No coffee maker in the room.

Overall appearance is fine and room could have been okay but had a musty pungent smell that was hard to deal with.

Carpet is tattered / frayed next to bed. Secondary lock that you flip across was completely broken off. Would have requested a room change if we weren’t already completely unpacked / settled.

Breakfast was very generic and processed, some fruit, but mostly cereal, hostess pastries, bagels, minny sausage sandwiches, along with a coffee machine. TV is very outdated, but still worked, had the typical channels and more options besides the typical, 2, 5, and 7. Beds are super comfy,.pillows were great

The room did not smell very fresh. It had a very stale odor. It appeared very clean however the bed covers didn’t smell fresh and clean. I felt I could smell it. The odor of other people having slept in the bed. One bed had such a sunken place in it. I had to switch to the other to be more comfortable.

Rooms renovated. Clean. Comfortable. Ample parking. Easy access to I75. Breakfast was basic but ample and clean/ fresh.

Air and heating units noisy! Had to turn off during the night!

Wish there was coffee in the room

Have stayed here several times and the facility meets our needs at a reasonable price. The front desk reservationist was unfriendly and of no help answering questions about the area. She actually seemed irritated when asked about local restaurants. Not a pleasant experience

Front desk receptionist was rude and acted like she didn’t want to be at work. The lock on the door didn’t work correctly and was barely latched.

The breakfast was a continental breakfast. It wasn’t a hot cooked breakfast. My wife and her best friend didn’t arrive and get checked in until 3:30 am. Housekeeping was beating on the door at 7:30 am and he tried to enter the room. If the door wasn’t latched from the inside, he would have walked right in. The front desk clerk said some people just leave their keys in the room and self check out. Housekeeping should not be trying to enter the rooms until after check out time. My wife and her friend were very upset and scared.

The night clerk was in friendly and very rude. We have stayed here for many years and never had a problem until this stay.

My only comment is the girl at the front desk was on a personal phone call when we walked in and continued talking on the phone during our check-in.

1. Reception clerk was not welcoming. 2. Stink bug flew out of lamp and landed on table. 3. Could not connect to internet. Front desk offered little support. 4. First 20 channels had fuzzy reception. 5. Morning reception clerk was much more pleasant. 6. No laundry bag available. 7. AC /Heat unit did not work on the Auto mode. 8. Not sure we saw evidence of recent upgrades.

Clerk at check-in was rude and hard to understand otherwise the property seems fine.

The room was fine but I’m very upset that room service attempted to come into my room at 7:30am while me and my children were still sleeping!

Counter staff are extremely rude and unwelcoming. If it hadn’t have been a no refund room we would have gone elsewhere.

The hotel room was nice but my issue was the checking in. The lady was rude the whole time, even answered her cellphone while checking me in. Didnt even have a name tag, so didn't get her name.I have stayed at alot of hotels due to traveling for my kids sporting events and the service was the worst i have had. She even hollared at me across the lobby while going out the asking if i had a pet after i already checked in. Didnt even tell me about breakfast hours or anything. Will not be back.

It was right off the interstate so was convenient

We have stayed at his location before. The service and cleanliness have, thus far, been second to none. There was easy access, both to the location and to the room. We were even able to park in front of the room.The restrooms were clean. The bed was great. Our experience was awsome.

Stopped overnight on our trip to see the grandchildren. We weren’t looking to spend a large amount for a room. This room met our expectations, and we drove into the quaint historic district of Dalton.

Attractive inside and out. Convenient location just off I-75. Rooms were clean and well-kept. Our beds were nice & comfortable. I noticed how well-lit the property was when we drove up. My only complaint -- Breakfast was a miss. Nothing appetizing. Very limited offerings. That was kind of a "Why bother?"

Everything was good, except the breakfast, all they had was cereal, yogurt, bananas and some muffins, nothing hot, we went to Waffle House

Only one negative thing. Found a moldy sausage biscuit when having the continental breakfast. Hot breakfast would be preferred but for the price you get what you pay for.

We showed up for breakfast at 5:55 am and told no breakfast till 6:00 am just coffee. We got coffee and all the food was out but could not get any food. We left mad
