Overall good stay. As others have said its a decent place to lay your head. Only complaint is that it rained and the ground outside is very slippery. I slipped and fell twice. Fortunately I am okay but there were no wet floor warnings.

Simple room , queen bed , not bad for a single traveler or short overnight stay if getting off the road , near food and convenience stores , located off of a main busy highway with alor of traffic so it can be a little noisy

The bed skirts were dirty, the refrigerator, the telephone and the light switch face plates. I cleaned the face plates with soap. The base boards were dirty as well. The staff was very friendly. Water was leaking around the sink. I would not stay again even though it very close to the coliseum.

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Bathroom had hair on walls and a dirt all along bathroom. Comforter had holes in them. Walls looked they it had dried spit on them and hadnt been cleaned since it was last painted. A/c did not work it was 89* in room, asked to switch rooms but was told they didnt have any but the two rooms below mw were empty. This is a last resort stay do not book it on purpose.the reviews give it at 8.2 on this site. It should say -8.2.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise as it is older but very well maintained. The rooms are very nice, beds were comfortable and the front desk attendant was awesome. We stayed for 2 nights and ended up having to stay a 3rd night so I went right back to Relax Inn. If ever in Hampton again this is where I will stay.

The place is rough! Bumpy patched up walls, sloppy paint, crooked toilet, etc. It was clean as far as I could tell, but it looked grungy. Also, I think someone was given the wrong room number as they tried to open my door.

The room reeked of smoke even though I booked non-smoking. I opened the refrigerator to put my soda in and realized that it was non-functional. Went to the table to turn the light on and the lamp didn't work. The ac barely kept up to keep the room cool but I checked in late and left early.

I loved how clean the rooms were and the property is literally free and very well taken care of. The staff were kind and very friendly and helpful. I recommend this establishment a great place to stay over night and know that you are in good hands. Thank you to the staff for your attention to details and the service is immaculate.

Booked 3 rooms for funeral. One room was a smoking room. We immediately told staff after checking in we couldn’t stand the strong smell of cigarette smoke. We ask for a non smoking room and they wouldn’t provide but charged us for a night even though we didn’t stay. The reception area has a big sign saying no pets are smoking. Complete ripoff and totally unfair. Misleading advertising. Should have been total refund because they didn’t could not furnish room. Not up to Orbitz standards and reputation

I moved here because accepted a job in Hampton and am in the process of finding housing. I will not stay here again! It is clear from the smoke stench of the room, and dilapidated furniture, that they have a low standard for their hospitality business. I moved a certain way on the toilet, and it came up off of the floor. The pillows in the pillowcases were dirty. I had to go buy my own pillow. The sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. I left and gladly paid a little more to stay somewhere else. Stay at your own risk!

The pros: a place to lay my head for cheap and polite staff. The cons: toilet wouldn’t flush, the carpet was wet and nasty, which I had to throw away a new pair of socks. Upon opening the door the room smelled of an unclean nursing home. A good part of my night was with me having to run the ac and keep the door open to try and get some type of fresh air. Which isn’t a good feeling because it’s not in the safest side of town to do. The rooms wasn’t cleaned what so ever. You can clearly see someone’s butt print on the nightstand. And I had to kill a fair share of bugs.

The pros: a place to lay my head for cheap and polite staff. The cons: toilet wouldn’t flush, the carpet was wet and nasty, which I had to throw away a new pair of socks. Upon opening the door the room smelled of an unclean nursing home. A good part of my night was with me having to run the ac and keep the door open to try and get some type of fresh air. I don't know what picture the used for the advertisement, but it's not the rooms they rent out, this place was FILTH.THE FIRST ROOM THE CRACK HEADS KEPT ME UP, I ASKED FOR SOMETHING CLOSE TO THE OFFICE THINKING THAT WOULD BE BETTER,THE ROOM HAD A TERRIBLE ODOR AND THE CARPET WAS STICKY. THE BATH TUB HAD CIGARETTE BURNS AND WAS RUSTY, THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS LOUD AND HAD A MILDEW SMELL WHEN YOU TURN IT ON. I SAW TWO ROACHES. I WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE ANY MORE
