Virtually NO and ineffective WiFi. Had to leave the room to make a call or text on our cell phones. Room needed help. Probably will NOT stay there again.

Internet doesn't work properly

Room was clean plenty of parking A/C & heat was great we needed both. Most staff is great

The light on the building was out had a little trouble finding it

[THOROUGH REVIEW] Staff is available 24/7, good appliances for cooking, grocery store nearby, but be patient with communicating because some staff members might have Hindi or Urdu as their first language (2024 August) LOCATION: The hotel has 2 driveways, that are on either side of a gas station, that has a convenience store. The hotel has 2-floors and 2-buildings, and does have numerous ramps from parking lot asphalt, to the sidewalks next to the room doors and to the front desk, but there do not appear to be elevators, as of 2024 August. Room doors open to the exterior, so check for good door insulation. The hotel is located on Colman Street, which is near a ShopRite grocery store, and an NSA Supermarket. Staples, which can accept Amazon returns, is in the same plaza as the NSA Supermarket, where there is also a Burlington retail store. In New London, there is an Amtrak-and-CT rail station, along the Thames river, near water ferries to Long Island New York. The trains can take you west toward New Haven CT or east toward Providence RI. There is also a local bus service, called "Southeast Area Transit" (SEAT) which can bring you to Norwich CT and Groton CT. The USS Nautilus museum is also nearby, if one is interested in submarines. From New London CT, one has to cross to the other (east) side of the river Thames, to get to the museum in Groton CT. GENERAL PROCEDURAL SUGGESTIONS: i) Accept official "Digital State ID" as identification (such as Colorado\'s DMV app)

Met with my very basic needs. A good bed, plenty of hot and cold running water, and good AC! No desk or chair and not even a bedside light!

Needed a place to crash for a few nights after a craft fair. This fit the needs perfectly but also set your expectations. Was it clean, yes including the bathroom. Easy on/off the highway. Bed was decent. TV, fridge microwave sink all worked. For the price range, it was much better than some of the other motels in the same area. Long term vacation stay, spend up elsewhere. Checked in at 11pm no problem. Again, great place to crash for the night.

WiFi was non existent! Bathtub was disgustingly dirty as well as the leaking faucet and the water was backed up into the tub from drain. The comforter on the bed had large black stains all over it! There was also a terrible musty smell in the room! Honestly the worst place I have ever stayed! Never again! Beware!

There were no conveniences. No hairdryer, no coffee pot in room or in lobby, no face cloths, no soap or shampoo, no cups in room, no ice. No help from front desk! This is the worst hotel I've stayed at in a very long time

The property is advertised as “studio” and claims each room has a kitchen. There is a sink, cabinets and a studio sized fridge, but no cook ware, dishes, stove or even a microwave. The other guests were loud, obnoxious and at times, violent. I do not recommend this property at all.

No soap in the room, microwave was missing. Smelled like pot when we arrived. Only has 2 towels for 4 people and we’re unable to get 2 additional towels until the next day. Bugs in the room. Left a day early and stayed elsewhere.

Outdated, air conditioner is filty and loud. Poor water source. Hallway is ditty filled with trash and smells bad

In my opinion, the hotel was not worth the money paid. I killed a roach while there. Not a place I will return to.

Black mold on ceiling. Floor,my clothes and shopping bags damp from the moisture in the room. Everything smelled like mildew

I had a great stay. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Only suggestion was a chair to sit in beside the bed while I ate a takeout meal. Very happy. Would stay again.

Bathroom toilet was leaking, bathroom ceiling had black mold and the wall between the bathroom and sink also. The room smelled musty.

The hotel room had clearly not been cleaned as trash was found under the beds and sticky liquids were spilled on the floor. We booked a non-smoking room but were placed in a smoking room, which was the most potent odor, and we ended up leaving early. We had to have our clothes fumigated upon leaving due to the intense smoke smell. Truly was concerned about our lungs, thats how heavy the smoke was. Shower barely turned on, had to buy our own towels due to the state of the hotel ones (which we had to go ask for). Oddest smells coming from the sinks. Attempted to get some compensation for the issues, but the staff denied due to their absolute zero refund policy.

Room was very outdated. Curtain looked like a bug was squashed on it and dead carcas was left on it. Definitely an example of putting lipstick on a pig.

Moldy smell and shower does not drain.

To declare new paint on the wall the site as renovated is crap. The room was damp and has bad air, the AC was loud and noise and works not well. The door lock was defective. Not again this Motel

Overall not bad. Counters need replacing. Bathroom door wouldn't shut. Air conditioner very noisy

The air conditioning didn’t work, but made awful noise all night. I didn’t sleep a wink. I let them know in the morning and they offered me a discount for a future stay. I would never stay there again. Not to mention I itched for three days after leaving there. They said because I booked through Expedia that I would have to request a refund from them. Expedia said the hotel wouldn’t cooperate because I checked out. No duh. I normally stay at at much nicer hotels, but we stopped late and only wanted to sleep and shower. Run away with your skin intact unless your goal is: No sleep. Sweating all night. Listening to a noisy air conditioner that wasn’t cooling the room. Itching for days.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaning crew was specifically thorough at keeping it that way during our stay.

I'm not satisfied. The property door lock is not fixed properly. We had an issue with the shower, which didn't work. We had to wait 1 1/2 hours to fix it. The heating system was noisy during the night. My advice: Please check the room and amenities once you check-in.

No smoke detector in the room. A/C unit dial unclear of settings, grate broken. Shower mixing valve not working properly. No instructions for the TV. One light not working.

Room was nothing fancy (as expected for the price). But the bathroom was in poor shape, dirty tub and the AC did not work. I will say they did bring in a different ac unit and fixed it

The rooms could certainly use an update and we had a small leak in the bathroom. Hotel staff, though, were helpful and friendly. The place is close by I-95, but you wouldn't know it from walking around the grounds. Looks like you're in the middle of a park!

1. You can't understand the people behind the desk. 2. Check in office not pleasant. 3. Room, pictures on website.are different then the room we got. 4. We had a non-smoking room and it smelled like a bar We didn't stay there we got another place to stay. We asked for a refund but they said they couldn't give us a credit. Very unhappy about this situation. Paid $140.?? For nothing.

First, they told me I have no reservations. Then it changed to it has not been paid and the final straw, no king bed. It’s not easy to find. Would not come back here again.

We ask for extra towels and they said that we couldn't get any extra towels or wash cloths or anything the staff there is very very unprofessional I will never ever stay there ever again. Never have I been to a hotel where I such terrible terrible service honestly they need a whole new staff. Very very UNPROFESSIONAL

Convenient

The rooms could certainly use an update and we had a small leak in the bathroom. Hotel staff, though, were helpful and friendly. The place is close by I-95, but you wouldn't know it from walking around the grounds. Looks like you're in the middle of a park!

Got what we paid for. Right off 95. Convenient and very reasonably priced

Stay away. It's clearly used as housing for people as there were groups hanging around with dogs and a strong smell of drugs. We didn't feel safe here. We checked in and left as soon as we found alternative accommodation which I've never had to do before. Area is a dumping ground with abandoned trailers, cars and tyres in the carpark.

When we arrived at 3:00 our room was not ready. A half hour later still not ready. As we were sitting in our car waiting, we saw a drug deal going on and prostitution. We left right away. Did not feel safe.

The place has seen better days. Most of the guest are permanent guests. My wife didn't want to take a shower there. We were there for a show at Mohegan Sun which is 15 minutes away. Not a good place for a family

Wow, this was a scary experience. It looked like there were people living at the hotel. The parking lot and surrounding area were trashy. I pulled in at 1:00 am and there were people hanging around the parking lot and outside of rooms. I did NOT feel safe but didn't have much of a choice at that hour. The room smelled funny and was really tired looking. I almost wanted to sleep in my clothes. The guy at the front desk was very difficult to understand, English was obviously not his first language. Lesson learned will not stay here again.

Seemed like people were always in the parking lot or sitting at picnic tables all night.
